What do girls think is going to happen once the close come OFF? The man is going to look at you like you are a liar, because most of your body is fake. Whoever wears this, is not very smart. |
ogb5: because he did not come with criticism.Jesse Jackson is high on indian hemp and drunk on alomo bitters. |
"Coverless" ![]() Is everything a curse word on this site? Does Seun think this is church? |
Jesse Jackson is high on indian hemp. |
THESE PDP MONKEYS BELONG IN THE ZOO. |
Uyi Iredia: Being wet and hugging a transformer wouldn't harm me. Except the one of wires in the transformer chances to have contact with its frame. I'm neither an Igbo (a spelling by certain misinformed people) PDP cretin. Since you had no rebuttal to make I would safely assume you have nothing cogent to say wrt my point.YOU ARE AN IGBO, STOP LYING!!! |
These dudes get education! |
The South West and the South East are always competing for development. (Even thought the South East always loses). What about the rest of Nigeria? Have they just given up hope? |
Ricky_Ross: Wetin make the bridge the best in west Africa? How many west African countries have you traveled to? Which group of engineers did the testing/vetting of bridges in west Africa? From tagging this fake bridge suspension bridge to cable bridge, now it is clear people must pay to use it? Which other bridge in west Africa do people pay to use? This is not even a PPP project, the project was done with tax payers money and at the same time people must pay to use it? Bro stop washing your dirty linen in public. If you ever get to leave your village, you will see that almost every bridge in big cities is tolled. Have you ever been to New York? Manhattan is an island, and almost every bridge going in and out of Manhattan is tolled. The George Washington Bridge is $15.00. The Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel is $6.50. The Whitestone Bridge is $6.50. The Verazzano Bridge is $15.00. Etc, etc. This is just from memory from when I lived there for a year. The amount is probably even higher now. Lagos State is actually a real government. Your politicians just dash you with national oil money, to keep you quiet so you don't revolt. When your politicians start taxing/tolling you, you will start asking where the money goes. That is a question they NEVER want you to ask. LASG isn't scared of questions like that. In fact, they welcome it. |
It must hurt to have all that hate in your heart! ![]() Lagos is moving forward, while the rest of you are stagnating. You can cry elitist all you want, but Fashola is delivering for his people, while your Governors are failing you. I think Igbos hate ACN out of jealousy. They want everyone to be down in the mud with them. Worry about your Governor being bullied by the President, and leave us alone. You are crying about us tolling our bridge, and you don't even have a bridge! Imagine! Where is your Second Niger Bridge? The First Niger Bridge was built in 1965, while our LATEST bridge is being commissioned in 2013. The 4th Mainland Bridge (which is going to be one of the 20 longest bridges in the world) is coming up next. Shouldn't you be worried about yourself? Abeg, WHERE IS YOUR SECOND NIGER BRIDGE?? Oh, and before I forget, you all KNOW that the toll money is not going to be shared, and you hate it! You hate that there is a working Government in Naija, don't you! The way things are going now, in 10 years the South West is going to be richer than the rest of Nigeria put together. |
“God is a democrat, he does not support rigging, but if you rig and succeed, that means God approve of it.” - Jonah Jang 2015 Slogan - I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHO YOU VOTE FOR! FRESH AIR WILL WIN BY FIRE OR BY FORCE! |
As soon as I read the thread title, I was jealous! ![]() |
AbdH: The poll is about the activities of al-qaeda and not the shariah. I still stand on my point. What point? That the poll is a conspiracy? Give me a break! https://www.pewglobal.org/files/2010/12/2010-muslim-01-13.png |
doncaster: Now WS is nobody in the south west hahahahaha you people are something else. Ok when gbawe celebrated here that WS has joined the "progressive" he was somebody but now he took one of the progresives to the cleaners he become nobody. At this rate Tinubu will turn to nobody very soon.Who cares about Gbawe, or Wole Soyinka? Neither of them is going to be running under the APC banner. The real problem is that the North is obsessed with a Buhari Presidency, even though the rest of the country has said 1000 times that they don't want him to lead. |
splashbaby: SEUN, Sexkillz, Oguagua88 and their NL "kokolet" achukwu"let" are still busy taking turns depressing the self-destruct button with alarming regularity...right now SEUN is still celebrating mediocrity with his cohort of moderators volonterring nonsense, especially Oguagua88 who kept housing Sexkillz and lately SEUN in her terribly flooded faddish "heart"...looks like they pay SEUN to be made moderators...I see no reason to change the rules to accomodate the excesses of erring moderators! The more I think about this, the more I see the similarities with every other internet company in history. 1. One company starts the trend (or a group of them). 2. Those companies get complacent and develop into poorly run organizations. 3. An upstart competitor PERFECTS the service delivery model and wipes the floor with the pioneers. 4. The pioneers are permanetly relegated to the background, or they are just forgotten altogether, while the new upstart makes all the money. 5. The creators of the pioneer companies spend their time at bars reminiscing about the 'good ole days' when they were the only game in town. "Hey girl, I created Geocities!" "It was the precursor to Wordpress!" Unless Seun wants to spend the rest of his life telling people how he created "Nairaland, the precursor to ________", he should get his act together and start whipping the moderators into shape. The world isn't going to wait for him to figure this all out. Take it from someone who has literally used the internet from the BEGINNING. You are treading well worn territory. If you are not innovating, you are losing. |
