LeJeun3:

Well you didn't give complete details, like how many years has it been used in Nigeria!

LR3 is has its peculiar issues, but be sure of these 1: transmission, 2: suspension 3: Engine (is it a V6 or V8?)

If you are in Lagos, I could run a quick scan and give you a breakdown...... Number is in my signature!!
He bough it in 2012 and it wasnt an everyday drive according to him and the ride is in an almost new condition. Its a 4.0 V 6 Engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission, I drove it and the movement is awesome. I want to also mention that I am very glad its a V6 engine instead of a V8 like the Toyota GX470 which is another SUV I am crazy about.

So guys abeg una o, I wan know more about this ride. Make una helepie meeee o. grin

RomanceRe: Why Do Men Cheat? by BluStreak(m): 4:52pm On Jan 09, 2016
OP, have you ever thought of this that; for every cheating man, there is a female cheating accomplice? The lady the man is cheating with also has a relationship. Funny enough, there are more women is relationships than there are for the male folks. If you look at it critically, women cheat as much or even more than men. The only caveat is, men most often are the ones to make the first move.

TravelRe: Interesting Places And Tourist Attractions In Lagos by BluStreak(m): 5:53pm On Jan 08, 2016
The traffic situation, agberos, bad roads and now traffic robbers are the undoing of Lagos tourism. Lagos has beautiful and modern places of attraction but for the highlighted issues, they are not being fully utilised. I wish things were different sad .
FamilyRe: My Husband Offended Me ... Need Opinions by BluStreak(m): 2:15pm On Jan 08, 2016
Glamdiva:
I need your opinions. I and my husband had a huge quarrel days back where we both exchanged words and spoke nasty at each other. However, he went as far as calling me a wh*re. Nobody in this life has ever called me such a derogatory word before. I’m highly offended but I’m not hurt. He also went as far as saying that I don’t know how to have sex and that I’m terrible in bed. Im so pissed off that I have lost all interest in having sex with this man for now. This is a man that can barely stand me riding him because he can hardly last 6 mins. I have never reached orgasm with him yet I have always made it a point of duty to never let that distract me. I want to know if I am over reacting by staying away from him and what do you all think of his actions towards me as I see this issue as something that will linger on for a while because I’m finding it hard to forgive him and I’m seriously thinking about constantly cheating on him now that he has called me a who*re
Madam goody-two-shoes, if cheating is the only way you know to solve your marital issues, then go ahead and cheat. For you to even think of cheating on him constantly is an indication you already have a ready collaborator in the waiting. I pity some of the marriages of today - nothing but just marriages of convenience. I gotta marry because all my friends are married. Mcheeeeeeeeeew undecided undecided undecided
FamilyRe: Can Sex Keep A Man? by BluStreak(m): 6:43am On Jan 08, 2016
Sex only keeps a man if it's accompanied with a good heart, humility and great culinary skills. If all you can offer is sex, the image of him you see is only a mirage.
Car TalkWhat Do I Need To Know? 2005 LR3 by BluStreak(op): 3:08pm On Jan 05, 2016
I need a quick info on 2005 LR3. I have always loved the Rover SUVs. I have always dreamt of owning one and almost bought a right-hand drive Freelander until I was advised against conversion.

Now I got a super deal on a neatly used black 2005 LR3 with navigation. I drove it o and movement is still excellent. The seller has 2 other superb SUVs and said he is selling to for a quick cash.

Please what do I need to know about this ride in terms of maintenance and associated problems peculiar to the LR3.

I know being a Landrover series, maintenance will be a bit steep but its not gonna be a daily ride.

