Sunnybobo3:
Using inflation rate in an economy where Buhari set the price for essential commodities which were not available at those prices anyway is like using the 22 naira/$ official rate set by Abacha as the exchange rate in those days.
Do u think the guy is intelligent enough to understand u? I doubt!

tell the general that inec can't find his certificates.
He is one of the few senior military
officers in the history to
fail the Command and Staff College
exams as well as the senior military
examinations. While his senior military
colleagues, such as Ibrahim Babangida,
Tunde Idiagbon, Theophilus Danjuma,
Augustus Aikhomu and Abdulsalami
Abubakar have military suffixes after
their names, such as FSS; Psc; or MNI; buhari
has none.

Is it compulsory for him to bring it by hand?some people that comment on this issue are senseless and nonentity, let the INEC go for verification now, don't you know that military things are different? Well Na u Sabi.
Stop throwing invective, face the issue; which is easy? Going to swear affidavit or approaching the military board to retrieve, if any, his certificate? Why are u angry that inec is asking for buhari's certificate? The norm is u submit ur certificate later the body will write to verify. Please keep Fashola aside because he is a failure thriving only on propaganda.
U are wasting ur mb trying to enlighten the poor boy, he is incapable of reasoning objectively. He has been blinded by hate. Allow him to his folly.

What is wrong with INEC?
Rubbish efforts just to make sure he doesn't contest. GEJ is not going to have an easy win.
Shikena!!
Are u blaming inec for buhari's inability to present his certificate? If u were applying to get a job in the bank which u have put in application in previous years, do u refer the bank to ur previous applications? Think. Everything is not sentiment.

Note that Buhari was head of that military board in those days. Therefore, with a phone call to military board, Buhari can get the certificates.
So, why is buhari afraid of presenting his certificates?
it's no news that buhari failed all his exams but used the quota system to rise in the military. Buhari being a senior almajiri can provide his islamia certificate and we will understand. Afterall, sharia is recognized by the constitution.

The news title is grossly misleading.

His credentials are with the Secretary, Military Boards.
These are Military certficates not from a civilian University.

He has been running for elections in the past so this is not news
Did he (buhari ) give his original copies to the military board? Why is it difficult for him to retrieve it, or is military board buhari's inec?

The PDP governorship aspirant in Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has threatened to reverse the appointments of thirteen thousand teachers known as Ameachi's teachers as soon as he gets into office come 2015.

His word;
WHEN WE GET INTO OFFICE, WE SHALL REVERSE THE APPOINTMENT OF THE 13000 TEACHERS.

“They said they want to be vice president, they went and employed 13000 teachers, how many of these people are Rivers people? they gave out scholarship, how many of these people are Rivers people? They denied Rivers people of their employment. We shall reverse all these when we get into office“

A lot of the people screaming "Sai Buhari" are just ignorant little kids who never witnessed his tyrannical administration and are only deceived by propaganda.
That's why they believe every rubbish including the way he "cleared Nigeria's 15 billion naira debt with 50 million naira".

They lack the ability to research and verify things.
No! not that they can't research, but anything especially lies that can be used to discredit the present government and put buhari as their Messiah is welcome. It's the height of mischievous act.
To them flogging of adults means descipline.

Go and read about how Islam used force/violence to end about 1000 years of Christianity in Turkey. Today Turkey is about 99% Islam. However, this isn't the reason I will vote against buhari; the reason I will reject him is because he doesn't have any better ideology to administer Nigeria.

For me, %deprerciation is irrelevant in determining who the better manager is. In my books, if as a manager, your subordinates steal by the billions of naira with impunity through NNPC, Fuel Subsidy, ordering unauthorized bullet proof vehicles...the list goes on and on....then sir, that Oga at the top cannot be a better manager. Sir, this is who GEJ is, unfortunately, regardless of depreciation.
Well for me it does, what's the essence of data to a manager?
It may interest u to know that people who served in the buhari junta were equally as corrupt.
I Wii rather we agitate for strong government institutions, not personality.
Do u truly believe buhari can prosecute the corrupt politicians in apc? bearing in mind that this democracy, not military rule where the general ruled by fiat.

You forget that leadership is most important. Experts in Economics are a dime a dozen. GEJ has access to these experts but allowed theft to reign with impunity.

As to the question posed by the OP, I remind lazy youths of the following:

The price of crude oil, was $86.62 in September 1982, just before President Buhari took over, and dropped to $27.61 by the end of 1985!!
Given the Economic conditions Buhari met, it’s a miracle that the naira depreciated only 106% I don’t have time to educate you people, but I’d suggest that you read up.
First time I see a sensible post from an apc supporter. Now I expect u to post the % depreciation during Gej's and probably show how much the price of crude has fallen. We want to see who was/is a better manager.

PoliticsThe Man That Introduced Fuel Subsidy In Nigeria by bnovative(op): 11:53am On Dec 16, 2014
The fuel subsidy payment was
introduced
as a policy into the Nigerian during the
IBB administration of when our
refineries
failed due to no-maintenance. It was
introduced to temporarily stabilize the
price of petroleum product while the
refineries underwent rehabilitation. It
was meant to last for only six (6)
months.
Licenses to lift, import and market oil
was
issued to friends of the administration
(IBB) who happened to be mainly from
the Hause-Fulani stock of Northern
Nigeria.
They were the new oil bloc holders.
When the newly formed oil cabal of
Hausa-Fulani hegemonists saw that they
were making billions of petrol-dollars as
profit from the payment of subsidy, they
frustrated every effort channeled into
the
rehabilitation of Nigeria’s refineries.
The policy that was meant to last only
six
(6) months has now lasted for almost
thirty (30) years!
It is on record that the IBBs, the
Dantatas, the Sawoes, the Otedolas, the
Danjumas, the Abachas, the Aremus,
the
Abubakars, and the Dangotes all own
refineries in neighboring African
country;
those who don’t own refineries out-
rightly all have substantial stakes in
refineries in neighboring countries. The
middle-belt, the Ndigbo and the South-
South Nigerians were marginalized in
the
sharing of oil-bloc licenses by the IBB
junta. The Yorubas got a little
percentage
of the bounty. Every other Nigerian
tribe/
region were alienated by the
hegemonistic Hausa-Fulani cabal. And in
the face of this injustice against a
people,
no one stood for the voiceless.
Now, to make their war more favorable,
they have reminded you of how corrupt
the government is! The same corruption
the institutionalized and entrenched it
in
our society. Please ask them what they
did when they were in power.
