Is it possible to get a student visa before septemeber 1st? Knowing one applied on 26th july and did biometrics 29th July. I want to do medicals down so I can beat time incase I'm required to submit it, but I've submitted my application. how can I get the medicals prepared so I can submit it when the need arises?

As you can see many June applicants and even some may applicants are yet to get a response/ medical request talk more of July applicants July 29 is even as good as August 1st
This is just August 6th for crying out loud. So relax

It's a normal monthly routine and doesn't add up. The applicant should be more concerned about the eligibility review and background check.

This is what you should have said earlier tho... you sounded rather scary initially

Hi from the attachment you shared. It happens that you subscribed to the monthly updates on your application, that's the reason to why you're receiving the email from IRCC. Please be guided that this doesn't show a positive sign on your application.

From my experience following this thread, anytime CIC goes quiet with applications like this, just know that many approvals will be coming soon frequently.
So brace yourself if you're under eligibility review, the few coming weeks are going to be hot with approvals! �

and its now 8weeks i have not heard anything from the embassy, my visa tracking is still showing in the canada visa office meanwhile my international student adviser mailed me informing me that visa confirmation for thompsosn rivers university is 1st August 2019. Please does it take this long, any hope that i will be given

You have to try and link the application online so that you will know the current status
Now you don’t even know the stage it is but if you link it online, you’ll have an idea of what’s going on

I have a friend he applied on 3rd of July and his background check started the next day and immediately he did his biometrics his eligibility review started...

I applied on paper also on the 13th of June and this is exactly how my account is. Still on background check. Although I did medicals upfront which I passed since the 25th of June.