FamilyMarriages & Handheld Mobile Devices - Its Effects by BluStreak(op): 9:54am On Jan 05, 2016
It has become imperative to take a salient look at the effects of smart hand held devices on relationships and human interaction with focus on marriage. These devices are awash with gaming apps like Candy Crush, information and entertainment sites like Nairaland, instant messaging apps like Whatsapp, Facebook, fashion and gossip blogs like Linda Ikeji and so on; the list is endless, that can keep one glued for hours on end oblivious of his/her surrounding. It is also a known fact that most individuals cannot spend 2 hours on a stretch without reverting to their mobile devices except perhaps when asleep. With all these in mind, I want us to dissect this topic and take a look at the under listed questions.

1. What effect has the advent of these devices had on today's marriages?

2. No doubt they are very important in our daily lives in this 21st century, how do you balance the distractions they create in other to foster the intimate relationship that should exist between couples and even their children where there are kids in the mix.

3. Will it be right to assume that these devices has further stifled life out of whatever that is left in today's marriages occasioned by the daily chores of striving to survive in a harsh economy like we find ourselves?

Questions to be asked are inexhaustible but I narrowed down to this few just to make it a brief read. You are however at liberty to touch whichever areas you feel concerned.

In my own view, there were stronger bond in marriages some 10 - 15 years ago than exits today.

What say ya all?

Lalasticalla, you will agree with me this is a FP material.
FamilyRe: How Do I Correct This.... by BluStreak(m):
@OP, before the table turns against you, take the matter to her parents before she does. This is because, if she does before you, she is definitely going to paint a different and demeaning pictures about you and her family will believe her story, after all they are her family you know. And guess what? That will make you the bad guy in the fold.

You are a good man, don't let your wife drive you to an early grave. She definitely will find someone else to comfort her and you will be gone for good.

FamilyRe: New Year Rant!!! by BluStreak(m): 8:59am On Jan 02, 2016
@unhappy, your concern is genuine and I feel your fears. Your family's story will be an enviable one tomorrow. I am glad your submission it that you have a good man. Stand by him. Encourage but don't push him. Men/husbands hate to be pushed when they are down. Encourage and support his course and throw in your suggestions and ideas with pointers on its feasibility.

One last things, DONT STOP LOVING HIM because of where he is at the moment. No husband ever forgets his wife that stood by him through the storms. Women shouldn't mix a woman that stayed back but nagged her husband to the edge of insanity till luck smiled at him with a woman that stood and supported her husband to victory. They are two opposites.

God bless all the virtuous wives out there. Ya'all are Gems.

I read your post
Unfortunately NL is not the same as it used to be
People no longer feel safe to post real stories and share experiences here because if they do, the day they have a "fight with someone there stories will be dragged out and used against the person, hence people just post for light relief

If not, many people will honestly advise you that what you are doing/about to do is no big deal.
See many of us help our husbands in different ways. Forget all the men beating their chests that they cant let their wives do this and that.
Forget all those pictures of Range Rovers you see ladies posting on Instagram that their husbands bought for them.
Many women are bringing in the bacon and many are supporting with obtaining contracts, jobs and many are sponsoring their mens education and career advancement.

I know of father inlaws who have provided jobs, houses, cars and paid even fees for post graduate degrees abroad for their sons in laws.
Its not big deal if you have a sensible FIL, husband and wife. If you marry well then these things don't matter.

Especially in a country in Nigeria, many men need a helping hand across the river.
Even in obodo oyibo many men are changing career, studying for certification etc while the wife goes to work and holds the fort. I know heaps of men who have done/doing that.

My own husband changed career when we decided that the pinnacle of where he was though was satisfactory would not afford us the life style that we wanted.
He took a paycut and retrained. During that period I tried my hand at a lot of things, Ebay, event decorating, and I started a business.
In 2 years he was done and earns double what I earn now and I tease him when he starts complaining about how the tax man is dealing with him grin
I understand that some women don't feel comfortable with putting all their eggs in one basket but if you marry right, and put it all to God, then there should be no fear.

If you have married the right man, and he is a decent man and he has the fear of God, don't worry, do all that you can for him especially if you love the man.

A decent man wont forget your sacrifice and he will do everything within his power to make you happy.

