Obingos no go understand. Remember Buhari moved around with a team. Tinubu was among the members of the team he moved around with. De-ja-vu. Everything are now repeating themselves again. What a “Consentesan” he is. One who cannot think for himself |

Tinubu had already shown that he is a man of cronies.
He doesn't have his own final stand on things.
He is just going to be a figure-head. Other people will do the bulk of the decision-making for him. And they will just paint their decisions to him in a good light. And he puts down his signature..
His brain won't be doing the thinking. (No wonder he even had the guts to say that “THEY” told him not to deviate from the script..... Who are the “THEY”?? They are the puppeteers in control of him, and he is their puppet. WE DON'T WANT PUPPETS AS PRESIDENTS AGAIN).. |

CoronaVirusRelo: Definitely!
A letter will definitely follow!
When a boss says "You are fired" you definitely know a letter will hit your mailbox.
And for the fact that Soludo was PERSONALLY there, he does not need a lawyer to ascertain if contract was violated. He saw it and ended it. If the contractor feels it violates terms of agreement, he can head to court. And with the vidoe of what I saw, I personally know contractor can never win such case. Quality=0 Ok. And to the second part of the question I asked. A new Contractor had already been engaged. I really don't think that one is true..Like, so fast? And to even start work on the site the following day. |

CoronaVirusRelo: Definitely!
He knows the terms and condition of contract, and if he feels any has been violated, he has a sole right to terminate through any form of communication! But the contract won't be deemed terminated, until the contractor receives a letter to that effect,, right?? And before that, the legal department must have gone through the contract agreements and the terms and conditions of the contract in order to ascertain that the contractor actually violated them as speculated... Right?? |

Going by the earlier thread that made it to the front-page earlier.... (Soludo Visits Road Site Unannounced, Terminates Contract Over Incompetence)https://www.nairaland.com/7464642/soludo-visits-road-site-unannouncedI couldn't stop wondering about the things which the Governor said inside the video. 1. That he had already called the Commissioner for Works to terminate the Contract -- and that the contract had already been terminated.2. That the new contractor that would take over from the old contractor would be on the site the next day to take over from where the other contractor stopped... Like, is that how Governors can make calls and have contracts terminated?? And then, a new standby contractor given the job already through making phonecalls,, without passing through the appropriate due-process protocols for contract-awarding?? |

This man is a national risk. Just like Buhari disowned everything that was said by Party-Members (including those said by Tinubu). If you had used your last 7 years abusing and insulting Buhari, you still have another 8 years to wail and insult Tinubu and his region.
After the 16 unbroken year's of hate, jealousy, envy and insult, you will need to sit down and look back to count the scores for 16years
That is when you will realised that you have wasted most parts of your life hurting yourself. You will see yourself as a prisoner who imprisoned himself because of other peoples success This one just described himself |

KwaraRat: Not making any sense .
Even your assertion of true productive employment proves that little is produced to add value to the economy through labour .
You just contradicted yourself by stating that the work force is not productively employed and that most people earn a living either through rent seeking or in jobs that are totally not useful e.g. Civil service that is more of a welfare scheme . Civil Service is a welfare scheme?? I'm done discussing with you bro |

KwaraRat: We will be going round circles with these DisObidient louts who want to turn convention upon its head in lame defense of the gaffes by their messiah.
An import based economy is a shelf stacking one where goods consumed are produced outside of its economy.
You import because you do not have the means and capacity to produce goods that will be priced competitively.
There is no going around this.
You can only export when you have the means to produce goods that can be competitive in pricing. Do we continue to continue with the status quo?? Where the bulk of the resources are looted by the elites?? and the remaining ones shared amongst the cronies of the elites.?? The time for feeding on looted money and sharing of free-money is over. |

KwaraRat: So what kind of economy is an import based one ? In as much as I understand what you're trying to say,, but then, this question of yours has digressed from the subject of the topic though. 1. Nigeria is not an import-based economy, and you know that 2. The “little” imports that Nigeria is doing is Not the main cause of the depletion of the Foreign-exchange reserves. 3. The individuals in the system are not actually working for their money,, and it had been affecting the economy negatively. (That's the subject of the topic.)The economy of import and export would be treated on another day. |

A net importing economy is one where capital flows out from leading to a deficit economy.
KwaraRat: So what kind of economy is an import based one ?

Moh247:

If you want to see Tinubu speak, download his campaign time table, his manifesto and wait for his town hall meeting in your town or your community
Make sure you tune in always to TVC news, especially to watch him speak live at chattam house on his Foreign policy
*Tinubu visited Arewa house Kaduna, and told Northerners directly his plans on Security
*Tinubu visited Imo State to talk to Ibo business men about his plans on Federal credit facilities to stimulate their businesses
*Tinubu has met with head of foriegn missions and Diplomats from Isreal, America, South Africa, India, France, and has discuss foreign collaborations, partnership and bileteral agreement on trade and security
*Tinubu was in Warri to speak directly with ex militants, and people from Niger Delta Oil producing states, telling them his plans for them
If Atiku and his PDP minions like Obi and Kwankwaso like they can permanently leave at AriseTV or AsleepTV studios, that couldn't generate 10,000 live streams accross YouTube and Facebook
. How many his so-called Town-Hall meetings in the various states had he answered direct questions from the people?? |

First of all, that a country is not a “Productive Country” is ‘NOT NECESSARILY’ a country that depends on the importation of its FOOD.
It is actually a country that has absolutely NOTHING which it is producing.. That is, it is not Producing and Goods, OR SERVICES.
When anybody says that “Nigeria is majorly a ‘Consuming’ Country”, it simply means that a lot of the money in the hands of the people -- and which the people are recklessly spending -- are Not gotten by doing things that are part of any Production Value-Chain.
(That is, such money in their hands has absolutely nothing to do with the Production of any form of Goods and/or Services). (Such money annoy be taxed either).
Such monies are either stolen funds, embezzled funds, swindled funds, coveted funds, Ransom funds, “stumbled-upon-by-mistake” money etc.. (for the illegal ones); and then, gifts, inheritances, alms, offerings, begged money, and-so-on (for the legal ones) and all other types of funds that has no “input” value attached to it..
All these funds mentioned above cannot be tied to any productive activity, or to any “productive” value.,, yet, these types of funds account for the bulk of the money which most Nigerians are currently having.
MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT “CONSUMPTIVE ECONOMY” MEANS IMPORTATION....
THAT TYPE OF THINKING IS VERY VERY WRONG.. |
