I rest my case biko don’t say this outside Nl .. Oh, because your friend is white, she must be more knowledgeable than me. Better read up on matters yourself instead of trusting on your neocolonialist mentality. |

iamJ: another one, poor people are poor because their mind is poor, no offense
feminism is giving power to women, by women and for women, oga ure not a feminist, stop seeking equal pay with ur Ond certificate Where did I claim to be a feminist, for heaven's sake You should know that there is a difference between feminism and feminist and that they can never have the same definitions. |

Lalas247: It is .... You can be in support of it ..but as a man you can not be a feminist or do you have a pûssy ... justasking o .. thought ur male .. What he said is right ,.. even though you don’t like it it’s true .. you cannot be a feminist
Na everything women dey do una wan do ... na wa o Feminism is a movement, not gender. I don't have to be a poor man to recognize the struggles of poor people. Okay, you too, check this link: http://www.instyle.com/celebrity/male-celebrities-who-are-feminists-and-proudWikipedia defined a feminist as a person. Which means the term is not gender-specific. |

iamJ: ure not making sense bt ure too dull to knw, feminism is not a movement its a personality, how can i be a feminist when am not seeking equal pay? how can i be a feminist wen its not me that men sexually abuse? hw can i be a feminsit when its not me that is being treated unfairly, feminism is gender specific even the word itself says that
call som1 that can read in ur house to read the below to u Yet, another confirmation of your lack of education So, an article riddled with the opinion of a person is now supposed to be your stand on whether the word feminist is gender-specific or not? OK, I have articles too. Check link below: http://www.instyle.com/celebrity/male-celebrities-who-are-feminists-and-proud |

iamJ: how can a man that hasnt lived as a woman understand their struggle? A man can't be called a feminist, if u dont have money to Google ur claim, beg I will help you , it's Christmas a time to be nice to the poor You are finally disgracing yourself. The word feminist is not gender-specific. |

iamJ: I'm not a woman na, that's why I can't be called a feminist, I love china, I support them but u cant call me a Chinese man na, use ur head Biko And your Chinese analogy is yet another confirmation of your lack of education. How does being a supporter of a movement correlate with being a citizen of a country? You can't call yourself a Chinese simply because you like China. You need to be a citizen. Same can't be said about wearing the tag of a movement like feminism. Please, do well to educate yourself. The word feminist is not gender-specific. |

Attention seeking leach Shut the fvck up and be humble, you brainless pig She desires emancipation of women. (You accuse her of being a feminist). You desire emancipation of women. iamJ: u eh u like trouble, so because i support somtin that means i can be tagged as one , individual identity matters, if i support giving babes more breast milk does that make me a baby? if i support gays, does that make me gay? even the word feminism was coined for femininity, u like running when there is fire, ure not a feminist, dont try to twist the story, i dont support feminism as a feminist, i support as an ally any educated, confident woman that cant stand up for who she is shldnt be respected You sprinted foolishly into her trap.

ogashman: I wonder why people re already sponsoring a boycott gtb campaign.the saga is yet to be resolved by the supreme court n yet u guys ve passed judgement on behalf of the court.
it wud ve been a different case if the supreme court had mandated gtb to pay Mr innoson and they declined. funny how people derive pleasure in bringing others down.
it might be surprising that those calling for the boycotting of gtb do not even know the minutest details of this case. Exactly the same thing that happens in cases of jungle justice. They hear one side of the story and swing into action like zombies. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: UN Jerusalem resolution: How each country voted by BluntBoy(m): 9:27am On Dec 22, 2017 |
SoNature: A funny country like Nigeria is still trying to deal with basic challenges like tribalism, nepotism, corruption, and religion, and here you are talking about self-reliance.
To the topic now, I just like that President Trump is a man with lots of guts. The act to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel has been in US Constitution for about 20 years but previous American presidents were scared of implementing it until Mr. Trump did.
I watched the US rep to the UN emphasize on US monetary, military and humanitarian contributions to the United Nations and the world over. Truly, I just hope they don't withdraw those. Because if they do, the Nigeria I know too well is in trouble, and China and Russia are not willing enough to play the helpful role of the US around the world. Dependence itself breeds corruption and it is corruption that allows problems like nepotism to thrive. Are you not ashamed that in the 21st century, your country still imports little things like toothpicks and pencils? You think we can overlook self-reliance to tackle corruption? Now, to the topic. You like Trump because he appears to have guts but guts belong only to the stone age. This age is an age of brains and diplomacy. Claims to the ownership of Jerusalem has always been very hotly contested between the mostly Jewish Isreali state and the mostly Arabian Palestinian state. Jerusalem holds just as much significance to the Jewish people as it holds for the Arabs and Christians. The claims are always contentious and the city was thus stated as belonging to both states as a measure to curb violence pending when a much better solution is proffered. So far, a succession of American presidents have obeyed the decision only for Trump to come and disrupt it. Can I ask you a simple question: How has Trump helped solve the lingering conflict over Jerusalem? |

Kennywills7: I know, if it was the time of Gej, Nigeria would have abstained from voting bearing In mind the relegious status of Nigeria and I think that would been the best thing to do. That is not to say Nigeria can't do without their aids, I mean come on "We are Nigeria" and that money is change compare to only one politician steal In a year If one were to look at it from a religious angle, the contest should be between Judaism and Islam. How it concerns you Nigerian Christians is what I find hard to understand. Recognizing Jerusalem as jointly owned by Israel and Palestine is just for the sake of peace pending negotiations for a much better resolution. I don't see any wrong in what Buhari or the others that voted against Trump did. Trump cannot claim not to be aware of how claims to Jerusalem is contentious. It is not a contest that you can make go away by simply shifting capitals. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: UN Jerusalem resolution: How each country voted by BluntBoy(m): 8:12am On Dec 22, 2017 |
mogbeyiteren: Buhari cannot decide for all of us, Nigeria is not an Islamist nation...........I stand with Israel, the rightful owner of Jerusalem. The state of Israel or the Jews? Because the Jewish people are not the only ethnic group in Israel. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: UN Jerusalem resolution: How each country voted by BluntBoy(m): 7:30am On Dec 22, 2017 |
dictbennie: Imagine the US withdrawing the aide it gives to Nigeria. What happens to abstaining? Imagine developed countries like Canada and Australia abstaining. It would be a blessing for us. According to the Dependency Theory, the less we depend on core states, the more we would develop. You think these core states like America are doing us a favor by giving us aids? Of course, not. They are simply encouraging us to depend on them, thereby suppressing our chances of developing. It is a sort of neocolonialism that needs to stop soon for Nigeria to truly attain greatness. |

LadyGoddiva: A new spelling/definition of women by feminists. This makes me wonder if the basis of feminism is to hate/despise everything remotely male or to advance the welfare and opportunities of women or perhaps a mixture of both. What is funny there, for heaven's sake?
