This camera angle is everything ![]() Just look at Arteta and Jover standing side by side before that Everton cornerkick that led to Dowman's goal. Arteta tapped Jover to do his thing ![]() Arteta's celebration was priceless ; it's giving the vibe of : We are here to prove the doubters wring this season. https://x.com/mohqoshin/status/2032969213179031698?s=46 |
Suddenly nobody is saying arsenal will bottle the league in April, Arsenal will bottle the league in May.... blah....blah. |
iamoyindamola:Baba this what was I was trying to say that day. Most of these EPL teams will play low block against us making it difficult for us to score through open play goals. They hope while we are trying to force their defence open by putting more men in attack, we will make mistake and then they will capitalize on it to score us then go back to their low block. Thank God for Jover and Arteta who came up with the set piece option which has allowed us to score these yeye teams despite their low blocks. It's the frustration that arsenal still manages to win despite these teams' low block that is making rival fans and pundits nag about our set piece goals. They want to see us lose so bad and started the campaign about how arsenal is boring....blah...blah. That's why I said we arsenal fans should not indulge them by giving Arteta and the coaching crew the stick for scrapping out a win through corner kick goals. If u notice when we play in the UCL we are always fluid and we don't struggle to score our opponents (except that Leverkusen match which I think may be due to fatigue). The teams come out to play and we ball them hard including Bayern, Inter Milan, Athletico, etc. Na EPL dem go force us to use the set piece option due to their low block and they will turn back to accuse us of being boring |
daveP:MKe Una calm down ó. Which one is risk it with 7 games to go and we are not yet assured of winning the league? If na u, will u suddenly introduce youngster like Dowman and an erratic Lewis-Skelly into the starting line-up at this stage when pressure is mounting on us towards the final lap of the season? I support the idea of having Dowman come in like he did yesterday in matches we need fresh legs and creativity like yesterday. I don't support him coming on in a game like Brighton or any other game we needed to hang on a thread to see the game off. I believe the use of these players should be needs-based and not just emotionally based because yesterday's game outcome. This is our most important football season in a very long time and I will hate to see it ruined because the coach decided to risk It all when he didn't need to. |
Dowman you 4cking legend ! 😂😂😂 |
mostob:E Don do am my bro. Haters can go and die! |
Their father! Gyokeresssss! 🤩🤩🤩 |
I just watched 45 mins of Brighton vs Sunderland and it ended 0-0. Anybody that heard that stewpid Brighton manager crashing out against Arsenal would think his team was Leicester of 2015/2016 season that was gunblazing. Nonsense! |
raumdeuter:I've seen different people having a whole lot to say about Oyedepo owned organizations/institutions, but this one shock me Sha. At least they for respect the academic degree the guy carry to pay something reasonable. No wonder some of those guys go to countries like Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, South Africa, etc to take lecturing Jobs instead of naija. We are left with all those old school lecturers in naija |
larride:Well, I don't know how well theg are paid in federal or state owned versities but I know that while I was in school some of our lecturers left government work to join some of these private universities. That's why I'm thinking perhaps it's the better pay that made them dump government varsities for private ones. |
raumdeuter:What full story again na? He already showed he has outstanding 37k monthly liability described as advance. In his subsequent tweets he explained the 37k is repayment for his PhD fees he's owning the management. That means if he wasn't owing that 37k he would be earning 170k which is still poor for someone who holds a PhD. Some graduate trainees earned more than that 2 years ago |
iamoyindamola:But public universities don't pay better too. That's why ASUU is always going on strike now. I think they just don't pay Lecturers and teachers well in this country |
Emaprince:Omo! Even anybody wey no go beyond secondary wey fit operate phone and drive car will earn more than that as bolt driver in a month. On top that money the lecturer will teach classes, set exams, mark tests, mark exam scripts, record student's performance and still try to do research so he can publish articles on journals. |
iamoyindamola:He said the so called advance is the deductions for his PhD ( most likely he run his PhD programme while he was already a staff there). So let's say he didn't owe them that 37k and it is added back to the 133k, that means he would've earned 170k net which is still very very poor. How can they pay someone who has the highest educational qualification in academics 170k per month for him to be imparting knowledge to build future leaders? I'm very sure some student's monthly allowance in that school pass 200k as at that 2024 sef. |
I used to think private universities pay lecturers better than government owned universities, seeing this Convenant university payslip of a PhD holder as at 2024..... Omo! It's best to say lecturers are generally poorly paid in Nigeria.

