Production overwhelmed by demand??

But our Nigerian-Produced cement are still being supplied to Cameroon, Benin, Togo, and even to far-away Ghana through road routes.

So, why supplying to all these countries whereas the demand in Nigeria is overwhelming the supply??

WHY MUST YOU GUYS ALWAYS TELL LIES?

TWO THINGS.

1. It's a spontaneous Skit..
(That's not how they do everyday. The mom saw the daughter with camera and decoded that it was a staged act, and she acted along)

2. The woman is actually the breadwinner (at least for the time being.
(The man said it himself.. “She works and brings money and bring ideas”.)

OK..
You can now start to tell me that I'm not happy for them.
(Which is not true.. But I would keep quiet and let it pass)

Obi has taught politicians a clever way to account for campaign monies. Any money you can't account for or even mismanaged, just retire it as Legal Fees smiley. That's all.

They just gave summary, and you guys are cumming up-and-down..

Why are local manufacturers winding up and foreign ones leaving the country? Cost of production, GSK and PZ left for the same reasons. You don't know the economy of your country is powered by diesel.
If bread bakers and pasta producers are crying of cost of production not to talk of cement manufacturers.
At least i sound funny and not ignorant grin
Mista-man, what exactly is the point you are making?
Why are you just dancing around many points.??

I thought we were arguing about how the DOLLAR-BASED part of the production-line of cement became the major reason for the increased price of cement in the market..

How come you're noe talking about diesel again??
And even bringing GSK, and PZ, and bread-bakers, and pasta producers into the discussion.??

Did the price of bread and pasta rise to 300% within the last two weeks too (Just the way cement rose 300%)

MASTERCHIEF0847:
Have you ever been to a cement factory? Have you seen the mining equipment used for mining limestone? To even service those equipment you have to bring in expatriates who will be paid in dollars, spare parts will be paid in dollars, same as importing stuff like gypsum which is imported and paid for in dollars. Those mining equipment and spare parts are not produced by INNOSON grin so they have to be imported from Europe mostly and it's paid for in dollars.
At least do a little research on cement production before you display your ignorance na.
When you say that something is dollar-dependent,, it means that more than 50% of its input are paid-for or procured in dollars.

You mentioned the procurement of Equipment, (you even mentioned INNOSON), just to sound funny.
But let me ask you, do they buy those equipments every week (or even every month)?
Are any of those equipments bought or procured within this period of hike in price?

For the operation of those equipments and their maintenance,, let me even assume that the expatriates are the ones who also do the operation of these equipments (and not Nigerians), then tell me..,, what is the percentage of these O-&-M costs compared to the overall production costs when compared for 2012, 2022, and now??

And then, for the procurement of Gypsum,, what's the percentage of its procurement cost with relative to the overall cost of production as at 2002, 2012, 2022, and now??

The production of Cement, even though it had some few things to do with dollars,, you cannot use that to say that the production of Cement is dollar-dependent.

Dangote owns Nigeria?

this is funny..and also worrying..
However you choose to see it,
Dangote seem to be bigger than Nigeria..
He is arguably the only man in Nigeria who breaks the rule and still win..

Lifemanage:
Dangote definitely has nothing good to offer Nigerians as the richest man. He will soon face the wrath of the masses
.
Nbote:
Dangote enjoys tax relief from the government. Limestone and other materials used for production is sourced locally and not imported. Cost of production alone is not enough for him to triple the price of his cement. It's funny how everyone blames farmers for hoarding grains and inflating prices for commodities but yet no one is talking about people like Dangote for doing same
Why are you all talking about DANGOTE.??

Is he the only cement manufacturer in Nigeria??

What also happened to BUA Cement, Elephant Cement, and Lafarge Cement.??

Does it mean that they all planned together and continued raising the price of cement.??

(Even without Dangote’s input).

Increase in cost of production, transportation etc... that is what you get in a dollar-dependent economy.
If the materials for producing cement are sourced locally,, what has DOLLARS got to do with its cost of production.??

Please I need someone to explain it fully to me - like as if I'm 10yrs old.

Why exactly is the price of cement going up this way?? What exactly really happened?

Is the price only affecting Just Dangote Cement?
Or it also affected all the other cement brands like Bua and Elephant.??

So cause 20m naira was at stake he was arrested, the person who gave his info should also be arrested, meaning people knows these people but refuses to hand them over to the appropriate authorities.

Don't be surprised that a police officer will show up for the bounty.

The Police will now go to Wiike to demand for the N20m Bounty.
(Or half of it, since they got one person out of the two)

Meaning that they knew where and how to get them all the while.

And if they got the money complete.,,,
After some months, the arrested criminal(s) would be out of the police net and back into the society without anyone getting to know.
