Openbusiness:
She's neither arrogant nor entitled. Based on her narration of the events, she's right and the Oyo government is wrong, that's why the OYO govt is doing all this damage control publicity, cuz they didn't expect the woman will be bold enough to confront and expose them. What she said is absolutely correct, she is a politician's wife and not just any politician, a recent Governor of her state, and a recent deputy national chairman of the ruling party, and a close ally of the powers that be. So she can't be picking calls anyhow. Because it could be an enemy or a troublemaker or people that are aggrieved with her husband or people begging for all kinds of favors. So she has to be selective to answer calls. It is the wise thing to do. She never said she doesn't pick calls, she said she doesn't pick calls from unknown numbers, that is numbers not saved on her phone. So the Oyo govt rep calling her was a dummy. If she didn't pick your calls after many attempts, the sensible thing for him to have done would be to send an SMS message or WhatsApp and introduce himself and his mission for calling. At that instance, if she doesn't respond, then he has no blame. But he didn't do that. And then the Governor himself was talking rubbish that they didn't inform them officially. So it is until they write letter to them before they know that they will come to the aid of the former sitting Governor that just vacated seat? No, it's too bad. Life is more than politics. They let politics becloud their sense of good reasoning and here they are today, trying to sell all kinds of damage control stories to the public to shift blame from their head. Kemi first broke the news, I'm sure most of the other governors that paid visits or sent condolences didn't get "officially informed", some of them would have heard through social media and then reached out to confirm if true or not. But Oyo government is waiting for official information. Let dem keep waiting forever. Mumu people
Ur not serious o.
When ur in trouble dont pick ur calls ok?

When pastors finally get excess money, they start going off lane. Some will even tell you they hold the keys to the gates of hell! Others will be practicing martial arts on their members as healing. Money is really the root of evil in the church.

By the way, obaseki has not done much in edo or benin to even deserve a win merit wise.

Politics › Re: Oshiomhole Accepts Dissolution Of APC NWC, Pledges Loyalty To Buhari by blowjohn(m): 4:03pm On Jun 27, 2020
tesppidd:
Buhari was very unfair to Oshiomole with his decision to dissolve the NWC.

He has asked everybody to withdraw their court cases but this is far from a political solution. A political solution would have sufficed.

This party can never be united again because Giadom and his camp are happy with the dissolution while Adams and his camp are unhappy about it.

When 2 kids fight for a toy and an adult takes it from them both, the real owner of the toy must feel agrievied while the kid who doesn't own the toy would feel happy and satisfied.

In finding a political solution what Buhari would have done is to realise that only about 7 out of over 20 ward members suspended Adams from his ward.
This singular act of injustice should have formed the basis of Buhari's decision.

He should have asked Giadom to withdraw his case against Adams based on the fact that he was suspended by only 7 people.

This should be the political solution since his aim was to take the cases off the courts.
I tell u.
Without oshiomole I doubt if Buhari would have won.
Oshiomole discarded Saraki too.
It was unfair to have treated him that way.
The obaseki people r shouting about, what has he even done for edo state? Nothing .

he really shouldn't have bothered to come out n say anything in response cuz Nigerians are hypocrites.

people who will gladly kiss ass with politicians who steal this nation's wealth and deify pastorpreneurs are not the best authority on morals n ethics.

the only thing freeze did wrong of which no one is perfect was his utterances during that video with hush.you guys are just pained cuz he says the truth about your tin gods so called pastorpreneurs.

Again am not surprised cuz this country is full of religious zealots.Daddy freeze will not be deterred by the rantings of brainwashed religious bigots n zealots .

Daddy freeze is a regular critic who likes run is mouth anyhow and showcase himself as a saint.
Anyone calling him out on this matter is very right in doing so.

The question u should ask urself is, is it possible that daddy freeze never suspected that hushpupy might be into dubious dealings?

I'm not a fan of bubu govt but this is the very first time bubu took a decisive decision, this is how a man and a leader should be.
Then, this useless govt, all they are after is their personal and selfish ambition. In the midst of their so called covid-19 instead of finding solution on how to restore the economy, all they are after is party position. The best thing or decision any youth can take now is to plan on how to japa from this useless country.
The way things is going I'm afraid it might be too late for countries to be accepting Nigerians.

Well, he probably was the first Nigerian chief electrical officer of the ECN. which while an important post, does not mean he was the 'father of electricity in Nigeria' as he did not originate electriticy in Nigeria, or invent electricty in Nigeria.

Good morning.
U and I know that being a father of something doesn't mean u invented or discovered something but more of that u set something off.
Would u say the father of modern nigeria or the father if democracy in Nigeria discovered nigeria or discovered democracy?

OP, not to be petty, but your man was not the father of electricty in Nigeria.

That would have been long before your 'father of electricity was born.

More information from this Covenat University lecture here (PDF)
From ur post, did u mention any human?
Argue with sense abeg.
Someone said the man is the father of electricity in nigeria, u argued he's not, yet didnt bring up any name.
Ur argument is like saying Michael faraday is not the father of electricity, but Winchester electricity company is.
