Do you realize they have a child together? It’s so easy to throw blames when it’s not us involved. The family as a whole did not handle the matter well. The elder sister has a duty to call the guy and have a heart to heart talk with him. If the elder sister was thinking right, she should have been concerned in taking that guy off the street because her sister and her child is involved. Actions have consequences PerseDew: Your parents travelled and he took the opportunity to come to your house, you sis has been insulting him steady long before now, pls what was he expecting?? If your parents were at home, would they have welcomed him with open arms? He knew he was not welcomed in that house but went ahead to visit..if this is not looking for trouble then tell me what it is.
Like I said, she may be faulted but you and even him started it. |

I understand your point, it’s a lot to deal with for any guy. Unfortunately you are not the guy. She has made a mistake which she has accepted and she has shown remorse. There’s nothing impossible. It’s possible when the guy hears her story he will have a change of heart. Life is not black & white. OgbeniOja1: Bro if I'm d guy I won't do again. @ifyjos, I know how you feel. You made a mistake out of revenge. I know your sister pushed you to the wall before you took the action you took but you have to know that two wrongs don’t make anything right. This matter is quite heavy cos I see you love your guy so much. What you can do is to contact your sisters Ex, together with your guy and explain everything to him and beg him to forgive and see if he can have a change of heart. I believe if he comes back to your sister, everyone would have learnt their lessons.
I pray it works out because I know the kind of guilt you are living with. Take things easy and do not be hasty to make decisions in moments of anger.
If you cannot reach your sisters Ex,then you have to find someone who your sister respects and confide in the person.
And try to ignore all the hateful comments directed towards you here, most of them have pointing accusing fingers have their own baggage, nobody holy pass!!! |

Romance › Re: Do Women Also Experience Konji The Way We Men Does by blujoi(m): 3:51pm On Oct 31, 2019 |
I like the way you presented this. This explains a whole lot. Thanks FreshShavedBalls: Let me share with you a quote from The Rational Male
"A healthy male produces between 12 to 17 times the amount of testosterone a woman does. It is a biological impossibility for a woman to want sex as much as, or as often as men. Trust that when a woman says, “I don’t understand why sex is so important to guys” she’s speaking the literal truth. No woman will ever experience 17 times the amount of her own testosterone levels (barring steroids). Amongst it’s many other effects, testosterone is the primary hormone involved with stimulating human libido. I should also add that, on average, and barring environmental variables, a mans testosterone only declines 1% per year beyond age 40, so even at age 60 the average, healthy male is only dealing with an average 20% deficit in testosterone. Critics of this observation like to argue that, for female sexual response and arousal, testosterone isn’t the only factor to consider. To which I’ll agree, however it is the primary factor in sexual response. A woman cannot possibly understand what 12 to 17 times their present amount of testosterone could feel like without steroid use. In fact the first effect female bodybuilders report when cycling anabolic steroids is a 100 fold increase in sexual interest and libido. So in terms of natural female hormonal / biochemical response there is no unaltered way a woman could ever make an accurate comparison to what a man’s baseline libido is in relation to her own. Women’s sexual desire is also cyclical. Even at the peak of her ovulatory cycle, when she’s at her horniest, she’ll never experience what men do 24 hours a day. This is the root of the myth, and the source of the social convention." |

Thank you so much for these your comments. It’s really appalling that young intelligent men and women will spend hours online to spew hate against each other in the name of tribal politics. Prettiepearlz: Thank you! It’s high time to call them out. Her comment about the mods made me click on her profile and I went through her comment because I needed to see if she truly despised tribalism and wants the mods called out for it or she is one herself but only feels that she gets punished because of her tribal views and she ya the latter. Before I finally created an account on Nairaland, been reading this forum since 2008 and this forum was the best forum so far, political section was a place to educate yourself. The fights were healthy, back then the fights used to be Nigerians in diaspora and Nigerians in Nigeria and it was a light banter, Family section was where you could get valuable advice without being labelled names, but now Nairaland has gone to the wolves. Kids from secondary school dominates the forum with multiple accounts spewing rubbish and those (the tribalistic Yorubas, Igbos, Hausas) who lives in the outside world pretending to love themselves use Nairaland as an opportunity to spread hate. The hate here is too much! And the silence about it is defeaning. And the most annoying thing is the hatred we interested today, we understand nothing about it and we weren’t there when it happened, now the millennials are about to transfer the hatred and aggression to their offsprings and the cycle continues. Sigh. I bumped I into an old post on politics on Nairaland some days back and I want that Nairaland back. |
Politics › Re: Osinbajo: Here Is What Happened. by blujoi(m): 9:07am On Sep 19, 2019 |
Nicely done.....let’s watch what happens Buckubuck: It is obvious the cabal are now ready to take their pound of flesh from Osinbajo for his political mistake of sacking Daura in 2017. I said it then that if Buhari comes back for a 2nd term, that's when it will be known if Osinbajo had his support for that move. He should have left Daura alone for Buhari to deal with himself when he gets back then, and not seen that period then as an opportunity to cut the cabal to size for whatever embarrassment he might have suffered in their hands, moreso the guy is buhari's kinsman. I fully expect him to get the Atiku treatment as the days progresses. As for tinubu's online urchins who have made the igbos easy targets for any political move made by the north, newsflash!! The Igbo is not ur stumbling block to 2023 presidency, the north is. I fully expect Buhari to start making moves to take over the party machinery as from 2021 just as OBJ did with PDP. This will start with the removal of Oshiomole. Anyone can bookmark dis. No politician will willingly hand over power to someone politically stronger than him which is why buhari supporting a tinubu presidency is a pipe dream. The most realistic choice is Fashola, but who knows what plans the cabal have for him. He fits the bill being a muslim, good appeal in the north and a very moderate political structure and charm. My fear for him though is the ambode smear might be used against him. In all, it's obvious that if the SW really want that presidency, they might need a plan B which will push the north out of its comfort zone from where it sees the south as too weak and decimated to mount a resistance should it seek to hold on to power. Tinubu may need to think out of the box Awolowo could not after all. |

I believe this is allowed because Seun et al believe such threads generate traffic, and the more the traffic on the site, the bigger the profits.

The total earnings coming into the federal purse is dwindling, while government expenditure is increasing and foreign direct investment is reducing so the only thing they can do is to increase the tax in order to sustain government expenditures. They won’t cut cost of governance and reduce loans , so this is the end result. Very soon fuel price will be increased, cos the naira is getting devalued and NNPC and CBN cannot sustain the current subsidy costs. It’s bleak all around, so tighten your belts everyone Adecodedstar: You are absolutely right. What do they plan to use the increase for? This government needs to be answering tons of questions from Nigerians everyday because they've completely lost track of their final destination. |