[quote author=OkpaNsukkaisBae post=138765604]This is the American soldier who disclosed the location of US troops unknowingly. His name is Blake Poffenberger. u mentioned me, maybe u will answer the question on behalf of darlington and try to make his logic make sense to us. Iran hit hotels in UAE, hit refineries in Saudi Arabia and other non military/ Non-US embassy /Non -US base locations in the gulf. How many US troops did they kill/wound in the aforementioned places? |
Realmrsean:Just look at this boy. You posted a screenshot that says US defence personnel was injured in an Iranian drone attack on a Bharian hotel and you use that to make an assumption that US troops are hiding in Palm Jumeirah, aiprots and resort areas in the gulf? Omo! Na me 4ck up sef. I supposed Don know say to the one who is with hammer, everything he comes across will begin to look like a nail. The way Una dey run agenda with any one matter to |
Realmrsean:This doesn't even make sense one bit! 🤮 How many American troops were killed in any of the hotels and high rise building targeted by Iranian missiles. I really hope u don't believe this nonsense u type because.... Omo! How many American troops are in the Airports and tourists destinations the Iranians have hit in the gulf states? You can be honest with yourself by conceding the Persians just want to ruin the tourism prospects of the gulf nations as a means to have them mouth pressure on their American allies to cease hostility against the Iranians ; but claiming it's because their are American troops in places like Burjh Khalifa hence why they targeted it makes no sense to any reasonable person. He said America has interest in oil fields and oil infrastructures that's why they are attacking it. Smh. So na American government own Aramco àbí? |
Sportsweb:The delulu dey always amaze me 😂 The same Ayatollah who was hiding inside mountain during 12 days war few months back for fear of being bombed to hades suddenly wants himself martyred now. A smart person would ask : "What changed?" Person wey dem kill like fowl and it took the terrorists days to finally announce his inglorious death, dem say he wants to be martyred and slow people swallowed the lamba. 🤩 Take these people serious at Ur own peril |
NRGC peniiis cap Wan peel; See better fapping with assumption and "kanipe" analysis everywhere 😂 Must be really nice using torchlight to look for just anything to celebrate in a war already claimed the life of so called supreme leader we were once told cannot be taking out because the jews don't want the smoke |
iamoyindamola:I understand how we clear unoccupied lands lying fallow and converting it to football pitch while we were younger. But how somebody will just go to an unoccupied land, clear it and erect a church on it without anybody challenging him for years is what I don't really think is clear. I want to believe the incident happened in either Ogun state, Oyo State or Lagos State. Lands are valuable in those 3 states and people will not just go to sleep while on pastor will decide to build on a land he doesn't own nor got expressed permission from the owner. E no really clear. |
iamoyindamola:I'm patiently waiting for what they will center his re-election campaign on. Maybe they will say continuity of the misery he has afflicted over 120 million people living below poverty line with ni, or that he will solve the insecurity issue has grown leaps and bounds under his administration. We already know he has failed on most of his first term campaign promises like bringing fuel price and providing stable electricity. So how his supporters will convince the people and those ones will gullibly re-elect him will say a lot about us as Nigerians. It will definitely make a statement about how Nigerians are not as smart as they claim to be (particularly the educated ones amongst us) |
Ẹ lọ fọkàn balẹ̀, a ma gbe wálẹ̀ ![]()
Anytime I see people saying they are going to vote Tinubu in 2027 blah....blah....blah I dey always smile in amusement Sha. |
Broda Shaggy allegedly shot at Sango Ota while shooting a skit yesterday.?
|
iamoyindamola:The story no clear. How did the Church start using the land without being the owners? Did they lease the land? If yes, how come they built a structure on it and started worshipping there? Who are the original owners of the land? |
DeadPresidents:Na wa o... How do they run a public institution like that? Here I am thinking since Kaduna has both Christian and Muslim population in huge numbers , public instittions like this will allow for students to dress moderately and not taking things to the extreme like the lady alleged in the video. How Christians and irreligious people take dey cope for that state sef? |
GloriousGbola:It's a government owned polytechnic (KadPoly) according to the lady in the video. There must be some religious fanatic somewhere making these decisions and trying to enforce it on all students. Hopefully the school management will do the right thing to rescind the order cos most of the ladies in the video are not inappropariately dressed. If dem come see weting students in Unilag, Yabatech, Laspotech and Lasu dey wear, wetin dem go do? Shey dem no go cut their hands off ? |
Realmrsean:Darlington no dey use this brain in Ur day to day activities o. Can you just imagine ir logic? 🤦♂️ Just imagine someone says because u were doing yahoo yahoo, u deserve the robbery incident u experienced and that the robbers should've even kpai Ur family members in the course of the robbery incident 🤷♂️. You are literally saying a military professor deserves to die on American soil beacuse of Trump's administration military action in Iran. Na wa o. Una dey carry this anti-west rhetoric go far gan o |
Spy360:I didn't hear the part she spoke about fasting as the reason for change in dress code. If that's indeed the Case, then the school management need to address the issue. Those ladies are not dressed inappropriately, so there's no reason why anybody should ask them to start wearing burqa in a state that has both Christian and Muslim population. |
DissTroy:Alternate joy Wan wound them 😂 |
|
Some of these guys' actions are giving legitimacy to Trump's campaign against immigrants who are either convicted felons or those who got convicted of minor offences. Imagine if Trump's ICE has rounded this Sierra Leonean up and schedule him for deportation in 2024 after serving time for collaboration with ISIS ; Most people would've thought Trump was being unfair deporting a veteran of the US army. But today the guy has taken the life of an Army officer/instructor and wounded others in a Jihadist attack.
