Ok.I was basically asking d theme of d platform and d kind of audience.90% of my writings are 'preachy' and may not suit ur purpose.when i hav idea abt those 2 i will knw which ones to send ur way.

Another analogy i will use (considerin ur medical background) dt goes in line wt tbaba's societal benefit is dis hadith....'when you hear of an epidemic in a certain land,dont enter such land.but if an epidemic starts in a community while you were present,then do not leave'. To d average sahaba and even a micro-biology-naive individual of this generation,dis instruction is unwise. But you and i know,frm d depth of research on incubation phase,window period,inactive carrier state,disease pathogenesis etc dt dis instruction is astute. and if carried out will be for d public good.

@Op.I hav dis to add to tbaba and sissie's exposition.
Personally,i hav a couple of islamic injunctions i grapple with but i resolve my internal conflict by reminding myself of d infinite wisdom of the source(Allah).so even when i comprehend not,i attribute it to my limited intellect and accept.some i eventually do comprehend.
As muslims,we should learn to 'accept' Allah and his messenger's ways even when dy are beyond our ken. I give you example of a 4yr old being forced to go to sch but he whines and throws tantrum every morning.Even when you explain frm now till tomoro how his schooling is to ensure better future,he will never comprehend.Few years later,when d intellect is capable,the accomplished 4yrs old of yesteryear will appreciate his parent.My point? Just glide along,whether you understand or not once u're able to confirm a ruling is frm Allah/his messenger.

@mac. Can you elaborate more on dis writing stuff?. I pen down my tots once in a while but consistency is not my forte.Also not a great writer but i know and appreciate good writings.So i may be in dt critique team.Just elucidate more so i know where i fit.

Besides,this is about patient care.other allied medical professionals have adept knowledge of their field ONLY,but that is just a fraction of patient care.A doctor on d other hand is trained to hav considerable knowledge in All other branches of medicine.it is dr4 pertinent dt a doc sees patient first and decides whose service of other sister professionals is required. after so many years of observation it is normal for a court clerk to presume he could replace d chief judge but we all know it will be foolhardy to put him in dt position.

No,no,no.Obsession is not tantamount to love.it's a different level.Obsession wt anythin is not safe,much more human.In such state,rational thinkin is relegated for their id callings,caution is thrown to d winds. In extreme cases life is lost. love on d other hand is gentle and knows when to let go. Infact,i think obsession depending on d object is a mental misnomer and d sufferer shld visit d psychologist.

@OP,I'm not convinced you visited a good hosp. With the diagnosis made,d remedy shld not be far-fetched as you hav options except there is financial constraint.I suggest you visit a consultant for proper evaluation.Your case isn't as complex as you put it except d diagnosis is wrong. All d best!

^naa,aint talking abt that.I mean d compassionate,emotionally-rooted,unfathomable attraction btw man and woman.One whose force of attraction is somethin intangible and would not be marred by time or d inevitable friction of livin together.Their love radiates and even overflows enough to share wt others. Being muslims,they see things in d same light,hav common goals so effective communication via eye and body language,even silence is their forte.

The law is about "renunciation of citizenship" in which the senate passed that only 18 years and above have the right to.
Senator Yerima wanted married girls below 18 years old to enjoy such right too which led to another voting.
The outcome made senate to declare girls married below 18 to "have come of age" in order to be entitle to the right. That's all

^God bless you.The uproar that greeted the bill didn't suprise me going by d unpopularity of Yerima among nigerians but d magnitude of folly even among d learned baffles me.The new law has nothing to do with promotion or endorsement of childmarriage as claimed. As you rightly pointed out,d new law seeks to secure d rights of women rather than trample it.Chapter 3,section 29,subsection 4b,states that a married woman can renounce her citizenship irrespective of her age unlike before when she has to be 18years to take that decision.To d lawmaker that ratified d bill,being 'old enough' for marriage also places d responsibility of your citizenship on your shoulders.Isn't that a laudable Idea?

From islamic perspective,aren't we taught to delay solah when food is ready? so why shld baby's meal time be an exception.
In short,if your baby must eat,take ur time to feed him and say ur solah afterwards.Or delay d feeding till after d solah if d need is not urgent.
