Theflint1:I don’t know what point you are trying to make with the gibberish the guy in the video is saying , but anybody involved in the barbaric act needs to be attested and the state government/local government has a lot of questions to be answered . That’s not a damn culture but outright breaking of the law that needs to be addressed with people getting locked up for years . Simple ! |
iamoyindamola:Good ! People must be made to answer for the barbarism |
andrewbaba44:Dr Lavia 😂 |
afrodoc2:As in..:…. Imagine someone growing with such mentality . Na people like that Dey quick enter Sanko for sexual harassment when they travel abroad . I recently read about a young promising Nigerian footballer that was locked up in one of those Scandinavian countries ( I’m not sure if it was Norway , Denmark or Sweden ) . After hustling years in Nigeria and even played one of those age grade competitions for the Nigeria before he finally got the international transfer only for him to end his career for a sexual offence |
Theflint1:You are missing the point here . Have you checked the post on FP about this so called festival ? Girls and women were reportedly raped, molested, and assaulted by youths in Ozoro Kingdom, the headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area in Delta State, SaharaReporters has learned. This gives a vibe that the incident is peculiar to this particular town called Ozoro. It’s more like their own traditional festival as barbaric as it is. It’s a culture that has no place in modern society . That we have groping happening at Covenant university does not mean a town should have a festival that allows women to be r.apped for coming out during a festival . |
Sportsweb:They are living their best life in the west while NRGC Dey here dey talk trash about the west wey IRGC Dey chop the life of their hand 😂 Wonders shall never cease ! |
Theflint1:Yes , it’s supposed to mean something . If they claim the barbaric act is a festival which they observe in the town , the fact that a government institution is situated there should’ve made them put a stop to it a long time ago . At least down here in the southwest I’ve heard of communities that phased out some traditional rituals because of the presence of government owned institution which actually brings development to such town . It just takes the school’s SUG to make noise enough to get state government’s attention and the commissioner of local government & chieftancy matters will sack the town’s traditional ruler . Students really get power o . |
afrodoc:Omo ! No be small thing . Imagine any of those boys running around trying to r.ap.e the ladies growing up to join politics and become a lawmaker . Such person will always vote against any anti-r.ap.e bill in parliament |
iamoyindamola:And to think there’s actually a government owned higher institution in the town sef . 🤦♂️ I thought the thing was Twitter banger boys making the story up until I saw different people in the comment section confirming it to be true. One guy even said he did his ND and HND at the government owned polytechnic and although when he was in school the barbaric festival took place in ghe town each year. Honestly it's an indictment on the Delta state government if indeed the festival has been happening yearly till now that it got national attention. Dem supposed suspend the traditional ruler of that town sef. |
paiporte:What The Helllllll ! 😲😲😲 What in the name of barbarism is this ? Is the Delta state government aware of this so called festival ? |
daveP:There’s nothing big in the shoes of a player who is almost always not fit enough to see us challenge for a league . He’s always out in the most crucial stages of different seasons . Zubi is doing more than filling Partey shoes by being available when we need him. When we eventually win the league , everyone will remember Zubi as one of the most important players along with Rice , Gabriel , Saliba and Raya who featured constantly all through the season to ensure we end our years of trophyless . Talks like “Partey’s shoes are too big for Zubi to fit “ will have no meaning to anyone when they see him lifting the EPL trophy |
Emaprince: ![]() |
daveP:Nobody is saying Partey is not a good player , but so also is Zubimedi not mediocre . They are both great players , just that Zubi is more reliable because he’s always available when we need him. Simple ! When you start invoking nostalgia to say “ Partey and Eze for cook wetin no good “ in a season that Zubi’s availability has kept us going , then one needs to point it out that u are overhyping him beyond what he did for us on the pitch . We are talking about actual performance and not potential bro . We don’t deal on “ What could’ve been” here , we talk based on what we saw on the pitch with our naked eyes. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:What the 4ck is u saying ? Did this gibberish u posted just now mention anything about the refinery getting hit by direct “cluster warhead “ like u posited earlier ? How did what Open Source post about IDF not intercepting some missiles equate to “ The Haifa refinery was hit by direct cluster warhead ? “ …… Na wa o. Right there in the post they even pointed it out to u that it’s people who don’t shelter that got killed from those cluster bombs they chose not to intercept . For a smart person , it’s easy to draw inference that missiles directed at key infrastructure like the Haifa refinery will be intercepted which explains why debris from the interception is what is responsible for the fire you Dey use mouth spread ![]() I hope you don’t draw inference like u are doing on this matter in real life sha…… because…. Omo ! I can only imagine what ur decision making will look like . |
[quote author=OkpaNsukkaisBae post=138824981]No dey listen to IDF propaganda channels. I don tell you this thing many times. Watch the video, u will see Iranian cluster warheads hitting targets. Not falling missile debris fact that I wasted half a minute to watch this and kept looking at the red circle to see the so called cluster warheads hitting the refinery multiple times and didn’t see jack shiiit 🤡🤡🤡🤡 Person wey get refinery say their refinery no suffer direct hit, u wey Dey NRGC for here insist otherwise Shebi you claim the refinery supplies 60% of Israeli oil , one would expect Israel to experience fuel scarcity in the coming days if the refinery.was rendered destroyed as you claimed . I’m sure when that fails to happen , n will move on to another talking point for your NRGC people to swallow |
