PUBLIC NOTICE ANNOUNCEMENT

PROF CHUKWUMA CHARLES SOLUDO, CFR, WILL BE FORMALLY SWORN IN AS GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE, THURSDAY, MARCH 17, 2022

Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, Anambra State Governor-elect will officially be sworn in tomorrow, Thursday March 17, 2022 as the sixth democratically elected governor of Anambra

The solemn ceremony, which will be low key, will take place at Government House (Agu-Awka)

Invited guests are expected to be seated by 9:00am prompt.
Similarly, all accredited media Houses are to be at the venue before 8am

After the official swearing in, Prof Chukwuma Soludo will inspect a guard of honour and consequently makes his inaugural address to the people of Anambra State. Thereafter, an inter-denominational service will hold briefly before the new Governor immediately sets out to work

Please note: this event is strictly low key and devoid of the usual merry-making and unbridled celebrations usually associated with occasions of this nature

The Governor-elect however remains grateful to everyone for the outpouring of goodwill messages as well as the continous support from well-wishers and numerous supporters within and across the globe

I think It is a coding error from the new website creators.
All the results of the Elections that were conducted earlier than 2nd of February 2022 had the same issue.
That day (2nd February, 2022) might be the day the new website URL was created, and the results were not properly “relocated” from the old url to the new url.
All that they need to do is just to “debug” the codes.

If it isn’t there doesn’t mean it’s no more available after all, the paper-based results are still intact and can be requested when needed therefore it’s left for the contenders to go to the court of law to query it with evidence in their disposal for it to be scrutinized legally but if no one has decided to do that then it’s should be left for the aspirants to take it up legally if they doubt the outcome



Anyway, Agriculture is life.

1. In Nzukwuoye Ezeigwe 1 Polling-Unit of Abatete Ward, APC got 642 votes, while APGA got only 12.

2. This other result was so untidy with lots of dirty cancellations everywhere, yet it was uploaded to the Results Portal that way. The name of the Polling-Units and Ward was not clear, but APC got 1018 votes, while APGA got only 44 votes.

3. In this other result from Abatete Ward, APC got 441 votes, while APGA got only 12 votes.

When the Polling-Units-Results that were posted on the Online Results Portal were added together and compared with the final results of the Local Government as they were being announced live on the television, it was observed that all the other results in all other LGAs were agreeing close enough with to a very acceptable extent (both as announced by the INEC and as computed from the Results Portal), except for the results from Idemili-North LGA and Onitsha-South LGA.

The figures that were computed from the results on the Results Portal were far larger than the figures that were being announced by INEC.

It was later revealed by INEC that there were gross malpractices in those LGAs.

But one thing is very clear...
It wasn't the Politicians that uploaded the fake results on the Results Portal..
The politicians don't know anything about the device...
The politicians cannot use the device.
It was the INEC’s employed field-officials who conducted such fake elections and quickly uploaded the fake results to the portal.
And yet, all of such fake results were totally ignored by the INEC when the authentic results were being announced live on the television.
And now, the INEC wants to treat such gross misconduct and fraudulence with soft gloves? As if they don't know who the field-officials that were involved are, or how to get hold of them?

Must we continue to continue like this?

The INEC should look seriously into this matter.
Because, if it got swept aside so easily like that, then it might end up becoming a huge dent on the good name of INEC, and not only that..

It was reported that the URL to the INEC’s Online Results Portal had been changed from www.inecelectionresults.com to www.inecelectionresults.ng.

It was also reported that “all previously registered user-credentials from the old URL remain valid on this new URL”.

But there is something very very wrong with this new Portal.
All the Results of all the Earlier Elections are missing on the portal.
In Fact, all the results that were conducted in 2020 and 2021 are no more available on the new Portal.

For instance, House of Assemblies Elections that were held as far back as 08/08/2020 now has a date of creation of “2nd February, 2022” on the Portal.
Same thing also happened with the results of all the Elections that were held earlier than February 2022.
All the results now have a creation date of “2nd February, 2022”.
(Including the Anambra Governorship Election of 6th November, 2021)

Only the most recent Elections which were conducted after “2nd of February 2022” that the results could be seen on the portal.

And I am not sure that the INEC’s ITC-Department are aware of this glitch yet.
This is a big slap on the face of INEC.
It is a big shame that they could be so careless with such an important data.
