If this so called infrastructure was channeled towards reviving the refineries thereby reducing the price of fuel and then making power supply steady, I bet you Nigerians will gladly vote for a second term for PMB. You invested more than two trillion in infrastructure and we still have epileptic power supply, we buy petrol at twice the amount we used to before you came to power. Nigerians have suffered for too long, I believed PMB would have a sense of urgency to remedying the areas that affect the Nigerian standard of living. But the reverse is the case, we have become more improvised, millions have lost jobs, our Naira buying power has further declined and you still insist on continuing? Haba!! |
"How are you going to sort out the 13 million out of school children?" - "We are figthing corruption." "How are you going to upgrade the hospitals?" - "We are figthing corruption." "How are you going to improve the economy to realise GDP of 5-7%?" - "We will fight corruption." "How are you going to create jobs?" - "We will fight corruption." "When are you going to reform the police?" - "Fight corruption." "When are you going to sort out the killings across the middle belt?" - We will fight corruption first." "Electricity?" - "Anti- corruption." #Copied |

Thank you my brother for providing this enlightenment. You know that an often repeated lie with time starts to look like truth as long as its repeated over and over again. This was the case with Jefferson, he took the money and hid it in his freezer and was spending from it and all the time was name dropping that he had access to top Nigerian government officials and most especially that he was in direct talks with the then VP, Atiku. onavae: |
Atiku has not been able to enter the US because they have refused to issue him a visa, he requires a visa to enter. Atiku has been a private citizen for how long now, what do you think it will take for US to request for his extradition to face charges. Secondly did you also read the part where it was stated that after the investigation, the funds were not confiscated, they allowed him to take out the funds and he took it to the UK. Why do you think they allowed him to take it out? Now, if you know the size of Intels, you will know that Intels is not a one man company, Intels operates in more than 5 countries. I have seen a couple of their invoices to one of the Major oil and gas companies for work done and one of those invoices are not less than $3m, and these are monthly invoices and it was more than one invoice, so imagine how much Intels makes from providing exclusive logistics services to at least 15 Oil and gas companies in Nigeria and then multiply that to the number of countries they operate. So do you think that Atiku couldn't have gotten $40m from his share of his interests in Intels in 8 years? Let me tell you something else, If an iota of proof was established against Atiku, Obj would have made sure he completely obliterated Atiku using EFCC and US law enforcement agencies just like he did to Alameseiya of Bayelsa. Do you know why the Bayelsa governor was hunted down? Because he was selected to be Atiku's VP back then. Obj made sure he took him out, got him impeached at night and arrested in a foreign country. It is not beyond Obj to instigate the US authorities to stifle Atiku and make him a persona non-grata to US, due to his vindictiveness. I do not hold court for Atiku to say that he is not corrupt, none of these politicians are angels, but since PDP has chosen him as their presidential candidate, I prefer him to PMB, because he is more of a progressive minded individual than Buhari. ozo13: |
Peter Obi didnt achieve anything while he was governor of Anambra state, because I refuse to list it for a nonentity called Deomelo. Ok, yes he didn't,If that will help you sleep better this night. But he is still my choice and yes I believe he is more competent than Buhari. Now you can support and believe your own lies while i believe my own. Thank you and have a nice day. deomelo: |
If only the Buhari supporters would take a break from this smear campaign and focus on CONVINCING the rest of us on why he should continue. But I guess that might be asking for too much. Stay Atikulated brother!!! Amumaigwe: |
No, I do not follow him closely, that will be absurd. Do you have any link or video evidence of what you have just stated? If you do kindly provide such and i will gladly retract my statements. boxypane: |
I'm sure if you create a thread for that you will get your answers. I am not from Anambra, but there were visible changes he made to the quality of life in Anambra. I repeat his competence is not in doubt, if you have any evidence against that, you could go ahead to state it. He had been successful as a private season and had headed various Businesses including a bank successfully without any scandals. deomelo: |
