Cash withdrawal is no longer possible in foreign currency with your regular ATM card from outside the country. It is used to work before with $300 maximum threshold withdrawal until about 2 years ago when CBN instructed banks to stop it because of this kind of abuse. The no foreign cash withdraw policy was effected around May/June 2019. I have not been able to use my card since then unless the policy has been lifted now. Though I have not not tried my card of recent but I am very sure the service was suspended at a point in time. Please can any banker in the house throw more lights on this?

There's presently a restriction in Katsina, Zamfara, KADUNA to sell fuel in jerricans. Even with your car, you can't buy full tank because there's a threshold in place preventing the filling stations to sell as they wish. The objective of this new measure is to cut off fuel supply to bandits. They are smuggling the fuel to supply to bandits at a very high cost.

Between 2018 and 2019, Comfort Ogunlade, founder, Behind Farmer Global Ltd., an agricultural investment company in Iwo, Osun State, asked people to invest in the planting, harvesting and selling of cucumber, with a promise of 70 percent profit in five months.

There was also the offer of buying plantain from southwestern Nigeria, and then selling it in Lagos and Kwara State. The plantain business investment was expected to fetch the investors a monthly 10 percent return on investment.

The All Progressives Congress says former President Goodluck Jonathan will be given an opportunity to contest for the 2023 presidency if he joins the ruling party.

The National Secretary, APC Caretaker, and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee, John Akpanudoedehe, said this while featuring as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday.

He said this when asked about the speculations that Jonathan is considering to join the ruling party.

The APC official also said the ex-president will be granted a founding member status if he joins.

He, however, said the opportunity that will be given to Jonathan is not automatic, noting that he would compete with other members of the party before getting the ticket.
Akpanudoedehe said, “I am hearing that for the first time that we are expecting the former President. That will be great news. We will welcome him; that will also strengthen the party.

“The last National Executive Council of the party actually gave a blanket approval to any individual that if you join APC today, it is as if you are a founding member of the party.

Go and watch the video again. In the video the bandits were asking the government to ask the army to back out and the air forces to stop flying over their position which is a confirmation of the fact that they were surrounded.
The only objective of the video was to force government not to attack and accept dialog by proving to the world the boys were still alive.

They were surrounded by army and the air forces were flying over their heads 24/7. There was no way they could escape. Instead of killing the boys they traded them to save their lives. The government cannot jeopardize the lives of the boys. It was a win win situation.
