I have watched him long enough to know that's the major issue we would have with him in an Arsenal shirt. For all his flair, he doesn't always track back like our other LW do.

With how dynamic Calafiori is, I expect Eze to really up his game. Playing on the left allow him to dictate and carefully make his decisions.
Yeah, I trust Eze to cook on the left once he plays in sync with Calafiori.

The only issue we may have with Eze on the left is if he doesn't track back like Trossard and Martinelli normally do. But I want to believe Arteta would've drilled him well enough to always track to help defence when we don't have the ball.

It is the husband that was not released that is the issue now. As this matter is getting too complicated and loud i hope the kidnappers won't cut their losses with him.
My fear too. Now that the whole business is out in the open, the kidnappers may be angry that Harrison and the victim's families wanted to play a fast one on them. They might just waste the man's life

I just got off the phone with Harrison Gwamnishu’s Lawyer. A lot has been said and done in real life investigation. Now, HARRISON’s CONFESSION👇🏽👇🏽

📌 That his modus operandi is to get a prototype look alike cash where he inserts the chip for tracking as our cash is too light to carry the chip.

📌 So before ransom is paid they remove a huge part of the money and replace it with the prototype money because the chip can only sit well on the fake money. The removed money will be given back to the family after a successful operation.

📌 That he did this in the presence of the family member who was in the room with him. Now, the family member was called to answer and he claimed that Harrison was backing him and so he didn’t see what he was doing…🙄 Hmmm na so Harrison back thick to occupy and cover all the space that you couldn’t see abi? Na God go judge you.🙄

📌 When he entered the bush at midnight to deliver the ransom the bandits were all wearing mask despite the fact that eveywhere was very dark they were pointing guns and touchlights at him and other victims family who also entered the bush with him to pay ransom for the release of their loved ones. There are other kidnapped victims who are in the custody of the bandits.

📌 After he gave them the ransom only the the Pregnant Woman was released to him and the man was begging for forgiveness from his younger brother according to him he was saying that his brother should forgive him. Remember that this couple were kindnapped from their home…. Could it be an insider jobhuh🤷🏻‍♀️ It was this same brother that first raise the alarm that the money was not complete. 1+1=🤡

📌 After the operation they went to the police station in Auchi to give report. Harrison when confronted about the money hesitated to tell them about his modus operandi, but when the family started threatening him, he told them and the police how he operates and he was asked to bring the money… He went to his hotel room took the money he kept aside and handed it over to the police in Auchi, Edo State that same day before leaving the town.

📌 Harrison begged that none of this should enter social media until after the man had been released but shockingly, the family went on social media and the dragging started. They claimed he was on the run and his car was seized by the police.

📌 Harrison then made a rebuttal to state that no money was taken (he didn’t go into details), his car was not seized by the police but rather he left his car there for safety as the people were already threatening him and he didn’t want them to trail him and injure him on his way home.

📌 Harrison went on his own to SCID EDO COMMAND at Benin city for further investigation and the police there brought out the money and made him act like he was returning it so they can snap him and which they did🤦🏻‍♀️ A Money he had returned in Auchi voluntarily suddenly became a tool of amusement for them.

📌 After that, they prepared a search warrant claiming that they searched his hotel room at Auchi and recovered the money and were forcing him to sign the warrant and he refused. Now after 48 hours of the hand over they want him to sign a warrant that I was them that recovered the money. At that point his Lawyer vehemently refused him signing that warrant and he was locked up in the police cell.

📌 The 14 days remained that is flying on social media by propagandist NEVER HAPPENED.

📌 Harrison inserted a chip inside a prototype money that was mixed with the ransom paid for the release of the pregnant woman and according to him, the chip is still very active cos from his system he can still see where the kidnappers are and he is willing to assist the police track the bandits down and release the Man.

📌 But instead of talking about how to go into the bush and face the bandits, they are all focused on Harrison. The #5.4m is with the police so why can’t the police or the family of the man go into the bush to rescue the manhuh

On my own i will advise Harrison to not enter that bush again. He should allow the police do their work.
I understand the bad blood between him and some powers that be and competitors in the game and thats why the whole thing is looking somehow and he is being judged by his past ugly shortcomings.

However, person no dey bad finish and so i will hang on to the one good Harrison has done in his life and until a court of competent jurisdiction finds him guilty… i will not throw him under the bus.

It’s very shameful that a private citizen is the one who interfaces with bandits while the police sits in their office. The family be playing with their brother’s life.

