Meanwhile, I like the fact he is using JB for his road construction and not the quackie Chinko firms that're now all over Nigeria churning out sub standard construction projects.

RomanceRe: Total Abstinence... Major Risk Or Not? by BluStreak(m): 5:34pm On Nov 12, 2015
henribj:
total abstinence is being preached by the bible, and as is the case with the bible, it is never wrong.
look at it this way, if everyone abstained from sex till marriage, do you think anyone would know that different men perform differently in bed? if there was abstinence from sex, no woman would ever expect so much in bed from her partner because whatever she gets sexually from her partner, she would believe it is the same other women are also getting from their partners, so therefore their won't be a need to compare one's sexual life with that of other people.
unfortunately since majority of people do not practice abstinence, women have come to learn and expect certain things sexually from their partner.
Well, your submission would have nailed it if every man/woman also keep their sexual exploits to themselves. But since there exists human interactions and some divulge to one another (mostly very close friends) the indescribable wonders they experience with their partners during the act. In summary, since there exists human interactions, the variations will still be exposed thereby making some people feel short changed and looking to fill the gaps.

I am not married but I served as a mediator in matrimonial cases at a ministry of justice.Madam, take time out to talk to your husband, let him know the game is up.This is not the time for raised voices and tears.Instead of going through a divorce, you can arrange for marriage counselling for both of you. That way you can air your grievances before a neutral person.I have done a lot of divorce cases, and trust me when I say, work it out.The incident is not enough for you to start considering divorce. The marriage is not irretrievably bad yet.Besides, maybe you are not aware of this,95 percent of nigerian men cheat!that's the plain truth. Its just that most are gurus at covering their tracks well.Your husband was just sloppy about it.If you didn't check his phone, would you have known?Again, its a good thing his lifestyle has been exposed, that's why you have to talk it out.He has to be reminded that there's a high risk of veneral diseases and other attendant consequences of cheating.Depending on how you go about this issue,I am sure he should be able to change his ways.I still insist that you work it out.Thankfully, you agreed that he is a great husband in other areas. So just push divorce far from your mind, and salvage your marriage. If all this fails, then your conscience would be clear that you made an effort to fix it,but he wasn't willing to meet you halfway.God will see you through this.
May I digress a lil'bit.
@queenfav, having not been married and you are in an organisation that exposes you to marital problems mediation which most might likely be as a result of infidelity on the man's part, I am just wondering (I have not implied that you do) if it will not cause you to have trust issues with men. How are you dealing with that?

Stories like this gives hope to the hopless
Will you agree with me that it usually is not all the hopeless that receives the elusive hope? Wouldn't it have made more sense for any lady to avoid sinking into hopelessness by taking the right step? The right step here includes among other things, not raising a very high stake for a would-be suitor.
FamilyRe: Friendship With Opposite Sex After Marriage by BluStreak(m): 7:11am On Nov 04, 2015
Swissheart:
It is wrong to keep close friendship with an opposite sex after marriage....not like they have bn friends before marriage. She spoke negatively of d guy before but now,he is an angel......Your wife seems to me as a good woman.Stop d friendship.....you should be her best friend and you shouldn't have to worry over her other friends if things were right.Talk to her,let her understand that she is married and she should place her worth as one.Why would she be showing you the SMS self?why would she tell you to check her phone......doesn't sound good to me.
Showing him the messages is a pure diversionary measure to get the hubby off their case.

The truth of this matter is, such relationship most often never ends well. Men are a very patient breed when they have a target. He is most likely baiting your wife. Unfortunately, your wife is already emotionally involved with this guy, she's gonna go discrete on you if and when you put you foot down and demand a stop to it.

You need a different approach. Start all over to love her in a different way. Keep her busy thinking about you. Take her out more, love her more, more s#x and so on. The guys matter will fade away faster than the smell of a cheap perfume.

Guy, I have been there done that. To help you shed this cloak obscuring your better judgement, take a 3 months time out with your lady to enable you graze at the other side you feel the grass is greener. If you don't do 'Usen Bolt' back to this your unrefined lady and put a ring on it, count me out.

Those upwardly mobile, classy, sengemenge (sic) chicks are nothing to write home about. "Permit me to say, there are a few good once though sparsely scattered finding one will be like a needle in a hay stack".

She is your wife and no one is gonna share her with you. Be proud of her, make money and clean her up and see yourself enjoying the best of both worlds.

RomanceRe: Why Is It So? by BluStreak(m): 5:57am On Nov 03, 2015
In the past, men ruled over everything and toils to bring home spoils of his toiling to take care of the home front. Use his strength to protect is. Women then were seen as trophies, baby makers, gifts, incentives, belongings and an entertainment. Once a man has put down anything in exchange for her, she automatically becomes his possession and NO OTHER SHALL TASTE HER LILLY. Going against that could result to stoning to death.

It was similar across the world but mostly in Rome which controlled the greater part of Europe and in Africa.

At Grahyt,

You quoted OP's post without saying anything at the end of it. Lol - sleep still dey catch you this morning?

At OP,

Check out a thread in the romance section titled ''If You Are 30+ and Single Let's Talk''. I think it might help.

