CFCfan: Yeah, I honestly don't see the APC winning any governorship seat or even getting up to 10% of the Presidential election votes in the South-east.Exactly, APC tenure should expire in IMO STATE come 2019 after Rochas, if u see the bigger picture. Finally, just becos somebody jumps ship does not mean they have to sink the ship for others still on to drown. Obi tenure is coming to an end next year and APGA should give us a technocrat like Soludo, very Educated. Wish Okorocha well, but APC will not enter any other state in the east. |

This is very simply, APGA needs to forget about Okorocha(Imo) and focus on Abia and Ebonyi State. In the East People voted Rochas because of APGA nothing else and Obi has retained power because of APGA nothing else. APGA will definately produce Governors in Ebonyi, Abia and Anambra come 2015. Soludo should join and campaign under APGA 2014. Politicians are usually flexible. Without APGA, it is back to square one again for ndiigbo. Why is dis just too hard to understand that Nigeria is not the UK/US and two party system can't operate just yet in our young democracy. A third party will be the power breaker, take the UK for example with Cameron Conservative Party only winning with the help of Liberal Party.(power sharing) South east politicians will be doll to allow ACN/CPC(APC) destroy something they had worked tirelessly to build right at its peak. |

They had meetings about a merger of both parties.Imo State is now ACN and CPC(APC), first stage of plan well in motion. I suppose APGA was included to effect their chances of breaking into the southeast and subsequently the southsouth. How APGA can be used by CPC and ACN that have both vehemently rejected The Presidency of other region, outside the North and South West and killed for that reason scores of people from those region is just amazing. Perhaps the saying dat igbo have no Leader is true, afterall. |

I don't see anything good comin out of APC. Legitimizing Tinubu and Buhari venture with seemingly APGA approval is a total sell out. APGA would have been stronger as the middle ground for both parties to negotiate with. Nobody will vote Buhari, GEJ has incumbent advantage and David Mark has an all inclusive appeal across regions. 1 Like |