Why not Atiku? He has demonstrated an understanding of the problems and issues beleaguering Nigeria, he has shown his competence in creating wealth as a private citizen,he has been involved the Nigerian political scene and has the capacity to unite this country, he's not a new comer. We do not want PMB to continue and Atiku is someone I believe has the financial and political clout to unseat the current government. You might not agree with my reasons but that is the beauty of choice and democracy. ClassicMG: |
Its terrible. Peter Obi's competence is not in doubt. The attacks will continue, its expected. degamemaster: |
I'm never one to insult anyone, you can go through my chats to confirm. I'm all about using this medium to foster unity and learn. eric111111: |
Re-denomination was a golden opportunity we lost due to vested interests and leaders who failed to see beyond their noses. They were all interested in protecting the billions they had looted. i am not sure any CBN governor would ever be able to pull it off especially now that our economy is in dire straits. Sad really. |
Three quarters of the people who are commenting on this post didn't bother reading the write up, but are busy throwing tribal insults up and down. Redemption is really far from all you tribal lords!!! ![]() |
I agree that Lagos is smelling and is not as developed as it should be. But Bayelsa is rotten and decomposing. In contrast to Lagos, visible steps are being taken to bring the city to par with where it should be, can the same be said of Bayelsa state? tegrianonigltd: |
Lol!!! You know comprehension is a challenge for many. For some, its the urge to discredit there rival, so all sense of decorum is discarded. AyakaDunukofia: |
Any one with access to 200 naira data will login to Facebook and spew rubbish. Was it not in Igbo land that primaries were held just recently? Was it the fulani's and hausas that voted at those primaries? Who knows this one nah!!! Many are mad but few are roaming!!! |
These are the conversations we should be having. Not if Atiku stole the whole customs revenue or how many houses or companies he has. Since PDP has elected him their flagbearer, its time to start asking these very important questions. I also know that officially they are not allowed to campaign just yet, but we should be ready with these important questions when campaigning starts. I would like to hear what each candidate is going to do about the power situation and policing, subsidy payments and our refineries. chocolateme: |
Sorry, I didnt mean to plagiarize, I saw similar threads and put your information there for all to see. My bad Ozibe: |
Brother he is incompetent to turn around Nigeria's economic situation. I do not know what indices were used to award him President of the decade, I would be happy if you can share the link. But my question to you, are you better off now than you were 4years ago? Can you truthfully say things are getting better in all spheres around you in this same Nigeria that me and you are living inside? Do you sincerely deny that there's widespread poverty and impoverishment all around you. Would you honestly say that at the pace we are going, Nigeria's economy is truly truly improving for the better. Bro, look inside you and answer honestly, forget about APC/PDP or the personalities involved. How also do you explain the divisiveness of this government, its nepotism and high handedness in handling issues? How? onedayatime: |
Before ye diggers spread this falsehood, watch the video clip. Stop the smear campaign!!! Peter didn't say he does not have a property or properties outside the country. He said he doesn't have any house in Nigeria outside Onitsha. For those who don't have data to watch it, this is what he said and I quote. "Having being governor of Anambra for eight years, I cannot live outside Anambra state, never. The only place where I have a house officially built is in Onitsha. If you see any house anywhere in Lagos, Abuja belonging to peter Obi, Confiscate it" ......PETER OBI the Platform 2017 Asides he bought the house before he became the governor of Anambra state https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dk4o5EdUrZ4 |
You are digressing from the topic at hand. Atiku has never been a Nigerian President. We desire to elect him president because I and some other Nigerians Believe that Atiku/Obi have the competence to move Nigeria forward economically. We are not talking about voting for Obj, Obj's time is past and has no bearing to Atiku's candidature. By the way, we can only know how much Buhari has stolen when another government is installed, so easy with the thief sticker, we will need it for Buhari someday also. Like I have stated in previous threads, a PMB ticket is double jeopardy. I will rather go for corruption+competence than corruption+incompetence. buhariguy: |
We said it that they'll dig up all manner of stuff against Obi, and true to type they didn't disappoint, Lwkmd!!!! Continue digging una hear, una go soon discover oil for him backyard ![]() |
Ok, so you suggest we continue another four years of nothing happening? No economic blueprint, no urgency to take on the critical challenges facing Nigeria? I am certain i'm not the only Nigerian who wants to try the Atiku/Obi ticket, you can exclude yourself, its your right, thats why its a democracy. ClassicMG: |