Siamia a lady authored the thread and a WhatsApp chat group was created to enhance healthy friendships & romantic relationships in a safe, secure and be your brother's keeper kind of way.

Siamia vouches that members are authentic & sincere, well truth is she only said that about the men I don't know about my gender.

Read the thread first (the few pages you can) and then decide if you want to join the chat group and see where that leads to. No pressure ooo abeg just keep an open mind and explore the possibilities of friendships first.

Only tasteless and classless women will be all over you because of your job, apartment and car. Tasteful women with class (like moi wink ) will be more concerned with your manners, personal hygiene & grooming then your overall comportment as a man.

Me - I'm a sucker for

1. Neat men with shaved armpits, clean underwear and surroundings. That your apartment won't count if its messy & untidy.

2. Well spoken & written English which reveals a depth of intelligence (like that dude LordReed I am electronically attracted to him just for his written English too bad he's married).

3. Courteous & well mannered men amongst other things like lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

No offence meant bro, but I ain't really feeling your written English enough to gravitate towards you as a woman. It's good but could be better with punctuation marks where necessary. Just saying no offence meant.
shocked Your number 3 says "Courteous & well mannered men amongst other things like lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed" tongue I know what that is but I aint saying . . . . grin

I like the new breed of Nigerian females. Owning up than dying in silence and living in denial.

Car TalkRe: Help! My Car Jecks And Vibrates When AC Is On.. by BluStreak(m): 11:25am On Oct 18, 2015
A car idling at 1200rpm is almost twice the accepted normal of between 600 - 700rpm. It's way too high and abnormal. The fact that the rpm drops to 800 when you turn on the AC is an indication that your car has been overly tampered with. Ordinarily, your engine rpm should slightly go up by a fraction of the idling rpm when you add a load like AC instead of coming down which is the case in yours. I am assuming all the vacuum hoses in your engine has either been routed wrongly, blocked by various Kazeems that's worked on the car in the past or many of the electric controlled valves failed. To get that engine to work as should will take a good auto technician and loads of time. Cash will be involved too o.

if your instrument cluster (gauges) are flickering and moving erratically . . you have a ground problem . . could be corroded battery terminal or broken cables . . .

but since you confirmed your radio/clock resets and doesn't work sometimes, it's a fault of the BCM - body control module . . .
as mayor said, cos it controls almost all electrical parts asides engine and transmission . . . they hardly go bad, but yes, they do like most parts ..

if you were submerged in flood, your IPDM (intelligent power distribution module) might be toast. . . some vehicles allow you to do an auto-cycle test to confirm if the IPDM is working or dead . . . Google it

Thanks bro. I,ll give that a shot on saturday.

If you can get a Factory service manual, you have half solved the problem, I think very seriously that this is a ground problem, because when one ground has developed a high resistance, the components will try to route the current flow from another ground wire thereby turning on other components connected to those wires, therefore get a factory service manual and get directions for all the ground points in the car, also I may add that the lock cylinder has something to do with this, the bottom line is that factory service manual.
I have a factory service manual I downloaded but its for the 1998 model. Though they share the same engine and some similarities in the dash, I doubt if component locations outside the engine are one and same. Av tried unsuccessfully to download the 2000 - 2002 models service manual to no avail. I wish someone has got one.

Is your car designed with a body system module? It's like a brainbox that controls most of the electronic parts in the car appart from the engine and transmission.
I can't say for sure. There is one other device that looks like a brain box on the center console under the dash but almost far from reach without removing the dash. I'll do a Google search on this body system module you just mentioned in relation to the car.
Car TalkRe: UPDATED: Heeeeelp With Car Gone Wild. by BluStreak(op):
UPDATE ON CAR GONE WILD:

Yesterday as promised, I tore wifey' scar apart as much as possible looking for traces of water on the inside and on its electronics. Bottom line, I didn't find any trace of water inside. I even brought out the brain box which was a tough job (pix attached), opened it and didn't find any trace of water. Note: I didn't touch any of the components to avoid reconfiguring its chips accidentally via static electricity even though I did attempt discharging myself by touching my flat front porch railings.

After checking all the suspected places and didn't see any trace water, I had to put the car back together. The problem is still there o and there is even an issue I didn't mention. Whenever the ignition is turned to the off position, the car looses all forms of electricity and the clock and AC will reset. The roof, hood and door lights don't come on anymore when I open either the door or hood. The car still doesn't star except I plug in my ODBII Diag Tool. I can't recall if I mentioned that when I start the car with the ODBII scanner connected, the car works normal except the radio that doesn't get powered and the MIL will be pulsating (not flashing). If I remove the scanner, the car still idles and can engage in all transmissions but park which stalls the car immediately. Also if I attempt to rev up the while its idling with the ODBII scanner removed, the engine stalls. But with the ODBII, it will rev and even drive and park without stalling.

Abeg my gurus in the house, this one don pass me o. Who go come to my aid? I no wan make anyhow rewire come reconfigure the car comot from the manufacturers specs. I remember I once tried to scan a friend's car who has his MIL on and the car won't start with the scanner connected. But when I removed it, the car started. I tried again with my former stand alone $30 scanner and the same thing happened. So I no wan that kind parole.
