The entertainment industry is highly successful because it’s the only sector that there’s nothing like nepotism and tribalism, it’s pure simple competition where the best is rewarded. If you don’t produce a good song, nobody buys it regardless of your tribe, if you produce shitty movie, you get the reward instantly. You see collaborations between all the tribes. Just imagine that all the sectors of the Nigerian society functioned that way, where we truly had a society driven by meritocracy we would have truly been the giant of Africa.

Op, thanks for a topic like this. The plastic problem is a global one due to the fact that plastics do not degrade. To solve this problem, a handful of innovators have come up with a biodegradable option, looks like plastic but it’s made from corn or cassava but the limitations in this option is higher cost of production, it costs 60% more according to an article I read. One company is Indonesia is driving the campaign to implement this biodegradable product and they are increasing their product line to include more items.

I believe strongly that going the biodegradable route is the best way to tackle this menace. If one can find a way to reduce the cost of production.