a4turitoroman: DissTroy:It’s amusing to watch seeing both of them try to out-perform each other doing the NRGC work…. ![]() |
According to Sean and Okpa Israel’s biggest refinery was hit by Iranian missiles 🤡🤡🤡
|
drisham:As Popi no Dey watch match , it’s easy for him to fall for cooked up stats ![]() |
iamoyindamola:It was always frustrating seeing him get injured at critical part of the season while he was with us. Partey’s quality was never in doubt , but his availability was always the issue and Zubi gave us that this season with important goals to back it up |
MorataFC:They institutionalize begging/extortion and one would do well to oblige them except u want them to waste ur time |
daveP:You guys overhype Partey and I don’t think he did enough for Arsenal to deserve such . Agreed he’s a quality player who handles the midfield role well , but He was almost always injured when the team needs him most . He is similar to Chelsea’s Reece James whom the fans agree is a good player but his injury woes would not allow the club enjoy him to the fullest . If Arsenal had kept Partey this season , there’s no 100% assurance he would stay fit long enough like Zubimendi has done . Zubi enjoyed a very good first half of the season that kept our title hopes alive and I will give him that credit . He’s not enjoyed much flawless performance in the second half of the season which may be due to fatigue but I remember 2023 season Partey made some mistakes too that affected us in the latter part of the season ( I think one of such matches was the Southampton match that Walcott scored ) . I don’t like the idea of saying “ Partey and Eze for cook wetin no good for our rivals “ as if Partey didn’t play with quality players when he was with us and we ended up not winning the league . It gives vibe of overhyping trust me . Let’s just acknowledge the contribution of the players to where we currently are . |
Silentgroper:When Arsenal was facing Inter Milan , Bayern and Athletico Mdraid in the group stage were you not alive ? |
izzou:Lolz 😂 No mind them , we like to joke a lot in this country . Almost everyone who drives in this country knows that police checkpoints are revenue generating venture , not necessarily a security measure . My own personal experience , nowadays when I drive either on major roads or internal roads , I would meet police checkpoints, they would flag me down to park and it will always end in they asking “anything for the boys “ Just this last Sunday they stopped me ; when I wind the glass down the officer saw baby car seat at the back . The next thing he said was “ Oga how is the baby ? “ (In his mind he is smart and can guess I have a baby for me to have baby car seat installed ), I smiled and said “ He’s fine “. The next thing he said was “ Happy Sunday sir. If at all, make your boys drink minerals na. “ . I smiled , gave him 1k and he flaggged me to carryon. While I was on my way , I thought what if I was a notorious criminal and I had a body at the back of my vehicle ? Is that how they would take 1k and allow me to go without even making any security check ? Chai ! Nigeria police just want to collect money at checkpoints and their ogas know . That yeye oga inside the video just Dey shoot content |
Amigoos1:Apples and oranges /False equivalence |
StarchAndBanga:You can’t award a win ! A win is secured on the pitch and it is confirmed by the ref’s final whistle in a match . Senegal won the final match according to the ref who officiated the match . A football body cannot overrule a referee’s decision on a match result . |
raumdeuter:Good luck to you guys . We won’t miss him because his time as minister for power was a dark period for the average Nigerian . |
Amigoos1:Whether POGMOL or FA , have you seen them reversing/overruling the result of a match which the regress brought to a conclusive outcome with whistle ? |
iamoyindamola:As election season don dey near, he need to go drink koko to break fast with his "people" ![]() Nigerian politicians ehn! |
Bluelines69:Baba, the fact that the ref continued the game after Senegal's protest, the Moroccans got awarded a penalty which they failed to convert and the Senegalese ended up winning via an open play goal that was not contested even after the final whistle; the match is as good as done and dusted. CAF cannot come back to overrule the decisions of the referee that saw the match to a conclusive end. If the Senegalese had refused to continue and the match ended at stalemate with the ref having to judge the match as inconclusive, CAF's invoking of their yeye article would've been reasonably justified and nobody will contest it. The crux of the matter is: only a ref can decide the outcome of a match that is played to full time. A football governing body cannot overrule the outcome of a match that the ref already decided with his whistle. There's a reason PMGOL will conceded a ref's mess up in officiating but would not overrule the decision of that ref after the match. |
raumdeuter:I read this morning that Tinubu has directed all his appointees planning to contest in the 2027 elections at various levels to resign their appointment by 31st March 2026. Does that mean your MCM Adelabu will be resigning as Minister for power to face his governorship ambition in Oyo state? |
Ex0rrcist:They apparently carved in under pressure from the Moroccans but ended up messing themselves up. |
larride:One universal knowledge is that once a referee ends a match @ 90 mins , 120 mins or end of penalty kicks , that match is done and concluded . No football governing body comes out to overrule the final outcome of a match that was already concluded by the refreee on the pitch . What CAF is doing is disgraceful and will further run down the stock of African football . |
