raumdeuter:Where in my post did I imply he is not the past immediate CDS? |

izzou:Political Office holders are literally turning themselves into Military administrators with the way they arbitrarily break the law and then turn back to claim they are being backed by the law in the decision they took. Imagine reversing C of O that was rightly issued on the premise the revocation is done in favor of overriding public interest when we all know the land will never be used to build a government hospital, airport, or housing estate . They will probably allocate the land to someone else and the people will continue as if the whole charade is lawful. Later these same people will tell u Military government is the worse that can ever happen to a nation. |
The fact that we all saw the 1-1 draw more as a loss and Chelsea fans saw the same result as a win definitely shows how far we've come as a team. We played the game without our regular CBs and Trossard our RW who has been smoking hot was out due to injury. That alone turned the tide or the clash immediately the team list was out. As much as we all love to see arsenal win 38 out of 38 matches, this Chelsea game is just a reminder that it won't happen. What is left now is for areta to devise a means to rotate the squad especially this busy December period with jam packed fixtures so we can amass the most points whether other teams win or drop points. It is only when Arteta and the team fail to do this that our criticism of the team will not be harsh and misplaced. The team played like 3 big matches within the space of few days and amassed 7 points out of possible 9. Kudos to them but they can do better. |
Akinbahm:Didn't go anywhere tho, I've always been here reading posts I just didn't have enough time to share my thoughts and do follow up posts. Been busy with family and personal development, I will definitely be posting more often now as time permits Sha |
dominique:I agree Eze should start on the left wing pending when Trossard will be back. Martinelli can always come on from 65 minutes upwards to give the attack a breath of fresh legs. Odegaard should be made to play AM as it's obvious Eze will need considerable amount of time to settle if he will ever excel in that role at Arsenal. I think Mosquera-Hincapie partnership got a baptism of fire in that Chelsea game. They will come good with time. The result is one we will all like to forget, but it's definitely not a bad result against a fellow London team that is sitting second on the log |
pkasso:It's a general African proverb that has its unique interpretation in different African cultures. |
afrodoc2:You think these people really care about number of Nigerians that die daily? Na wa for u o. Almost on a daily basis people get either kidnapped or killed by armed groups in different parts of the country. The authorities will be busy playing politics instead of coming up with measures to defend the defenseless citizens. Going by the reports one is seeing on Twitter, it looks like the country is already surrounded by armed groups scattered all over the unpoliced forests across the country and there's not much the security agencies can do other than being reactive instead of proactive combating of the insurgents. |
izzou:Well, let's wait and see if happen first Sha. For now, it looks like Musa's appointment is centered around good optics and not necessarily because his tenure as CDS was anything to write home about. The fact that he was sacked as CDS with years to serve lays credence to that. |
afrodoc2:Musa's potential appointment as minister for defence designate looks good for optics ; a Christian minister for defence at a time Christian genocide is a front burner topic. He's from Kaduna South; one of the Christian dominated part of the core north that has always been on the receiving end of targeted killings. I think there are two ministers of defence ; one is the junior and the other is senior. I don't know if Matawalle will defer to Musa or if it's the other way round, but I feel if the reason for this Bdadru sack is to reshape our defence strategy, then Matawalle too should have been sacked |

