Politics › The IREV Portal Is Now Ready For The Imo, Kogi, And Bayelsa Gov Elections by BluntCrazeMan(op): 5:33am On Nov 11, 2023 |
Dear Nairalanders. Let us give the IREV one more trial. Let's do this again one more time. https://inecelectionresults.ng/elections/types/5f129a04df41d910dcdc1d51?type=govI wasn't really expecting INEC to deploy the IREV again, after their own lawyers went to the court to testify that the IREV is irrelevant.Nevertheless, even though we don't trust the IREV and the INEC themselves any longer.,, let's still hold them by their words again... But this time, don't expect them to keep their words. VOTERS.!! PLEASE FOLLOW YOUR VOTES FROM THE POLLING-UNITS TO THE WARDS, TO THE LGAS, AND TO THE FINAL STATE COLLATION CENTERS..
IF THEY PREVENT YOU FROM GOING INSIDE, NO PROBLEMS.. STAY CLOSE ENOUGH IN YOUR LARGE NUMBERS, AND KEEP THE ACCREDITED AGENTS INSIDE, THEN, KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN AT ALL TIMES.
ONCE YOU SEE ANY MANIPULATIONS GOING ON,, USE YOUR LIVE VIDEOS ON THEM IMMEDIATELY.. AND LEAVE THE REST.PARTY AGENTS.!!! PLEASE STOP STAGING WALK-OUTS, AND STOP LEAVING THE COLLATION CENTERS.. (IT DIRECTLY EQUATES TO THE IPOB’S CRAZY STRATEGY OF BOYCOTTING ELECTIONS..)
SO STOP IT..!! IT'S BETTER FOR YOU TO STAY THERE AND VIDEO EVERYTHING THAT IS HAPPENING THERE FOR SAKE OF EVIDENCE..
AND EVEN, YOU HAVE TO SIGN ALL THOSE SO-CALLED MANIPULATED RESULTS, AND WRITE “OBJECTION” NEAR YOUR NAME, AFTER SIGNING YOUR PORTION..
We must get it right only if we try to do the actual right things,, and not by trying to out-do them or out-smart them in their game of foolery and evil.As for the ONLINE MONITORING COMMUNITY,, we only have the IREV...,, at-least for now.

Is this how easily you derail.? Go back and read that comment. Let me know what the word “meanwhile” is supposed to be doing there. If you decided to gladly join yourself as part of the subject in the second sentence after the “meanwhile”, then, that's your decision. Don't count it on me. |

Maxwell: With the kind of lawyers we have and the kind of Judges in the Nigerian Courts, jungle justice will be on the rise. ... Cornerspy: My friend cought the thief that has been robbing his farm for months. He arrested him (the thief). On getting to Court, the Judge pardoned the guy - despite him admitting of been the one that's responsible for the theft. This was after he had spent about 40k on the case. .. Maxwell: [So] A simple question. If that your friend catches that same thief or another thief in his farm, will he look for justice in the court or will he serve justice à la carte by himself? NIMC CLEARS OVER 2.5M BACKLOG OF NIN MODIFICATION – DG
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has cleared over 2.5 million backlog of modifications to National Identification Number (NIN).
Acting Director-General, Engineer Abisoye Coker-Odusote, gave this indication during an unscheduled visit to the FCT office of the commission.
She also insisted that NIN registration is free while nominal fees are expected to be paid for modifications.
”We don’t expect people to pay for enrollment but as for modifications in signatures, enrollment errors and Date of Birth, what should be paid through bank remittances are N500 and N15,000 respectively.
“And please note that modifications of any information would only be allowed if made with sworn affidavits.
” Let me reiterate that the agency on my watch will not tolerate continued acts of extortion and harassment of Nigerians from within.
“We also want to promise that all issues delaying the processing of national identity cards would be addressed within two weeks,” Coker-Odusote added.
On the challenges of broken down and outdated systems, slow network connectivity and others, the NIMC DG said all issues were being addressed, saying the Renewed Hope agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration would reposition data management in the country.
On her part, the FCT NIMC Coordinator, Mrs Ndi Awan, spoke about the uncomfortable working environment, slow network connectivity and activities of touts around the premises.
She said: “Our challenge is many but let me talk about the issue of poor network, we usually find it difficult to upload biometrics of enrollment.
“We are also short-staffed, our officers are not enough to handle the number of people coming in, this makes the system and process slow.” Source: https://blueprint.ng/nimc-clears-over-2-5m-backlog-of-nin-modification-dg/

Kukutente23: I think we need clarity on s62(2) of EA2022 under the heading: 62. Post-election procedure and collation of election results.
Also s70
Based on the two sections above, how exactly is electronic collation illegal?
fergie.001 Blunt.CrazeMan gar.field1 The Section-62(2) of the Electoral-Act (according to the Osun-Petition final judgement by the Supreme Court),, is not actually referring to any Collation System, but is referring to an electronic archive.. Which can be populated at any time - and not necessarily during the time the election is going on.They also ruled that the IREV-Portal was the electronic archive which the Section-62(2) was referring to, (which in actual sense was not actually true..) And then, the supreme court Judgement recently affirmed in the PEPT Judgement that the IREV-Portal is not a Collation System.. And also, that the IREV-Portal is not a platform for the verification of the polling-unit results during collation (this particular second part of the judgement is not really true, but there is nothing we can do about it for now, unless it gets reviewed, or another better-informed judgement passed in that regards). So, let's just take the laws as flawed and as badly interpreted as they are currently., pending the time the Electoral-Act gets amended properly. |
