Sir, the Nigerian constitution is the guiding principle behind our elected servants and each and everyone of them at any level swore to protect the dictates of that constitution. The constitution was not fashioned to fit with the laws of Moses or the Bible.

I can highlight a thousand and one cases where PMB failed the intergrity test, I didn’t hear him step aside. Now the crux of the matter is, an officer of the law failed in his duty and the 1999 constitution specifies a way which that very officer is to be removed, the president is sworn to follow those laid down procedures, overriding and ignoring such will lead to anarchy.

Yardua situation was similar, the constitution specified that where the presidency is incapacitated the VP is mandated to take over power, a group of people around the then President refused to follow this same laid down constitutional process but at the end of the day, Nigerians let them know they didn’t have a choice. They didn’t do that for the love of GEJ, but to protect the sanctity of the constitution. This is the crux of my argument.

When people around Yaradua refused to do what was right and became mediums to a half dead man refusing to handover to GEJ, was it the constitution that solved that matter or Nigerians who knew this was naturally wrong and refused to allow this happen. When the politicians finally recovered their senses they came up with the "doctrine of necessity" to cover their nyashes. Please tell me where the doctrine of necessity is in our constitution?

Everywhere in the Bible, it is says if you see evil and you have power to do something about it and do nothing you have sinned (a la Buhari). Everywhere in the Bible it says you should not judge someone when you know you are just as guilty of those sins (a la Onoghen). Everywhere in the Bible it condemns crooked judges (a la Onoghen) and in the New Testament it tells us Christ came to destroy all those overly fascinated by the Law (a la SANs and NBA) .It is said in the Bible that despite David being a man after God's heart, he did not allow him to build his temple only because their was too much blood on his hand (a direct result of him excelling as a serious wartime King).

It is only in Nigeria where people want to take all the glory of the office but don't want to bear any responsibility. Only in Nigeria where the elite insist on eating their cake and having it.


I state the below clearly:


Buhari is not suppose to be a servant of the law- he is a servant of the people first and foremost-and we will soon get the chance to judge him and if we feel he has not served us kick him out. (Note not many will make this decision based on whether they feel he has obeyed/disobeyed all the laws in this Country)

We do not have this chance with Onoghen who serves a different master.

Onoghen was suppose to be a servant of the law and decency alone, he is it's ultimate High Priest- however he has only proven to be a servant to himself alone by comparing himself to Buhari and conveniently choosing which laws to obey and which laws to "forget".

No sane man can take any ruling from such a compromised Idiot seriously. Just like I would not go to any church where I know the Bishop is a Hindu adherant

The CJN didn’t declare his assets, agreed, he should be removed, why don’t you follow laid down procedures to remove him? Are you in any chance saying that we should suspend the constitution in order to lynch thieves in our midst?

Talking of lynching, have you also asked why Babachir Lawal has not been lynched? When Nigerians united and made a lot of noise after his crimes were discovered, what happened? He was only relieved of his duty, has he been prosecuted?

I do not hold brief for any of these thieves who are in position of authority, but one thing everyone of us should note is that our institutions must be protected, especially the Nigerian constitution. Let the CJN be removed but you have to follow the law to achieve that. It’s simple.

I do not understand this line of argument, because Jonathan did an illegality that should justify for Buhari to continue with illegality? We voted out Jonathan for issues like this. Why should we now accept PMB illegal acts? Why don't you want to remove the CJN through constitutional recognized means?

What anti corruption fight? I wonder why this iron fist has not been applied to Oshiomohle that has a pending petition in EFCC, Ganduje has still not felt the iron fist, so has Maina not gotten the fist of Buhari, Babachir Lawal and many more saints in APC who have corruption cases against them. CJN is a criminal, I agree, do you have any proof yet? Why not remove him through constitutional means?

I am glad at your statement about enabling environment and systems that provide fertile ground for corruption to thrive. This is the fact, until most government processes are automated and human intervention is reduced to the barest minimum, we’ll still have corruption as our friend in this country.

As regards comparisons, are you advocating that we wait till APC rules for 16years before we can authoritatively compare the two parties? In my opinion, one can deduce the direction and mindset of a government within two years. No matter the beauracracy, it wouldn’t take 4 years to build a refinery, it shouldn’t take 4 years to have a nationwide health scheme, it wouldn’t take 4 years to have a national housing scheme(they can easily copy what Lagos state is doing), it wouldn’t take 4 years to sack the security heads for non-performance, it wouldn’t take 4years to get a workable economic blueprint, it wouldn’t take 4years to get new ideas on tackling the electricity problem.

I could go on and on about low hanging fruits which I expected this administration to tackle head on right from inception. But they haven’t and it doesn’t look to me like they want to.I do not expect him to work miracles, but at the very least let him show an understanding of the critical problems and make attempts, but that is lacking.

Atiku is not the best, but I am hoping that he’ll run a better government and create more economic opportunities for us as a nation. He being a VP didn’t give him any leeway to form policies or make economic decisions on behalf of Obj. So why judge him on that basis?

Yes Buhari has failed to meet expectations, but expecting him to be a miracle worker, turning things around in the space 4 years under a democratic settings with lot of bureaucratic bottlenecks will be asking too much.
And concerning the similarities of both pdp and Apc. Yes, it's a slim line separating them and that thin line are the people that make up the core of the Apc. I also believe humans are not utterly corrupt but enabling environment and system provides the fertile grounds for corruption to thrive. Most of the looters of yesterday that has turned activists overnight are people that have been forcefully weaned off their breast of lucre.
Finally, we constitutionally vote for parties, only the name of parties appears on the ballot. If the court finds fault in the primary election that produced a candidate even after winning the main election, the first runner-up in the primary election becomes the beneficiary of the position because the position belongs to the party and not the individual.

This election is between APC and PDP. both have held the country's highest office. so it will be unfair to judge APC on 4 years and choose to write off PDP"s 16years of misrule (which includes Atiku's "vpship"

I chose PMB because I hoped he will do things differently, I hoped that some of the fundamental issues we face as a nation will be addressed by his government, but those hopes have not been met, and it will be insane to continue hoping going by his current antecedents. You know very well that the Nigerian political parties do not practice or follow any collective ideologies, so saying PDP did this or APC did that is just a futile exercise. Nigerian politics revolves round individuals, that being said, is it not curious that the very people who were in PDP are now in APC and these same people turn around to point accusing fingers at PDP?

All being said, each one of us is entitled to choose his/her own candidate, but let’s stop this comparisons and trying to differentiate between PDP and APC. They are one and the same set of people.

How come you also conveniently forget that the same individuals who played a key role whilst PDP was in power are now in APC, the ruling party. These same individuals are currently making decisions and formulating policies in the present administration. Its only when we stop all this pointing of fingers on PDP and face the truth that PMB doesn't have ideas to move this country forward economically. Nigerian political parties do not follow any known ideologies, its all about getting into power and amassing wealth for their individual pockets using whatever political platform that favors them at the moment.

Accept my heartfelt sympathies, my cousin was also a victim but location was owerri, good thing was he complied and obeyed them and he didn't get hurt. Luckily he was released same day after we paid the 1m that we negotiated with them. I do not know if the fact that they were just young guys and not the dreaded fulani guys. I believe there are two possible angles to this, the first is that they could have run into kidnappers who sprayed the vehicle with gunfire when they failed to stop and eventually kidnapped the other guy. The second scenario could be the so called friend is complicit and part of the plan to get Badeh in an unguarded position and silence him from spilling secrets.

And I don’t think the government is involved in this cos FG already has a solid case against him, his assets has been confisticated and various sums recovered from him, why would they want him dead?