My advise to you is will be in my next post.
I can be very emotional and this woman has just brought me to tears embarassed . What can I say to you? For you I have to weather the storm on the summit of mount Everest so I can stretch fought these hands and pull down the all-encompasing-blessings of God on you. If there are more wives like you out there, there will be less men in drinking parlours by sun down.

God bless the womb that bore YOU, bless the man that found YOU and bless your home.

FamilyRe: The Fruit Of The Womb: Lamentation From A Married Man. by BluStreak(m): 6:55pm On Dec 31, 2015
I hope you and wifey are engaging in baby making dance at the right time? This is one area a lotta folks ignore. A woman has an average of 72hrs to conceive in any giving cycle and based on hubby's sperm mortality rate, it could be more or less.

My advice will be, work with your woman to figure out when she ovulates. Some women feel cramps on that day which usually falls mid-cycle while others feel a heightened desire for s€x. If you guys can successfully figure it out, do your baby making dance as many times as possible on that day and the day after. I assure you there will be result since you have both been certified fit.

FamilyRe: Upside Down Marriage by BluStreak(m): 5:52pm On Dec 29, 2015
Guy! Guy!! Guy!!! You just need to take a walk. If you can compile enough evidence and also have people testify for you, you will get custody of your daughter. Children are one of the things that keep both men and women in bad marriages. For the men with a heart, they can't bear their lovely child(ren) call another man daddy or even miss the awesome growing up stages. Those experiences are irreplaceable. In this your case however, the woman is a monster and with all you have said, court will grant you custody of your little girl. Pls file for a divorce before you loose your life. You are sitting on a mine field and the wrong foot forward is just a step away.

Run guy ruuuuun.

Lonely ko lonely ni. U beta thank God for ur case.

I'm d only child of parents too and they're not 2gether. My dad left for anoda woman since I was a baby claiming that my mother's rigidity is unbearable. It is that unbearably rigid mother that raised me alone. There was no such thing as pampering, its d last thing u would see here. Flogging to bleeding point and going to bed hungry as punishment is what my childhood was full of. To play with my peers was a taboo. That's to mention a few

Men came but her heart is hardened and she's been single since then. My maternal uncle and aunts left us alone cuz of her wahala and I don't knw my paternal ones. I have to relate with certain family friends and my dad without her knowledge just for peace sake. Men means nothing to her and she even threaten them on little mistakes cuz she works with d force. Her work is anoda issue I don't like telling ppl abt cuz she doesn't spend or gives me much believing that she'll loose all her investment on me to my dad. Yet me on my own part don't want to be familiar with my dad's family yet cuz I don't trust my stepmum over my life since I'm d only one for my mum who doesn't even value me. Do u knw what it means to have a battered ego from a masculine and domineering mother?

So my dear, ure not lonely at all. At least u gat care. Loneliness is not loneliness if poverty and lack of care is not experienced with it. So thank God for ur own
embarassed embarassed this brought me to tears. Please take heart bro. Pls try to shake off the negativity as you journey through life so you won't replicate it on ur wife and kids. It is well with you.

We really don't know what blessings we have until we hear other people's story. I bless your name God for the privilege I had.

Not all broke guys will remain broke, the rich ones of today were once poor dudes of yesterday. Money shouldn't be a citerial for choosing a husband material least we tempt God and miss out on our God given husband.

Some broke guys have ideals more richer than all this arrogant rich fvckers, all they need is opportunities to perfect their dreams. Y'all be careful ladies, not all that glitters are Gold, I would rather stay with a visionlistic broke dude with future plans than stay with a rich arrogant dude that thinks everything rotate around him alone. ( speaking from experience)

And by the way, its more fun to be with a broke dude and watch him build everything from scratch to a mansion. You gonna look back and smile, and you know you deserved it.
Please take this "French Kiss". Let me top it with a "Forehead Kiss". In fact I am feeling generous, take this light one on your neck. Just one more to go - it's a whisper in your ears "You are sooooo sweet".
