I've been married to my wife for almost five years now. My major problem with her is that she lacks gratitude, she doesn't have the spirit and character of appreciation.

Infact even if you buy a private jet for her, she will be happy at the moment but after 5mins she will forget that you've ever done anything for her and if you don't do things for her, you will see her complaining more than the way Nigerians are complaining under buhari.

This her attitude is really becoming unbearable.

madam op, I tried to excuse you that this may be ur way of griefing-rants... especially when u feel djdola's case was unprofessionally handled. but generalising and mudslinging all nigerian doctors is beyond me.. I am particularly disappointed that it is coming frm someone with supposed medical training. worldwide there are 3levels of health care-primary, secondary and tertiary. you dont expect a private facility with minimum equipment to handle a poly trauma patient. and it is praise worthy a doctor is humble enough to refer patient appropriately. perhaps you hav lost touch with reality down here. considering the hostile work environment,insensitive govt., poor renumeration, archaic tools etc. a nigerian doc has to contend with compared to his foreign counterpart, me think they deserve commendations. yes, there are unscrupulous few that taint the profession; blame it on d bug of corruption and inaccountability that has plagued d country.it is not peculiar to medicine

Op, you saw a doctor and you did not throw all these questions at him/her. All we can do here is speculate based on d history you gave.I am inclined towards testicular torsion and epididymoorchitis as top differential above hernia but ur doc is in best position to say because he examined you.If my suspicion is right, early intervention is key as d complication may be irreversible if you waste time. Nut shell, visit a trusted private hospital ASAP.You may pay instalmentally for ur surgery if finance is a challenge.

Recently she heard there is Arabic class (or college, or something similar) at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH and wishes to apply but she doesn't know how to and other requirements. I would have helped her to find out but one, am not that chanced presently, among many other reasons. Additionally, she asked me to enquire about the Arabic class and I have promised her that I will at least to morally support her.
Please is there anyone who knows about the Arabic class in LUTH? Jazakumullahu

@babyosisi,i doubt the op was not informed of the diagnosis. A lot of d time, patients live in denial. They hop frm one hospital to d other in search of a favourable diagnosis.It is most likely a CLD and dy are rooting for d cause by d various investigations.I suggest op returns to luth or another tertiary hospital(nothing less) and hav a frank talk wt his physician about management options. Then we can talk about cost.Op pls do that today

salam, something happened and i thought I should let you know.
OK I was sleeping and it came to have fun , tried to resist which just made it angry and it started to stab my tommy . the pain was unbearable , I was fully awake and alert but too weak to move a muscle . the more I recite the more stabbing I received ,was trying so hard to get off the bed but it was drifting me futher into its world then something unbelievable happened.
'something' (I can't explain what) started to recite to my ears, (like rukiya imams do) and the jinn began to loss its power, the stabbing stopped but it grabbed my arm with its claws , those were not fingers but sharp claws and I was trying to pull away and I could feel my flesh almost tearing.
finally I was able to open eyes got up and out the door didn't bother to look at what was next to me on bed

So it turns out i was watchin a wedding video at a friend's house.I couldnt hide my admiration for d groom's demeanour.He was all happy and ecstatic while d bride just maintained her calm and flashed few smiles at interval. Well,it is usually d other way round or equal expression of joy frm d couple, so i pointed out my observation and praised d guy for loving his wife so much......Few days later, my friend and i were discussing and she mentioned dt d dude was having his 2nd marriage. 'Wow! Is d 1st wife dead?'... 'No'. barren?,troublesome?... Of course she didnt hav answer for my barrage of questions.But i think it is an insult on d 1st wife.it.s like d guy chanced on gold having lacked d opportunity to behold even a bronze, by d way he was grinning frm earlobe to earlobe.
So my Q is:
How will you feel if you were d first wife in dis case, presuming things are going well in ur marriage?
2. Do you agree it.s an indirect 'insult'(considering d man's overjoy as if he's been missing somethin all d while) on d 1st wife?
