Brother that’s the best disposition to Nairaland. This article is a perfect proof that a great majority of Nigerians don’t read, both offline and online. And I bet you 99% of those commenting are graduates or undergraduates. It’s funny but tragic, now imagine the number of educated illiterates we’ll have in the next 10-20years, and some people were arguing on another thread on the IQ level of most Nigerians, Lol!!!!

Now, I appreciate better, my decision never to argue with people on this and other online platforms; the level of comprehension and cognitive reasoning here is absolutely zilch.
PoliticsRe: I’m Depressed Over The Recent Killings – President Buhari Cries Out by blujoi(m): 1:37am On Nov 07, 2018
Actions speak louder than words. If you were distressed enough you could have made sure that either the minister of interior or the Police IG gets sacked for not doing their jobs. No single individual has been prosecuted. All we get are words and more words while thousands of innocent families are slaughtered, whole villages are wiped out. Its really a sad time to be Nigerian

allowman1234:
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday disclosed that he was “distressed and depressed by the atrocious ethnoreligious killings” across the country.

Speaking when he received leaders of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, led by Rev Dr Dachollom Datiri, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Buhari appealed to Nigerians to learn to live together in peace and harmony.

PoliticsRe: What Is The Best Way To Get Nigeria Working by blujoi(m): 11:35pm On Nov 03, 2018
All of the above listed points are good agendas to pursue but they are not critical to get Nigeria working. Let me explain

To get Nigeria working, we need to channel all of our energy to providing at least 20-22hrs of electricity to 80% of Nigerians. The provision of steady electricity will cause a ripple effect across all sectors of the nation. Manufacturing and industrialization are the two key factors that will kickstart the Nigerian economy. We cannot manufacture or become industrialized if we do not have steady electricity.

The truth is we still depend on crude oil for 80-90% of our foreign earnings and those earnings are dwindling on the other hand recurrent expenditure is not reducing.

I expected that this administration would pursue aggressively the provision of steady electricity by decentralizing how electricity is generated or distributed. Steady electricity will attract more foreign investments as the cost of doing business will significantly reduce, local manufacturing will pick up, the private sector will be boosted due to more activities. So may people will abandon blue collar jobs and start mini manufacturing. We have the population therefore manpower is not lacking.
PoliticsRe: Previous Governments Were Corrupt – Osinbajo by blujoi(m): 10:23pm On Nov 03, 2018
I get so annoyed each time APC flaunts it’s anti-corruption stance as an achievement. Tell me, the government workers in ministries and parastatals have they stopped collecting bribes to do their jobs? Have governors and ministers stopped collecting kickbacks from contractors? It’s business as usual.

The issue is the average Nigerian is being driven into poverty each passing day. The buying power of the Naira is reducing everyday. All PMB apologists should come and tell me if the prices of foodstuff has increased or decreased these past 4years! The economy is in shambles, food prices have increased, fuel prices have increased, school fees have increased, the cost of doing business in Nigeria has increased, the light situation has not improved, Nigerians are poorer than they were in the last 4 years and they are busy telling us how they are fighting corruption and building infrastructure!! There is no solid plan to get the economy working and you want everyone to continue like this. Is it corpses that will use these infrastructure you are building? Or is fighting corruption that will put food on the average family’s table

Enough please!!

3gunz:
Now to answer the question, cheating should not be condoned but it is very easy for a person who has such tendencies to do so. Even if the woman is wealthier, a man with the tendency to cheat will do so. During the era of Diego&Paloma on AIT, my flatmate invited a babe from Babylon hostel and they kpanshed. His girlfriend came from Abuja unannounced and she knocked the door, no answer, so she went to out of the compound and round to the window of the bed room.

She could hear the sounds of 2 adults getting down and she just waited, she tried calling his number to confirm if he was the one in the room, but luckily for him, his phone was off and I had gone to a party and I returned at past 7.

Babe now said if I was a true friend I should tell my friend the truth that he was the one in the room, and he had told her Shaggy's line "it wasn't him". That was Friday night. On Saturday night the chick got mad and she slapped my guy, my guy slapped her in return, in anger she was looking for an item to strike him, when she found the iron, my guy don run comot jump fence when she burst out of the room and into the compound she still walked to the gate before she returned and began to cry. Na im I begin dey beg her o, so she could calm down. Last last she smoked a cigarette before she could calm down.

Now imagine my friend didn't run, she would have hit him with the iron and hurt him, and they weren't even married. Now the guy's sisters never liked the babe, what would they say if she had injured their brother? It would become a serious case.

Both went their separate ways a few years later. So in my opinion if push comes to shove there's no need for violence, just leave instead of doing something you will later regret. It's not everyone who can stand sharing their partner but some can because of their temperament. We all have different temperaments, we need to understand the temperament of the person we want to marry before we do so.

For instance a sanguine guy would use his temperament to woo as many girls as possible and he believes it is an achievement, without realising that he was just expressing his personality and the women opened up because he is an extrovert extraordinaire.

