@mac. You got me smiling.believe it or not I ain't one. |
maclatunji: I am tempted to ask: how old are you? Not that I expect you to give an answer.Guess u hav an answer in ur head.like to say? By d way what prompted dis jamb Q. |
The core issue here is dt a younger sibling stole and father is turning blindeye to dt.poster, what u did was laudable and ur father did wrong to scold u in d presence of d boy.I don't knw what it is wt some parents and dr lastborns. |
I knew it!.The mother character was just not it. |
^For real, there r pple who don't know o especially when ur parents don't communicate much(they give instructions) nd u r made to think islam ends in 5.daily prayers. In today's world where entry into high institution is a licence to some freedom.once u spend a yr or two dy start teasin u abt bf/ gf.for an average parent now, everythin is o.k as far as she doesnt get preg. for d boys,dy turn d other eye until kasala burst like dis. |
Oh no!d headin and d poster didn't make sense until I read d content.I am a silent follower of ur ttc hurdles.I admire ur vim and resilience.hmmn, wat can I say? That u will weather dis storm,I'm not in doubt. Only pray to be around when u share d story.meanwhile my heart goes to u and I'll remember u in prayer.#cheers. |
^Really inspiring biography.may Allah grant her d highest rank in jannah. Stories like dis set me thinking...... Do I hav a place in jannah? may Allah not deprive us of his mercy. |
tbaba1234: Sorry, i haven't started.... I have been down with a cold...Eeya sorry.wish u quick recovery. |
Brilliant writeup! and a good reminder too. |
Women don suffer o.so u need ur husband permission to buy wat u need wt ur own MONEY. I smell insecurity here. |
Women don suffer o.so u need ur husband permission to buy wat u need wt ur own MONEY. |
I am suppressing laughter here. I can see ur smirk, well done o.The Q is actually meant for sisters. I just like to know dr rxn to such notice. Some just keep dr cool and postpone d drama for d day.some are stubborn enough to tell them outrightly not expect anything less.some tow d line of sino and reach a compromise. Besides it's not only in those issues dt u get specifications.some parent go on to tell u which hometown or which family.considerin dt a female has to choose frm wat is available(unlike a male dt has d floor ),i believe these specs add to d dilemma. |
Just seein dis thread.have a Q. for u guys. How u coping wt d husband specifications given by ur folks ?. I mean no 3quarter trouser,no bear-bear husband,no dis, no dt. I'm not saying dy are a must but he is most likely going to come wt all these features if he has d right aqeeda.when u eventually present him,dy make u look like a rebel. As in, did we not warn u? |
Awe tan oju tajasan. O ye lunch eaters, fasting is over. Yea! I'm in d mood |
. But if you are already in it, as I always say,”do not disappoint anybody.” It is not Islamic. It is your jahiliyah, you have to pay for it. You have in jahiliyah, met the wrong person; and you have in jahiliyah, agreed to the wrong person. There is no Shariah that will tell you to break the relationship, in as much as he or she still say La ilaha illa llah. The only thing is to correct him or her, because in islam there is no courtship. This is what the sharia says. If you date a woman in Islam- “I want to marry you; I love you. i…this; i….that all these nasty lies that a man tell a woman making her comfortable to divulge some of her secrets to you, teasing her, and at the end of the day you find a better match and you attempt to switch over to your new discovery as if you are on the electricity switchboard, switching from one line to another line, I swear by Allah, it is haram. If anybody has given you the fatwa to abandon a sister for another sister, when that sister has never committed any major crime, it is wrong fatwa. Allah says: “Even as he is now, so were you yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His Favours.”(Q 4:94). Both of you were in jahiliyah before, and now that you understand, both of you should assist one another, bring her up, bring him up. This is the best thing to do Islamically”
Wat do u mean already in it?marriage? If it's engagement I beg to disagree wt ur submissions o.it's better to have a failed engagement than a failed marriage. If d sis. or bro refuse to see things in ur light,it's better to free urselves while u can. Who says he or she won't find a partner of d same level. |
Am i in d mood? Not really.I'm not in d environ. dt normally set me in d mood plus I'm laggin in one of my ramadan targets. So I'm actually glad today is not sallah. today being saturday I gat no excuse i shld make up. @ deols, hope d hair will still be impeccable by tomorrow @muki,u've got time for ur laali now. @ all,eid mubarak in advance |
I scroll down each time I open dis page hoping to find d headline GAWAT FOUND! It's sad dt it's taking so long, but I'm still hoping and praying fervently. To d family I say:bear Allah's test with sabr. |
Gift is something giving willingly from one person to another.the act of gift sharing(both giving and taking) is one highly encouraged by our religion. The prophet emphasised it's importance when he said giving even half of a date shld not be overlooked. Bribery is when a gift is offered to persuade a person to do something.Bribery on the contrary is an offence in which the giver and the recipient is liable in islam. The purpose of this thread is to remind us to evaluate each time we are about to recieve gift to know which category it falls.I agree that living in a nija setting like ours, it is inevitable not to be involved in it at one time or the other.we all know about the "necessity" clause in islam so we may be covered in some situations.however the onus is on you to define wat necessity is sincerely. I personally have problem categorizing dis gifts at times.there should be a yard stick to know this i think.so i expect imput from scholars in the house on this. People wt life experiences of how they scaled through some bribery saga can share wt us.you may also tell us some practical ways of evading the common bribery situations(e.g uniformed officers in nija, police FRSC,immigration etc) in our environment if you know. ............May Allah save us from his 'nnar". |
salam peeps,I like to share our jumah sermon wt u. The imam talked about the famous nite, laitul qadri.we all know about the greatness and all the blessing locked in.just want to point our attention to some things. -the nite can be found in the last ten days of ramadan which started 2 days ago. -the prophet went further to specify it is actually in the odd days,21,23,25......but wait a minute.it is smarter not to limit our search to these odd days because of this issue of moon sighting.our day 21 may actually be 20 wt Allah so play safe and stay up all the ten nites. - our beloved prophet(SAW) and the companions didn't do any collective worship on this nites during their time so we are urged to desist from such.I mean various organizations gathering people in the name of laitul qadri is not the best. - we are expected to repeat dis words often during d nite:allahumo innaka afuwun tuibul afwan fa afuwanna. .....may Allah count us among the beneficiaries of the nite. |
kokozain: Salam, i know that many of us downloaded Quran verses on our various phones and we do take our phones to toilet and the likes how safe or pure are the words of Allah in our pockets. My question is hope we are not doing d wrong things i.e taking Quran verses to prohibited places like toilet. What is your take on this issue?Last i heard abt dis matter is that: 1.it is prohibited to use it as ring tone. 2.you take ur phone to toilet only out of necessity once u hav quran on it(e.g use of phone as torch in d absence of no other) 4.if u must go wt it,ensure d quran text is not on ur wall or d recitation is not on(if audio). 5.#some argue dt u can go wt ur phone(just like any commodity) if num 4 is fulfilled as d quran on d phone is a software.the hafeez apparently hav a similar thing in dr brain and of course use the toilet and bathrooms. |

As much as my wish list is modifiable,I hv a few list of uncompromisables viz 1.aqil:I am suppose to obey most of d time so his ideas had better be..... 2.friendly-disposition:cant cope wt a tyrant in d name of upholding morals.imagine dis:'Abu saunters in,children scamper to dr room or wife runs to d kitchen.' 3.cant tolerate a guy who equates lying and smartness. |
