elirab and 1naira50kobo UK is just a stepping stone.. Not a final destination.. I knew that before coming.. The rate at which their own citizens run away from the country sef no be small thing.. And they are not immigration friendly... Therefore, the moment I landed, I started working on other countries... After 3 months, I decided Australia would be the best option for my set of circumstances... I was in the same boat as you by the way,, just turned 23 at the time and just started masters... That was last year May. My bachelors na for naija though... Anyway, point is, focus on both Australia and Canada if you have the money.... I focused on Australia alone cos I don't like negative temperatures but anyway, be determined, and it will all work out... Here I stand, 24, masters done, PR in the bag, leaving UK in a few weeks.... Heading to Australia.. The point of the whole story, where there is a will, there is a way.. You are on the right track, just focus.. Your time in the UK was not a waste, it will all work out in the end.. Cheers. |
Chai! Jesu.... May God grant him quick and miraculous healing o |
Mijac:That is the answer right there... ACS is your best bet.. Except you have the money to experiment with sha . Shuo, FTC on two consecutive pages? ![]() |
mamajaz:This single matter dey vex mamajaz... I merely mean I'm free to relocate at will.. Don't need to consult anybody ![]() |
Alphadoor:That should be easy to avoid.. The pesin no go just claim work experience for points.. |
Choco!! Acs dey verify this work experience? |
Alphadoor, I see... Educate me abeg... How man go go about am? |
WellEndowed:Bro, thanks for the good work you've been doing here... I just need some guidance regarding the matter of finding work in regional areas... Being a young single guy, the independence is there, I just don't know where to look... Tips will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks |
Wow. Just wow |
sammywemmy:Done, thanks ![]() |
Abeg how do you guys get these IOM people to answer you for flight matters? 15 mails and counting to three email addresses and dem no gree answer me o... Phone call, either make e no go, or dem no dey pick. Is there something I'm missing? ![]() |
akereconfi:its probably different then.. But well .. Donno sha |
akereconfi:I need to ask, is this BSc from Nigeria? Cos I've been hearing that ACS requires two years experience for positive assessment, which is why I haven't been able to drag all my computer science guys into this... |
Michaelamo:No vex, I only used the official "Road to IELTS" study materials during my IELTS preparations, so I don't really have any specific tips,.... All I remember be say, the questions can be tricky... Its very necessary to read the instructions, things like two words and a number, or not more than three words..... In addition, the obvious answer in the passage generally isn't the answer.. Its usually necessary to re-read it. I don't think this response is very helpful... I'm sure someone else has something better to say... Cheers ![]() |
Cottyekundayo:He was confused.... I applied for Assessment as an Electronic Engineer ... However, My episodes were neither fully Electrical nor fully Electronic.... Actually, one was fully Electrical, one was fully Electronic, and the third was both Electrical and Electronic..... So he said these episodes support an outcome of Professional Electrical Engineer and Professional Electronic Engineer,,, to finally classify me,, I should write a new episode.. And I was like, okay I prefer an outcome of Professional Electrical Engineer.... So I wrote another Purely Electrical episode.... And stated in the reply that professional Electrical engineer was my preference.. Imagine my surprise to see an outcome of Electronic Engineer ![]() But I no vex at all... Cos if his confusion had made him give me Technologist, the journey would have ended. ![]() |
congenial:on my test, we were 15 in the tiny room. You need to SHOUT as if you stepped on a nail !! It's your money, nobody is writing names of noisemakers ![]() |
gbengaolu360:Whether you select or not, they will still give you whatever THEY think you are a professional at.... So, no. No implication |
Camscanner is not bad. I merely prefer conventional scanners cos I don't want a situation whereby there'll be any suspicion of image tampering.... A scan at 600dpi eliminates such doubts... In addition, this process is too important, expensive and delicate to compromise over a minor inconvenience like finding a scanner... Just my opinion though |

Congratulations Mctowel01 ![]() |
Mcslize:It will. Average total cost for a single applicant is 1.5 - 2 Million Naira depending on the rates you get. You'll have leftover for flight and money to take along sef |
You don't need to notarize or certify anything.. Just upload very high quality COLOR scans |
saddyn:You won't be doing any "claiming" by yourself... The system will give you the points based on your birthday... So, hurry up and get yourself invited before 20th of October.... Cos on that date, the system will deduct 5 points from you. After you are invited, you are safe.. No change will affect you anymore |
Both. The materials are the same ones on the thread. Got them all here,... I think someone put a link on the previous page |
Mcslize:Age - 25 points Bachelors degree - 15 points English - 20 points |
ABUkAkA:I can't seem to find your email though. |
saddyn:Now this would be false information... You didn't specify which branch of Engineering you had your BACHELORS in..... They don't really reckon with masters... In addition, you don't need work experience as an engineer.. Jamson didn't use his, I didn't, Mctowel01 didn't, Funkyjo didn't, Iceberg54 didn't... To name a few. |
saddyn:I understand. However, nobody can convince you.... Its necessary for you to do your own research and compare with your unique circumstances... If it helps, from my research before jumping feet first into this, I was only able to determine three reasons that guarantee rejection.. 1. False/Falsified documentation 2. HIV/AIDS 3. A police character problem/Conviction/Terrorism If you don't have any of these issues, you're as fine as anybody else that has gotten the visa.. |
Degree - Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Assessing Body - Engineers Australia Assessment Outcome - Professional Electronics Engineer. |
Thanks oooo ![]() |
but anyway, be determined, and it will all work out... Here I stand, 24, masters done, PR in the bag, leaving UK in a few weeks.... Heading to Australia..