The credit card is just like any other ATM card. You can make multiple withdrawals with it and purchases just like you will use your normal debit ATM. The interest rates are determined by the bank issuing it to you. I believe they would tell you the interest rate, you should talk to your account officer to give you the terms and conditions. I was under the impression that you had already been offered a credit card, so you should have the interest rate information. The credit card would usually have its own account number and you can pay by transferring to it or walk into your branch and make a deposit over the counter just like you would pay into every other account. Hope my answers are satisfactory

AmandaLuv:
Tnx dear, plz wit d credit card can i still make multiple ATM withdrawal wit d credit card and multiple purchase within a month and at wat percentage do they charge u?

Secondly, if i have a credit card of 300k for instance and i make purchase of 50k in a month how much interest am i likely to pay? And how do i make repayment?
Does d credit card have an account of it's own or wil it be linked to my account?

Sorry 4 too many questions.
BusinessRe: Enquiry by blujoi(m): 2:53pm On Oct 27, 2018
Hi, I have had a Naira credit card and terms were very favorable. There are no hidden charges but you must make sure you pay back the borrowed sum before the end of the month or credit cycle. You must also diligently keep records of your payments in case a dispute arises(Email copies of bank statements). But its a wonderful thing to have cos it comes in handy when you run out of your own cash.

Lmao!! I forgot to add that El-Rufai was the DG then and was even the one directly involved in the bidding and technical evaluations of the companies that eventually got the assets being sold. Yes most of the corporations were part of the military era. Let the diggers association continue digging we will be here to set the records straight, since they refused to have sense. The diggers also forgot to mention that Obj also bought some of those companies together with his in laws from Stella his wife (the Abebe’s). I am also very sure El Rufai himself bought some also.

overall90:
in addition, most of those corporations were run aground ny the military of which Buhari was part and parcel of.
Also while Atiku was the chairman of the NCP,El-rufai was the DG of BPE and was heavily involved in the privatization exercise but because he is in Apc,they are not talking about him.
When Buhari was the federal commissioner of petroleum in the 70s,about 2 billion dollars disappeared from the agency and the money was later traced to Buhari account with Midlands bank in Uk.
Also during Abacha era ,the PTF of which Buhari was the chairman is more like a super ministry and it was through there that Abacha stole and laundered all the money.
I think one thing that has worked for Buhari is that no matter how much he steals from the government,he lies about it,doesn't invest ,tries pretend an austere life style.
imagine a man that claims he took a loan to purchase nomination form but his children were all schooling in the Uk.

You can apply the garnishee order on his/her assets that you can identify which you can liquidate to the value of the judgement debt. Lawyers in the house, pls let me know if I’m correct.

I am replying this op, not because anyone is bothered by these antics, but for the sake of a few who would like to get a different perspective to this story.
You see these companies listed here were part of the privatization programme initiated by then Obj government, where it was agreed that the FG were involved in too many businesses which were not making money for the FG instead were adding to the cost of governance, so a decision was made to divest and sell these assets through the BPE of which fell under Atiku’s portfolio as the then VP.

A portfolio that was assigned to him by the President. Several of these assets were sold off and also many more government assets were monetized. Of course many in government who had the resources keyed in and took over these assets. For someone to now use this as part of a smear campaign against Atiku is just a display of dementia.

The question reasonable people have asked and are still asking, why were all these not dug up when this same Atiku was sponsoring APC and helped PMB to win? What are those PMB achievements that you can point out that will sway us to vote for him a second term?

If you could spend more energy to point out the positives of PMB’s administration rather than this smear campaigns I bet you it would be more beneficial.

I think maybe he should add that, they won’t interfere directly until there’s something of value to which they have a collective interest in. Ghadaffi was removed because he had plans to disrupt the world monetary system installed by the western powers. I wonder why anyone would think they’ll interfere in this Nigeria/Biafra issue, it’s of no value to them

Bro, who would have thought that Mustapha would ever be released? Stranger things have happened. These guys in power have so many people whispering in their ears and in the confusion they can accede to anything as long they believe it will help to hold on to power. That aside, their could be type of arrangement for him to keep quiet until after his tenure. On Atiku winning PMB? It’s my sincere wish and you never can tell. Elections are like football matches very unpredictable, it’s still a long way to February. Who would have thought that GEJ would lose after all the dollars that was expended in the build up to the elections. Even the APC at that time were shocked. Nothing in this life is certain.

zlantanfan:
you really believe buhari would give upon pardon? I don't even see buhari having any deal with him, he may have released him just to keep voters apathy in east. Mark my words atiku would never win buhari and buhari would highly descend on east and ipob in his second term

Lol, the reason I think Twitter is more civil is because it’s not completedly anonymous, so everyone is on their ‘good behavior’ mode unlike Nairaland where every teenager with an opinion and access to cheap data can open multiple monikers and spew trash without any repercussions. I could be wrong though

Yeah there are measures to ensure the money is paid. There is what is called garnishee order, which is like a freeze order on the account of the person who’s is supposed to pay, issued usually by a judge. The NPF have a central bank account so Charlie boy can easily get such an order to enforce the payment, but it’s not usually immediately, he has to give reasonable time before going for a garnishee order. NPF might appeal the judgement though, but these days cases like this are quickly expedited. The judgment is more symbolic as it has set a precedence.

Mrquincy:
Wow never knew there were counter measures. Thanks for sharing this new knowledge
