Since we defend the indefensible in Nigeria... To the extent we defended gazelle gagarraga..
So, let me try to defend this lion too.
1. Maybe the grasses are rich in protein (this one is just for fun). 2. The grass might be smelling like raw meat. 3. There might had been some remaining meat inside the mouth of that the lion, which the lion had been chewing before the video started recording, and thus it looked as if the lion was eating grass. 4. Some termites and/or flying-ants might have perched on the leaves in large quantities., And the lion was feasting on them.
GboyegaD: This is stupidity. You killed a child for a man that could leave you tomorrow? Where is the father of the child? Were they not once in love like she is now?
Frustration has corrupted her normal way of thinking.
She is no more normal.
She is a burden to herself already. And she wants some unfortunate lover to bear her burden of herself for her on her behalf.
And now, she thinks that her child is the stumbling block to her freedom. She is a slave to herself. She's no more normal.
It's just a biigg pity that she had to kill an innocent child
blacknp: As usual penguin2 deceiving yourself? Perennial Wailers waiting for the Zoo courts to dispense so called justice in their favor, Something INEC couldn’t help you with, now you are looking for another reason to wail in future?
Now your future is hinged on Buhari’s appointed judge Monica Dongban-Mensem to help you? Same people that refused to release the terrorist Nnamdi Kanu your savior, will tell you that you won an election?
One thing is that...
All these kini-kan kini-kan must come (and happen) and pass in order to make our electoral process stronger..
Presidential Tribunal: Atiku, PDP apply for live broadcast of proceedings
As the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC, kick-starts hearing on Monday, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, have filed an application for an order to allow live coverage of day-to-day proceedings on the case they brought against the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
Atiku, who came second in the presidential election that held on February 25, in the motion he filed through his team of lawyers led by Chief Chris Uche, SAN, specifically applied for; “An order, directing the Court’s Registry and the parties on modalities for admission of Media Practitioners and their Equipments into the courtroom”.
The PDP candidate and former Vice President contended that the petition he lodged against the President-elect, was “a matter of national concern and public interest”.
He argued that the case involved citizens and electorates in the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, who he said voted and participated in the presidential poll.
More so, he drew attention of the court to the fact that the International Community is equally interested on issues pertaining to Nigeria’s electoral process.
In the motion dated May 5, Atiku and the PDP insisted that their case against Tinubu, being a unique electoral dispute with a peculiar constitutional dimension, they said it was a matter of public interest in which millions of Nigerian citizens and voters are stakeholders, with the constitutional right to be part of the proceedings.
“An integral part of the constitutional duty of the Court to hold proceedings in public is a discretion to allow public access to proceedings either physically or by electronic means.
“With the huge and tremendous technological advances and developments in Nigeria and beyond, including the current trend by this Honourable Court towards embracing electronic procedures, virtual hearing and electronic filing, a departure from the Rules to allow a regulated televising of the proceedings in this matter is in consonance with the maxim that justice must not only be done, but must be seen to be done.
“Televising court proceedings is not alien to this Honourable Court, and will enhance public confidence”, the petitioners added.
Simeonjoe1: Bro it seems you're not getting me. If we decide to do diaspora voting then note that it won't be about electronic voting alone. Nigerians in western countries are exposed and can use the electronic means for voting, but what about Nigerians in poorer country where many might not have access to internet? Do you think it will be fair if they are excluded because we decide to do electronic voting online (note this is how the ruling party will argue this case, then later they will introduce other voting means for those here here).
Now this is where the problem starts, what's the entire population of Nigerians in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and other advance country? Are they up to 5M? note that this is the population you're relying on based on they are exposed and might favor your candidate. Now compare them to the population of Nigerians in Sudan(that already has 5M o 😭), Niger, Chad,Mali, Benin Republic, Togo and bordering countries, these are diaspora too. This will definitely be adding up to more than 20M individuals ( now what's even the total voting population within Nigeria self, 90M and then this is about 24% of our entire country votes). What all this goes on to show is that either legitimately or illegitimately there's no how diaspora voting will favor you, instead it will even widen the crack and give massive advantage to the ruling parties and people from the north since they can easily control this massive diaspora.... Why diaspora voting seems good on paper, let's strengthen our local voting system then we can talk about diaspora voting. If you want to vote in Nigeria then come down here to vote, you can't be abroad and determined who will be ruling people here for now.
Penguin2: But I thought Nairaland resident Tinubu boys said the passport was edited?
Let me see how they will react now that their headquarters have admitted to the authenticity of the passport.
Meanwhile, just like they argued about Tinubu’s drug case, that it was Tinubu’s Bank Accounts that were sued and not Tinubu, that’s how they are now saying his Guinean citizenship is honorary.
It’s becoming obvious on a daily that God brought Tinubu to the top so that his embarrassment would be loud.
Honestly.. This had to be done. So that we know the true “Living” voters.
Two election cycles are too short though.. Let them make it three..
Thus, in-between the three elections is a total of Eight Years of absolute electoral inactivity.. Thus, the person had been politically inexistent for MORE THAN eight complete years.
