Nigerians Please Note.

THIS REGISTRATION OF BIRTH IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE NIN-NUMBER REGISTRATION BY THE NIMC..

Although, I really don't see the reasons why the both of them should be separated.

Politics › Re: Only Persons Below 18 Will Be Issued Birth Certificate - NPC by BluntCrazeMan(op): 5:41am On Feb 09, 2024
So, in summary....
They want to use the ONLINE Registration of Birth to do an Online Audio Census for us..
And at the same time,, WE HAVE TO PAY THEM FOR US TO COUNT OURSELVES IN THE PROCESS.!!

Ok naa.
Everything is just a money-making venture for these people.
Even to gather data of citizens too.

ONLY PERSONS BELOW 18 WILL BE ISSUED BIRTH CERTIFICATE, SAYS NPC

The National Population Commission (NPC) says birth certificates will not be issued to persons older than 18 years of age.

The NPC State Director Oyo State, Mr Akin Oyetunde,
told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Ibadan that this is according to Act 1992, Birth and Death.

He said, “The NPC is guided by an Act propagated in 1992, so any child born before 1992 will not be issued a birth certificate.

“Instead of a birth certificate, people born before 1992 and those over 18 years old will be given an Attestation of Birth.

“However, those below 18 years old will be issued birth certificate by the commission.”

The Oyo State director added that all local governments in the state have birth and death registration centres.

He explained that “every local government has its own birth and death registration centres. No local government has less than three registration centres.

“The certificates issued at the centres are the same everywhere and acceptable wherever they’re tendered.”

On the postponed National Population and Housing Census earlier slated for 2023, Oyetunde said everything was set for the exercise.

He said, “We are prepared and we only need the federal government to give the go-ahead. All materials for the exercise have been distributed to local governments.

“All those who are to take part in the census have been trained; all is set to hit the ground running.” (NAN)

**It's either that this Mr. Akin Oyetunde doesn't know mathematics very well, or that he is talking pure trash... 🗑️ 🗑️
Or maybe the newspapers reported him wrongly..

(Because, from 1992 to 2024 is actually 32yrs, and not 18yrs.. So, I don't understand why they are trying to link those born before 1992 into this news article).

An Act was propagated in 1992, and according to the Act, any person below the age of 18yrs who registers their birth would get a Birth Certificate, but if the person didn't register his/her birth until after 18yrs of age, then whenever he/she comes to register his/her Birth, he/she WON'T get a birth certificate any longer, but an Attestation of Birth.

**Nothing in the Act concerns being born before 1992.

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND ATTESTATION OF BIRTH.

The National Population Commission (NPC) had launched the online self-service for the registration of birth.

Thus, you can now register your birth or that of your children by yourself with ease in the comfort of your home.
REGISTER NOW at https://nationalpopulation.gov.ng and discover the ease of VitalReg!

For complaints, requests and technical support, contact the NPC through the official support CHATBOX on the NPC’s website.
According to the information available on the NPC’s website, the age for the issuance of “Attestation of Birth” is 16yrs and above,, and not “18yrs and above” as reported in the newspaper publication.

Very correct. There is sth about Super Eagles and Semi Final. One kind of demon or complacency sets in and then crash, only to get serious again in order to get Bronze

@BluntCrazeMan, nothing like "tend to relax".
The table simply implies that on average, Nigeria often falls within the 3rd best in Africa.
At various times, Cameroon & Egypt were predominantly the Strongest in Africa. Ghana to an extent, in olden days.

But this AFCON 2023 is different, all the big guns (Top 5) are out.
I am yet to understand what made my analysis totally wrong.

(That-is,, taking note of the fact that I first put a caveat, that every conclusions were based on the table of medals ALONE)

How come it entered into your brain and started sounding like “WE ALWAYS LOST MOTIVATION”??
Are you for real.??

...
Let's even look at it very well..

We reached semi-finals 16 times.
And we lost the finals 9-times..
Only to wake up after the first loss to struggle to win the third-place 8-whooping times out of the 9-times we lost the finals??

Is that how dearly we so much love the third-place??

The Right of Self-determination is a fundamental human right of “a people”, which is deeply rooted in the International Laws.

Thus, the suppression of this right is a breach of international laws.

most of you are dumb in this country that's why we have been having bad leaders.. someone just came up with nonsense and you believed him.. did you know we missed two nations cup because of abaja? Did you know we've lost 3 finals to Cameroon? Try dey think
You don't have any Opinion.
Yet when someone has an opinion, you call the person “dumb”. And instead of you to just dispute the person's opinion with your own superior opinion, you just ended up talking in circles.

And you think you're not part of the problems we have in this country??
You're one of those empty noise-makers who have absolutely nothing to say, yet they are busy making lots of noise, as if they know what they're saying..
But when the microphone is given to them, they would be repeating the same statements over a million times.

And you finally agreed that Cameroon are very very strong even in the finals??

Nigeria won silver 4 times.
And it was to Cameroon they lost to 3 out of the four times?

Are we not even saying the same thing here?

**(This analysis is based only on the figures on the table alone, and not backed-up by any historical facts or data..)

Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire have almost the same mindset.

Once they reach Semi-final, they tend to relax.
Until they got beaten.
Then, they wake up, and try their best not to go home at the 4th place.
(This describes the many bronze medals)

Ghana tends to be somewhat better than Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire in their mindset.
But in their own case, they tend to relax at the finals.
(The too many silver medals led to this conclusion)

Cameroon and Egypt are the teams who tend to always give in their best all the way to the end.
