Gianluigizona: NNPC don't plan to recruit once in 10 years... so in as much 1200 will not completely fill out the vacancies, at a minimum the NNPC will always have justification to employ at least every 3-5 years.
The end is near as much as I know... by latest 2nd/3rd week in August. (A director mentioned this month, i.e the whole process ends this month). Anyhow August is safe. Was told results were being compiled as the interviews were ongoing.
Fingers crossed. Now this is some Aji-no-moto & Onga filled sauce |

Gandollaar: If you are Yoruba, gird your loins. Fulanis of Nigeria extraction have recruited millions of fulanis from other countries and they have encompassed the country battle ready!
The Sahara is greatly encoaching and global warming is doing it's best to worsen the situation and these herders must perpetrate their trades which is cattle rearing.
These herdsmen love their cows even more than their own children. That's their life. That's the way it is. Kill any of their children and they would dismiss it as the will of Allah, but touch one of their cattles and you and your entire family will be history!
RUGA has failed, now they will activate plan b.
You are going to be so slaughtered you would either beg for RUGA or be forced to defend yourself. How old are you? Go and play ball outside. |

So sad that people are allowing their bitterness and frustration to drive them towards fanning the embers of war in this country. |

Livefreeordieha: it will be erroneous to just accept the story on face value my opinion though...
Many times when I was younger travelling on that road we escaped and experienced deadly robberies...
And to think I schooled at okada.. I should be the last to accept it... Because I know how deadly that axis is.. Or perhaps things have changed...
In 1998 my brother shot at robbers there because they were shooting at us, he had his gun licensed ofcourse.. He was furious and I was in my teens but I saw action movie life.. They scampered for safety.. If anything shouldn't be taken at face value, it is the story of mischievous elements who accused herdsmen without a shred of proof. Not the eye witness account of her driver. |

So sad, may her soul rest in peace. However from the eye witness account of her driver, there was nothing to even suggest that the attack was done by any Fulani herdsmen. "We had a stop over to by soft drinks at Ore. We were attacked Ore toll gate by some masked men who emerged from the bush.
“At this point, madam asked me to reverse which I did.
“They started shooting at us and other vehicles.
“In the process my boss was hit by bullets. Some of us in the vehicle escaped. We later rushed her to the hospital where she gave up the ghost” he stated. It makes any thinker wonder if we just started having masked armed robbers on our highways. Did they all suddenly repent at once? Or did they go on holiday? Let us use our brains for goodness sake. We should be careful in labeling every killing in the south to herdsmen because not only does it mean we cannot find the true killers as we are pointing in the wrong direction, but we are also dancing to the tune of enemies of this country who seem to want a war between Yoruba and the North for their selfish and wicked interests. |

Lovelyn451: There are Fulani's in every part of this world but no country has ever deemed them fit of any representation except Nigeria and I blame the Hausa's, of all their beautiful cultural heritage they decided to allow a wanderer represent them....that's none of my business though Have you ever wondered why it's only outsiders seeing and crying about Fulani dominating Hausas? You people are so ignorant and loud at it. Hausas and Fulanis have integrated so deeply for so long that we feel like one ethnic group. Argue with yourselves. Herding is a proud heritage of the Hausa Fulani people and that's why it's continually featured on our currency and most important national symbols, regardless of the militant killers masquerading as legitimate herdsmen. FYI Fulanis have been President in other African countries so you're just deluding yourself. |

gbenga44: Panel 4 here! EH! But what section were they interviewing for? Sales/Marketing I was interviewed for Transformation Officer which is an upstream change management role. I met some marketing/management professionals in my batch so you are likely right. The panel's remarks after my session included "That was a quick, exciting session unlike others today..." and "It seems you're already a player in the oil industry..." (when I managed to weave in production sharing contracts concessions & tax breaks into my answer to the question that sought government fiscal incentives designed for the oil industry, and blasting the upstream/downstream differentiation question - thanks to Jarus). What date and time were you interviewed? Did you also find them to be quite relaxed & cheerful? What was the nature of your questions? Cheers. |

Cavalier: Hello Everyone,I have heard Jarus and another interviewee say that they were Managerial candidates at the Mock Interviews and at the actual interview respectively. I applied for the Managerial position but have been told by some friends who are Managers in NNPC that they're doing the GT & EH first and then they would come around to the Managerial Interviews. With what I have heard from both Jarus and BMedia,I have my doubts now about what I have been told. So can our candidates who have interviewed confirm if they met other Managerial candidates at the Towers or it is just the Oga that BMedia met at his panel? Thanks in advance for your responses. Apart from the man I met that applied for managerial, I know of no other but I am certain he was interviewed on Monday before me. |

realfeu: 1. Please are phones allowed into the interview hall, or one will have to keep it out like during the CBT? 2. Also will we be allowed to take in things like awards, incase they ask one to prove the awards he claims to have on his CV or it won't be necessary? 1. Yes they are. 2. I also included an award in my CV but was not questioned about it. Another Oga in my batch who applied for managerial did the same but I didn't get a chance to ask if he was questioned about it. Just list it under achievements in your CV and take the award certificate along in case. No go carry award plaque/trophy o lol. |