We agree that Buhari is a good democratic leader and we thank him profusely, but he’s incompetent to turn around our economic situation and lacks the ideas to lift Nigeria to a path of sustainable growth that will ensure that my children and your children’s future are secured. We want to try Atiku and Obi, we cannot continue in poverty and lack, haba!!! |
Would you rather there be a breakup of Nigeria as an entity than a United and peaceful Nigeria? Is it not a positive that the ones who sought to breakaway have seen a reason to remain united?? My brother not everything is APC vs PDP. sarrki: |
I like the way you put your points across maturely. Not to take away your right to choose who to support, I will like to make a few pointers. By the way, I support the Atiku ticket. In your opening statements you outlined the issues you thought we had and I say yes, those where the major major issues, Security of lives as per how Boko Haram was daily harvesting souls in the North, the brazen corruption at that time and the economy which was slowly grinding to a halt. I also rooted for a PMB/PYO ticket. Now majority of us did based on the antecedents of Buhari and I also thought he would be a natural to tackle the first two but what do we have, Boko Haram has been replaced with Fulani herdsmen, corruption has not abated, infact we only swapped one set of criminals with a new set of criminals. The economy is in a coma, and the PMB/PYO don’t seem to have a solution to it. If Nigeria was a company, and an audit is carried out, you will agree with me that all the key performance indexes are in the negative!! So why would I want to continue with this management? Now to the Atiku/Obi ticket, first I would like you to appreciate the fact that Obj was not instrumental to his emergence as PDP’s flag bearer. If he had the chance he would never have allowed it to happen. The statements he made in his books/interviews has been proven to be out of his vindictiveness and revenge for Atiku for scuttling his 3rd term agenda. I abhor Obj because he is the genesis of our problems and has no right to pontificate to us now who we should choose, but you know what, Atiku being his diplomatic self and a bridge builder had to reach out to him, Atiku doesn’t need Obj to win, simple. It is good you acknowledged the fact that in a Nigerian government everything rests with the President. Now how do you think Atiku would have initiated the restructuring agenda as a VP under an Obj President? A president who himself was gunning for a second term and even a third term. Atiku simply took care of the portfolios that were assigned to him. Now even the restructuring topic has never been in the front burner before now and it is a plus that Atiku as politician has evolved and has seen the long term vision of a restructured Nigeria and how it can be beneficial to All. As for the new entrants, I haven’t seen any of them who has the followership to unseat the present government, so why would I continue wishing. I would rather suggest that the new entrants have a shot at contesting and wining the governorship posts in their respective states first before gunning for presidency, in Nigeria you have a better chance to become president as an ex-governor rather than a new entrant in the political sphere, this is purely based on critical analysis. |
Herein lies the major reason most of us are clamoring for an Atiku presidency, Agbakoba captures it all. It’s time to forget religion, and tribe and chose a president who will get Nigeria working again!!! |
This is really pathetic coming from PMB. When u were a beneficiary of dollars shared at APC convention by Tinubu and Amaechi, you didn’t remember it was materialism, when you were using their private jets to fly around during your campaign, it wasn’t materialism. The level of hypocrisy being exhibited just because Atiku won PDP primaries is just too much. Why don’t you focus on telling us what and what you will do to better Nigerians standard of living, haba!!!! |
Bro, you are spot on with the Intels background and how Atiku became involved, but you forgot the success of Intels was also due to Yardua (snr) help. Even if you tell this story a million times there are people who have been blinded by hate and will never believe you, just save your breath. When I meet them offline, I always ask them,is Atiku the only deputy comptroller in the history of customs service? How come no other former customs officer has been as rich as him?Providence smiled on him as he keyed into Volpi’s dream. Just like Paschal Dozie of MTN, who staked and risked it and today it has paid off for him. How much would a customs officer steal as at when Atiku was there to enable him still remain wealthy and relevant up until now. He must have diverted the revenue of the FG all the years he worked at customs. I rather chose competence+corruption than incompetence+corruption, simple!!! SarkinYarki: |
