Majority of us in this country are guilty of corruption we are only complaining of those in power because we have not had opportunity that those in power had. If we want progress in this country, individual need to change for better.

The Uniqueness of 2022 World Cup Hosted by Qatar:

1) It's the first time the a new technology known as Semi-Automated Offside Technology is being put to use for the games .

FIFA has approved a semi-automated offside technology that will reduce VAR offline decisions from 70 to 25 seconds. Twelve multi-tracking cameras will be mounted on the roof of each Stadium to track the ball and each player.

2) It's the first time the world cup is hosted in a different football season. To avoid the intense Qatar summer heat that can be as high as 42 degrees, the tournament will be held in the winter season and from November to mid-December for the first time in the games’ history. Previous World Cup games were typically held in June and July.

3)The 2022 ball used in Qatar is called "Al Rhila" or the Journey ball has a high tech sensor with a battery which needs to be charged before the games and could last 6hours.

The sensor is powered by a small battery, which Adidas said can last for six hours of active use, or up to 18 days when not.

The sensor weighs 14 grams and is enough to give the ball-tracking in real-time; with cameras positioned around the pitch helping referees to determine offside and other questionable decisions quickly to reduce the waiting time for VAR decision makings.

'Any time the ball is kicked, headed, thrown or even so much as tapped, the system picks it up at 500 frames per second,' Maximillian Schmidt, co-founder and managing director of KINEXON, who manufactured the sensor, said..

'Data is sent in real time from sensors to a local positioning system (LPS), which involves a setup of network antennas installed around the playing field that take in and store the data for immediate use.

When a ball flies out of bounds during the course of play, and a new ball is thrown or kicked in to replace it, KINEXON’s backend system automatically switches to the new ball’s data input without the need for human intervention.

4) Qatar holds the record for the Most Expensive World Cup Ever
Adding up the money spent on infrastructure, building new stadiums, and renovating old ones, it costs Qatar around $220 billion to host the Winter World Cup, making it the most expensive ever.

This is about 14.6 times the amount Brazil spent to host the 2014 World Cup. (Side note: this is what happens when you are one of the richest countries in the world).

Even though I have not come across where he said the alleged statements. Please can you share me the video clip of where MURIC specifically states "Yoruba Muslim" he will rather say Muslims in general. I doubt he will say "Yoruba Muslims" because Islam is against separating Muslims along their tribe, race, color, etc

I read that MURIC led by a Yoruba Muslim said some time ago that Yoruba Muslims will not vote for a Yoruba Christian as president in the next election perhaps thinking that Osinbajo was being considered as the APC presidential candidate.

What criteria do you use for your assertion that "Perhaps the Yoruba Christians are more tolerant than their Muslim counterparts". It you online that will always take sides for Yoruba Muslims and Christians, in reality there is not tussle between them. As for MURIC, its purported It is not unexpected because it claimed to have represented Muslims interest just as CAN represent Christians interest. You can only see those religion bodies protecting their respective religion interest which is allowed. The misconception that some of you have concerning MURIC is that, it is representing Yoruba Muslims because the spoke person is a Yoruba Man. MURIC is not for Yoruba but for all the Muslims as CAN is for all the Christians. It is on Nairaland that I realised that those tribal/religious bigots draw lines between Yoruba Muslim and Yoruba Christian to attack mostly Muslims. In reality Yoruba did not draw line between Muslims and Christians, they are peacefully living together. The western belief that tribe comes first before religion but for Northern and Eastern parts they are more of religion intolerants, they put religion ahead their tribe.

Your point of argument base on religion is not correct. Yoruba is the most religion tolerant tribe in Nigeria. You hardly get a family in Yoruba Land that does not have both religions (Islam and Christianity ) and it does not affect their relationship. Therefore Tinubu's Muslim/Muslim ticket is not a problem in Yoruba Land.

3 Avoid driving through flooded areas.

4 Take pictures and videos of the damage caused by the flood and share with your insurer.

5. Get yourself and family life jackets.

Osun State Presidential election will shock many people the way Tinubu will have victory with large margin. Recognition given to PDP in Osun State governorship election is limited to local politic within the state. Osun people doesn't have alternative for Tinubu at presidential race.

Why did you rate Osun State this low? I am confident that Tinubu will have nothing less than 85%. Don't be carried away by the Osun State Governor election, Tinubu will get highest percentage of votes in South West from Osun State. Osun State Presidential election will surprise many people.