NB: This is a first hand account of what i gathered from Harrison’s lawyer this Beautiful Saturday morning. Thank You🙏

The whole thing Don turn conspiracy theory. The family of victims get their theory and Harrison get him own theory.

.

Too many sharks outside!
This is exactly my concern too. How does a private citizen without any military or security training background just suddenly walk up to security agencies and joins them for tactical rescue operations just like that?

There are a whole lot of things wrong and a host of things that could still go wrong with that arrangement. The guy gets exposed to security officials' intelligence despite not being a trained security agent. Who knows what he can do with some of the intelligence he gets exposed to?

There's also the danger of him getting killed Irrespective of whether he wears body Armour or not.

Another concern is when he joins the security agents to track down the kidnappers, do they hand him a firearm or he goes into the bush without being armed like the security agents with him?

Then there's always the temptation of taking out of the ransom for his "struggles" considering there is no reward system out there that will compensate him for spending days in the bush trying to track down kidnappers. Except if the families of the kidnap victims promise him a professional fee for his service.

No matter how u look at it, the whole arrangement just seem untidy and open to serious manipulation

Exactly. I'm actually concerned that he's putting his life at risk despite not having military training or any special security training with firearms.

Then you being to wonder what could be his motivation and what is in it for him to be risking his life that way. Is it that he just love seeing people in captivity freed without him getting anything but praise in return?

There's a guy on SM. His name is Harrison. He assists the security agencies in catching Kidnappers and rescuing the victims. He's very active on Facebook, and he's like a hero there

So apparently, a man and his wife was kidnapped. The family reached out to Harrison, of which he became the intermediary between the kidnappers and the family

The kidnappers requested for money sha (can't remember), but the family raised 20 million, and gave Harrison to deliver. Harrison come remove 5.4 million, and delivered the rest.

So the kidnappers released only the wife, and said the money wasn't complete

Na one of the relatives come SM to call him out. VDM later confirmed that he did it, and he has been arrested

There is no alternative method

Methinks she wants the funds handed over to her and her family. So in the event she doesn't make it, the family will utilize the funds as they so wish.

Why her case is annoying to me is that she cares much about what her religious denomination will do to her is she takes the blood transfusion ( they will disfellowship her) rather than take the blood transfusion, undergo chemo and beat cancer.

Yet her religion people didn't donate funds to her to treat her through the so called alternative method.

I'm not blaming the general public that raised funds for her o, it's the organizers of the fund raising that I said would use this as lesson.

A doctor was involved in the fund raising effort, maybe he could have found out exactly what was happening with her current treatment plan and through that would have known how they'd proceed. It might not be nice to blame them, but I'm sure they too in their quite corners would know to do due diligence next time.
I hope you know that she said she was willing to do everything the hospital require her to do before they started fundraising for her?

Recall she had initially treated herself the traditional way at Calabar sometimes around the middle of the year. It was when she wasn't getting better she came out and declared she was willing to do everything they require from her.

The truth is she's not a straightforward person who wants to enjoy the benefits of being popular on social media but unwilling to let go of her archaic religious beliefs. She's more conceen D about being disfellowshipped than for her to get well and beat cancer.

I don't see how long and why the fundraisers should get any blame at all. In fact, I hope those guys can channel the funds raised thus far to treatment of any other sick person.

Before they made the donation to her, it was in the open that she was treating the cancer through unconventional means...why they didn't make an attempt to find out why she was doing that instead of going to the hospital like every other normal person is on those that raised funds for her.

The fund raisers were doing a good thing, and this is a blindspot most persons would miss in the eagerness to save her, but I'm pretty sure before they ask the public to raise funds for the next person, they'd ask one or two questions to be sure it won't be a labour in vain.
This idea of blaming people for being kindhearted and humane is not good at all. When it was being said that she's treating herself through unconventional means, the believe was that she probably didn't have the financial muscle to foot the bill for cancer treatment in a standard specialist hospital.

Now turning around and blaming people who raised the funds for her to be able to treat herself well just doesn't sit down well with me.

It makes no sense for anybody to be expected to ask for the religion of a sick person before lending helping hand.

But no be today Jehovah witnesses begin get this their faith na, will she now abandon her faith because funds were raised for her?

I guess this is a lesson for those organizing these fund raising, make sure the people they're raising for are not fans of unconventional health practices/doctrines.
Which kind talk be this? If she cares so much about her faith above her health, why can't she just keep mum and suffer the ill-health without asking members of the public for help with medical bills?

