UNIZIK SUSPENDS STAFF FOR FORGING DEGREE, NYSC CERTIFICATE
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, commonly known as UNIZIK has suspended a member of the staff of the institution, Nwafor Ogbonnaya Nwesuzor, over allegation of certificate forgery.
A press release by the Special Adviser to the Vice Chancellor on Public Relations and Special Duties, Emmanuel Ojukwu, stated that Nwafor allegedly forged his degree and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption certificate in his desperation to secure a job in the university.
Nwafor ran into trouble when he wrote to the university, requesting to change his degree result.
Ojukwu said Nwafor had been suspended from the employment of the university for six months while his case would undergo other processes before final disposal action.
The statement read in part, “The Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof Charles Okechukwu Esimone, has approved the immediate suspension of Nwafor Osborne Ogbonnaya (Nwafor Ogbonnaya Nwesuzor) over allegations of presentation of forged and fake degree result to the University.
“In a bid to secure employment in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nwafor Osborne Ogbonnaya, whose real name is Nwafor Ogbonnaya Nwesuzor abandoned his undergraduate programme and forged the university statement of result and a letter of exclusion from the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).
“He later went ahead to complete his degree programme.
“The whole scenario emanated when Mr Nwafor Osborne Ogbonnaya wrote to the university requesting to change his degree result.
“The new result he submitted bears different name, Nwafor Ogbonnaya Nwesuzor and different class of degree and this resulted in suspicion.
“Upon further investigation, it was discovered that this staff forged his degree result and letter of exclusion from the NYSC based on the obvious disparity between the documents he submitted originally and the new documents he was trying to substitute.
“The class of degree in both results presented varies, the forged statement of result with the name Nwafor Osborne Ogbonnaya bears second class lower division while the original result with the name Nwafor Ogbonnaya Nwesuzor bears third class.
“In following due process, the Vice Chancellor in exercising his powers based on the university rules and regulation approved his immediate suspension from the employment of the University for six months while his case undergoes other processes in the University before final disposal action.”
[b]The current incident, however, is directly linked to a few former and current Interswitch employees who likely exploited vulnerabilities in the company’s system..[b]
Reminds me of all INEC Staff across the country.. Both permanent and adhoc staff.

It is better to be a coward and stay alive than to die trying to be a hero. Violence won't take you anywhere. Learn to be at peace with everyone even if you are right or wrong. No need to drag with anyone.
sarkinbauchi: A Presidential yacht refers to a vessel of a country's navy that would be specially used by the country's President. It is common for a vessel to be designated as the presidential yacht during a fleet review.
Some countries (below) have vessels permanently designated as presidential yachts:
List of Countries with Presidential yachts
Egypt The President of Egypt has the eighth largest yacht, El Mahrousa, as his presidential yacht.
Finland The President of Finland has a small private yacht, Kultaranta VIII.
India The INS Sumitra is the presidential yacht of India.
Italy The Italian ship Argo (MEN209) is the presidential yacht of Italy.
Philippines Casiana (1936-1941), renamed Banahaw. Orchid (1946-1948) Dalisay (1948-1959), renamed Apo, Pagasa, and Santa Maria. RPS Lapu-Lapu (1959–present), renamed RPS Roxas, RPS The President, RPS Pag-Asa, and BRP Ang Pangulo.
Russia Russia employed presidential yachts serving the Russian presidents, including: Olympia (2002–2009), was used by the Russian President Vladimir Putin during his first and second terms. Sirius (2010–), was firstly used by the Russian President Dmitri Medvedev Graceful (2018–), the most recent presidential yacht. The Russian government also employing the special vessel named Rossiya which was built during the Soviet Union, and used in the internal waters. In 2003 ship named Burevestnik was commissioned to serve the Russia's leaders.[5]
Turkey Presidential Yacht Savarona – The current Turkish presidential yacht; prior to 2010 privately leased while her replacement (below) was in development New presidential yacht – The Turkish Government has currently commissioned a new 50 m yacht for the personal use of the president and visiting heads of state. Details of this new yacht first surfaced in September 2008.[6][citation needed] The yacht is being built at the Istanbul Naval Yard, Pendik, Istanbul and is reported to have a ballistic hull, surface-to-air missiles and high-tech equipment.
United States In the past, the United States employed presidential yachts serving the American president:
USS Mayflower (1906–1929), was decommissioned as a result of economy measures just prior to the Great Depression. USS Potomac (1936–1945) USS Williamsburg (1945–1953) the most recent presidential yacht was USS Sequoia (1933–77).
Yugoslavia The most famous is Galeb, the yacht of Marshal Josip Broz Tito.
In Nigeria, experience had shown that the Presidential-Jet flies off most of the times without carrying the President, or anyone who is officially acting in the capacity of the President.. The Presidential-Jet had been successfully converted to the President’s Family-&-Friends unpaid means of transportation. So, the Presidential-Yacht will just be leaving the Nigerian Coast to other countries, carrying “consignments” in-and-out of the country.. AND THE PRESIDENT WILL NOT BE ON IT AS IT GOES AND COMES.
Nigerians too dey compare.
Out of the 190+plus countries in the world, you just listed only 9 here. And you think it is enough reason to include Nigeria? Just because 9 out of 190+plus has it?