Emaprince:Well, nobody knows whatever story was relayed to the Americans that made them allow the kids into the country without their American passport nor their father's consent. Or maybe they got another country's passports for the kids that made the journey possible. Or maybe they forged the father's signature on their travel documents to make it look like he gave it consent. Well, it is the ex-wife and her family that really knows how they worked around the system sha. |
With the rate at which they are kidnapping people on the highways now, I wonder how people who always travel down to their villages in December will cope. Personally I would advise anybody that cares to listen to shelve travelling this December and hope things get better next year . |
Emaprince:That's why Dotun is calling out the woman who was American consular general in Nigeria when the incident happened. He believes Dbanj must have used his personal relationship with that woman to make that happen. He (Dotun) still have their American passport in Custody, so how they were able to travel without it still remains a mystery to him too. |
Theflint1:None of this justifies denying him access to the kids. They had a divorce case going on before the ex-wife ran off with their kids. Dotun is only facing all this because the ex-wife's family have means and influence. The shiiit the ex-wife pulled was what Davido tried to pull on his baby mama before Dele Momodu who equally has means and influence cornered him. If Sophia didn't have Dele in his corner, she would most likely be in Dotun's shoes today. Another evidence that Nigeria is a very anyhow country. |
iamoyindamola:This is the way to go. Even though I sense he will get a lawyer who would plead his case to ensure he gets a light sentence when he's found guilty, I still think this is a right move. Whatever the outcome of the case is, I am sure it will go a long way to caution him and save the members of the public future tragedy which may happen if he is not dealt with now. |
GloriousGbola:The fact that the kids are far away in America doesn't help matters at all sef. The kids will grow in the American society where their values are different and attachment to family isn't on the same level as what we have down here. Like u pointed out, they might be told untrue stories about him and they won't be motivated to look for him when they are all grown. |
izzou:This thing is easier said than to live with in reality, especially for someone who doesn't have other kids yet. Maybe when he moves on and have other kids he will be able to take the whole thing off his mind sha |
Omo! DBanj's family has really dealt with this Dotun OAP guy o. I don't know what happened in their marriage but I remember when the guy married DBanj's sister (Kayswitch's Taiwo), the news was everywhere back then; it was a celebrity talk-of-town-wedding that had the whole entertainment industry buzzing. Their wedding crashed after some years and Dotun has been crashing out for the past few years about how DBanj's family has made it impossible for him to have any relationship with his kids. The guy Don write petition tire, it just seem no matter how he tries to pull strings to have access to his kids, Dbanj uses his influence in high places to frustrate his effort. Dotun alleged his kids were relocated to America without his consent; the fact that he was in custody of their American passports diddn't deter the ex-wive from getting them a new one through the American consular general who happened to be an acquaintance of Dbanj. I don't know what Dotun did that makes his ex-wife and her families resent him this much, but I feel they should at least grant him access to his kids. I mean if there's no court case barring him from seeing the kids, then they owe him that access at least.

Altern8tor:We drew Sunderland that was more competitive than Chelsea and it didn't stop us from trashing Tottenham. Abeg rest and keep Ur lesson for Maresca. Let him beat those average teams like Brighton first before u go about lecturing other teams. |
MSGAMBLE9:As in.... I just tire. We both drop points and share one point each ; instead make he talk about how his team will go on to win other games he's worrying his head about arsenal that has not lost a game in a very long while. |
Altern8tor:I'm topping the league with 5 points. No sign of weakness bro; I'm still undefeated after that losperool loss earlier in this season. You should be worried more about Ur team that loses to any average team bro |
Altern8tor:U no go win Ur own matches first before u care about what happens to another team? 🤷♂️ |
lordfalcao:Whatever that means ; same to u. |
Arteta has zero blame in this game ; Hicanpie and Masquera made his job 100% difficult with their useless yellow cards and their jittery pattern of play. Rice dropping back to help those two was what stifled our attack and Made it impossible for us to take advantage of the 1 man advantage. Eze too has been hiding anytime he plays the 10 role. There was a sharp contrast in how he plays and how Odegaard played when he came on. Odegaard was always coming to receive the ball while Eze always hide behind his markers which makes it difficult for him to impact games. No be today Eze dey do that thing and that's why he's not made much impact in that 10 role bar the Bayern and City games he played those long passes. Eze needs to learn out to call for the ball in a good position; playing 10 is not the same as waiting on the wings for passes to seek u out |
It's quite obvious we can't afford to play a big game without either of Gabriel or Saliba in CB role. Masquera + Hincapie partnership is not ripe enough to play together yet. We regularly start our attack from the back; Masquera and Hincapie's immaturity/naivety made it difficult for us to start attack from the back most times. It just looks as if both of them don't know who needs to join attack and who needs to stay back to play the sweeper role. They made it difficult for rice to join attack to the extent that rice had to drop in between them to help them out. I hope either of Gabriel or Saliba will be available for our matches going forward. |
Zero regrets! We share the spoils away from home playing without our regular CBs👏 |
swiz123:Issokay! |
Goal ball jor! 😂 |
Arsenal! Arsenal! Arsenal! |
swiz123:The ref also didn't watch the game fairly despite the incident happening right on his front right? Keep up the delulu 👍 |
drisham:Exactly, the ball wasn't even going anywhere when it left Merino's legs. He's just too aggressive and wasn't giving it a thought that he may actually miss the ball. If he did, he wouldn't be too reckless with that tackle |