In what world did she think she will get treated without having to do blood transfusion at one point or the other ?

See there's no lesson here for those that organized the fund raising. If I contributed to the pool and I hear this nonsense about her faith I will most likely request for refund of my money because it seems she's not ready to fight and survive cancer. I won't want my money to be wasted over someone that doesn't want to get saved. She can as well use her faith to heal herself

What religion will do to people in this country ehn..... 🤦‍♂️

This aunty Esther on NG Twitter is a popular market woman who is always placing advert under people's posts whether na political discussion, people fighting over tribal sentiments or even misognyst vs Feminazi discussions.

She's currently down with cancer and kind hearted NG twitter community members had to crowd-fund for her treatment.

She's supposed to take blood transfusion as part of her treatment before the chemo starts, but she's declined taking transfusion because she's a Jehovah witness (her faith forbids blood transfusion). They said she's opting for other alternatives which will take longer and cost more because of her unwillingness to take blood transfusion.

Imagine someone whose medical bills was crowd funded still saying because of her religions faith she won't take blood transfusion but would rather explore a more expensive option on top people's donation o.

I don't even know how I feel about the whole thing sef.

I don't think what Arteta asked him to do suits his game. Look at all his goals in UCL. Martinelli is a wide forward and not a touchline winger. Trossard is a bit of both. That's why most fans prefer Trossard on the wing. Jesus is also a better winger than Martinelli.

If we have someone with Ozil's vision in the team who can spot runs, Martinelli and even Gyokeres will score goals.
More reason why Arteta should stick to using Martinelli as a second half sub who should come in to stretch the tired legs of opposition defenders when we need to close games. His speed can always be useful either in counter or setting him up for a run. But expecting the other forward players to always look out for him to spot runs in the early part of matches is not a good game plan at all; it will limit what we can achieve as a team. I don't think it is wise to tweak the team's pattern because of one player.

As for Gyokeres, if he doesn't help himself by being in the right place at the right time, nobody else can help him. He also needs to start converting the few chances that falls onto his path if he wants other players to trust him with passes especially when the other players feel they have a chance at scoring too. They won't just pass to him because he wears number 14 even when they see he is not in direct line to goal.

I really don't care whether a player scores 40 goals or 10 players score 4 goals each. All I care about is for us to score goals and win matches. I noticed some fans are sentimentally attached to some of these players, me I'm not.

Riccardo Calafiori!

In the Premier League this season, Riccardo Calafiori has averaged 1.83 shots per 90. That is more than Mikel Merino, Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard and just shy of Gabriel Martinelli’s 1.89 per 90. The average distance of the Italian’s shots is 14 yards, so these are not speculative efforts.

According to fotmob, 10 of his 22 Premier League shots have been with his right foot and five have been with his head, so there is plenty of variety in how he looks to find the target. Around 1/3 of his attempts have been on his left foot, it is highly unusual for a defender to take so many shots at goal and even more unusual for around two thirds of a left-footed player’s attempts to not be taken with their south paw.
Calafiori is currently treading that very fine line between being an agent of chaos in attack, a solid defender who can recover into space and offer aerial prowess at both ends of the pitch into the bargain.

He has a penchant for getting to the edge of the penalty area just left of centre, chopping the ball back onto his right foot and shooting.

The pleasant surprise this season has not only been Calafiori’s fitness record (for now…) but the sense of defensive security he has given Arsenal. His 3.11 tackles and interceptions per 90 is only marginally behind Jurrien Timber’s 3.81 and Timber is, rightly, considered a world class one-on-one defender who isn’t tasked with leaving his post as often as Calafiori.

He has won 60% of his aerial duels this season, marginally less than Timber’s 61.8% (Gabriel is on 65% with Zubimendi on 70%). His 4.55 ball recoveries per 90 is only bettered by Lewis-Skelly (4.67) from Arsenal’s defenders. Defensive data only gives you a snapshot of course because it is biased towards events, your eyes tell you that the Italian is solid, imposing and when the opponent switches the ball to his side, you rarely see him floundering out of position.

HE HAS BEEN SOLID THIS SEASON!
No lies detected! Calafiori's performance has been quite impressive this season. That Bayern match in which he came on to neutralize Olise's threat on the left wing really solidifies the argument that Calafiori has been in great form this season.

In fact, I feel Bayern may not have scored that goal if it were to be Calafiori that was shadow marking when that Lahm long pass was played.
