it is what it is, and it is 101% fked up
all this talk about banning jerrycans, stopping people with jerrycans in their cars, is about curbing smuggling.
quite literally they are doing diversion in stations.
black marketers come with 5 to 10 50 litre jerrycans even when there is no scarcity Is it under APC that smuggling started ? Since I was in primary school smugglers have always existed . APC is just a party that blames everything and everyone for its self inflicted woes. They have blamed people , blamed things and even blamed God. 🤦♂️ If smuggling is the problem , isn’t it expected that they give the agency responsible for curbing smuggling ( customs) an ultimatum to reduce smuggling to the barest minimum ? Why do they always think everybody is daft to believe all these their mumbo jumbo excuse for incompetence ? |

Some of those who support this government in the shabbish way they removed the fuel subsidy will be kicking themselves now because of how gullible they were to have believed Tinubu and his aristocratic government.
A government that claimed the only way to curb smuggling fuel across border is to remove subsidy completely and that was what Tinubu did on his fist day in office.
Over the months, evidence suggested the government still paid subsidy but people already baptized in the emilokan River kept insisting and defending subsidy is gone forever.
Several months after, the government they spent quality time defending it's lies goes ahead to confirm subsidy still exists but has been baptized and given new names like under-recovery, shortfall, etc.
Now the same government is saying to further curb the smuggling activities they were supposed to have curbed earlier ; they need to sell fuel over 1k per liter . 🤦♂️

Spy360: The discussion was on the consistency of the referee decision My initial post u quoted was me addressing a fan who claimed not to have seen what Rice did wrong. Nothing concern me with ref consistency ; it's an external factor which we have no control over. The best we can do is for our players to be at their best behavior so that we won't be on the receiving end of decisions that we begin to question. |

We shouldn't be only looking at Rice but also the ref Go and read my post again. I already said u can fault the ref for his mistakes in other part of officiating that day, but he's not wrong sending Rice off. Rice asked for it and he got served. Simple! |

If Rice had walked away from the free kick spot, all these shalayes won't be necessary. You're the one making a mistake. Osimhen signed a deal with Napoli so that they can allow him to leave next summer transfer.
OSIMHEN CLEARLY STATED "I DON'T WANT TO PLAY FOR YOU NEXT SEASON".
why are you blaming Napoli, the player made his choice and you're blaming the club for honouring his choice. Lol Please post a link to the bold let me read and learn. We learn everyday |

kingBolton: Like I said in when I quoted you days back.. Most of them on this board are looking at this deal with a blue tinted glass.
Osimhen a 25 yr old striker in his prime, an age where most footballers sign the biggest contract of their career and they want him to reduce his salary.
This is not even the Chelsea of old that guarantees him trophy or competes at the highest level, so what does he gets in return for agreeing to a pay cut?
Even scrubs that moves from Italian seria a to PL gets a pay raise but they want the African footballer of the year and balon dor number 8 to take a pay cut, pay cut to come and play in the conference league.
This same player had a contract agreed with PSG, if not for Napoli's uselessness Chelsea will not even be in the running for him. The funny thing is it's not just Chelsea fans alone sef; there are Nigerians who don't like Osimehn's guts, there are Nigerians who are disappointed with his performance at AFCON and then there are those who don't like how he handled his spat with Finidi George. All these people form econet on top this Osimehn transfer saga begin troll am as if he's the first player to have a botched transfer saga. I'm sure if the player involved was not named Osimehn, most people would've been objective enough to see that Napoli sef na one kind yeye club. A club that can't really pint out to one reasonable reason why they are hell-bent on driving their best player away less than a year after giving him a bumper contract in reward for his service to them. |

EmmanuelScott1: Oga sterling dey your club, are you guys not paying half of his salary?
Osimhen agent said "no loan", and now he's accepting a loan.
Galatasaray that want to sign him on loan now, Napoli will pay some of Osimhen wages.
The paycut salary Chelsea offered is because Chelsea second offer included a loan and obligation to buy which is left for Chelsea to discuss his wages with him and Napoli won't any hand in his wages anymore.
Osiii his friend oshoala, if e sure oshoala that she's saying the truth, make she drop the conversation with Osimhen.
Ridiculous offer, why don't she disclose that ridiculous offer, make I believe her pass Fab.
So since the offer Chelsea offered no suit him, why didn't he accept Saudi offer. Summary of everything u've written here is Emotions, Emotions and Emotions. No two loans/deals are one and same. The fact that u are I are jumping into conclusions based on Sterling's situation is enough to show I are discussing a topic u don't have a full details about. The real question is " who runs a club like Napoli owners do?" You give ur star player an improves contract in December 2023 and by August 2024 u want to bundle him out at all cost? Why? Because u feel u need to sell him to buy more players even if he's not interested in his suitors. Smh It's funny how it's Nigerians that should be having his back that are his own antagonists

EmmanuelScott1: You don't understand how loan works. Sterling is on loan at arsenal, and Chelsea is covering half of his wages. Osimhen agent said "no loan". If Osimhen accepted the loan offer from Chelsea, the salary he's earning in Napoli will still be intact. How it's payed will be Chelsea and Napoli matter.
The paycut was when Chelsea included obligation to buy because his agent rejected the initial dry loan offer. U are just analyzing what u have no full picture of. People like Asisat Oshoala who are Close to the player spoke about how ridiculous Chelsea's offer was. I don't know if it's the disappointment of him not joining Chelsea that is making some of u guys troll him or what exactly. Most of u guys are not Seeing Napoli for what they are ; a poorly run club that always end up selling their top talents for crumbs after initial shakara. That was the same they did With Koulibaily

Spy360: You're ignoring the fact that Veltman threw the ball into Rice's path from behind him. You are also not accepting that the ref overreacted. And then that the ref wasn't consistent because twice in the same game Brighton players did similar things and were not cautioned.
I will not like you to be my brother. You will blame me for every fight I get into. Rice is a professional footballer, the rules are the rules. If u obstruct a free kick it is a yellow card; this is not about sentiments. You can fault the ref for not penalizing a Brighton player for similar offence but it doesn't take away the fact that Rice committed a bookable of fence. Rice did absolute nonsense with that singular act. It's not like Veltman will score directly into our goal post if Rice had allowed him play the free kick. The crazy thing in all of this is that Rice was even attempting a useless dribble before Veltman gained the ball which led to Rice fouling him resulting in the controversial free kick. |

Jodera: I don't remember anybody here not happy with him for diving. Perhaps opposition fans maybe.
The only one we were aggrieved against his diving (esp I) was against Neuer cos that diving was all shades of poor dive(leaving the ball and jumping into Neuer leg). Esp when it's a one on one chance (and not 50/50 ball) that would have put us ahead.
Aside that, I don't know or remember anyone not happy with him for diving Diving is not something u should be blaming a player for not doing well. Diving itself is a punishable offence in football; It can always go against us . Let him just play his normal game abeg and let's take our chances when they present themselves. |

Jodera: Tbh, Saka should learn how to dive and he should be good at it while doing it(if that's what he really wants)
When Havertz played that big chance and it rebounded to saka, a Brighton defender recklessly slided through to Saka but he evaded it. That's exactly the kind of ones he should be looking to initiate contact with and fall down not all those ones he was doing (esp against Bayern). See how Havertz did his own against Bournemouth last season.
I knew how I smh immediately Saka evaded that tackle esp in that situation(when there were so many bodies around the goal side) Arsenal fans are difficult to please. Last season Saka was diving and I remember some of us were not happy with him. |