Pipsland78: ^^^ Allow me to add an opt-out or de-register button. This allows de-satisfied members to opt out of the forum.YES! That is one of the most bizarre things about this website. The moderators tell you not to operate multiple accounts, unless they will ban you, yet they offer no way to voluntarily close an account. It doesn't make any sense, and it reeks of insecurity. They must think that putting an opt out button would lead to everyone on the site de-registering. If they are THAT insecure about their membership, they should at least start listening to their members. The thing that most internet entrepreneurs forget...is that the barrier to entry for their competition is ZERO. Anyone can start up a forum tomorrow, and crush Nairaland into the dust. Tumblr can be crushed by Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Yahoo, Altavista, Lycos, AskJeeves, etc were crushed by Google. Myspace was crushed by Facebook. I could go on forever. The only reason those internet companies got crushed was because they took their large user base for granted and by ignoring those very same users, created a demand for a better company. If Yahoo had listened to it's users and gotten rid of the paid search results that were ruining the experience Yahoo would be were Google is today. If Myspace had listened to it's users and stopped making it difficult for users to be themselves (while giving too much power to advertisers and musicians), Myspace would be where Facebook is today. Internet companies simply DO NOT have the luxury of ignoring their users. It is simply too easy for a competitor to wipe the floor with them. There is absolutely no excuse for ignoring your users when they demand the same thing for YEARS!!! You are CREATING the opening for a competitor by ignoring them. |
AbdH: ^^ That you post the same lies over and over again won't make it true. That poll is a lie.1. Do you live in Naija? 2. Can you provide ANY PROOF THAT THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS POLL ARE LYING?? Pew is one of the most respected polling companies in the world. They have no reason to lie about this. |
1. This is very, very old. 2. I am an APC supporter, and I think Buhari needs to retire from politics. This man has run for election OVER, and OVER, again. He has lost every time! The man hasn't run even a small local government area since the 1980's. It is time for him to let it go. Seriously, his arrogance is astounding. I honestly hope that someone younger, and someone who actually has experience governing in the modern era, runs under the APC banner. Fashola, Okorocha, and others are 1000x better than this desperate Buhari. If Buhari runs, it is obvious to every Nigerian that he will lose again. Especially because of Boko Haram in the North. It is also obvious that the North does NOT have a larger population than the South. If that were true, there would be a million signs of it, but NONE of them exist. Ask anyone who has been to Kano, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and even Akwa Ibom. Which city is larger, and which city is smaller. EVERYONE WILL RANK KANO NEAR THE BOTTOM!!! It is a small city. Lagos State alone has 20+ million inhabitants, so if the North is more populous they must have at least ONE CITY with a population close to that. They have ZERO of them. All the big cities are in the South. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. Kano is the only exception. There are just so many little signs and details that would make it obvious that the North is more populated, but all those little signs and details point to the South being more populated instead. Who am I kidding though. Some peeps will be here soon to shout SAI BUHARI in a few moments. Each one of them is probably over 50. |
AbdH: ^^^ Some of my friends? No!!!According to that poll, 49% of Naija Muslims support Al Qaeda. About 75% support chopping off hands as punishment for stealing, and about 60% support stoning people for violating Sharia law. If you have ZERO friends who support any of these things, then you are obviously in the extreme minority in Naija, and should keep quiet. You obviously don't speak for Naija muslims as a whole. Do you even live in Naija? I bet you live in the UK, or the US. |
PDP supporters seem very happy that people are rapidly decamping to APC. 2015 is two years away, and the opposition party just keeps getting stronger and stronger. |
There are three things that would solve everyone's problems. A "show profanity" button. For guests, and by default for new members, profanity is hidden on the website. If you chose to opt in to the "Show Profanity" option, and after you state that you are over 18, you are allowed to see posts in their ORIGINAL format, without the "stupid", "porn", etc edits. One of the many websites that does this well is Cracked.com. A "dislike" button Just like most websites, the "dislike" button will allow users to collectively hide posts that the community doesn't agree with WHILE STILL GIVING THE MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE HIDDEN POST. Members will simply click "Show Hidden Post" to see what was there, and then they can click "Like" if they don't agree with the consensus, they can click "dislike" to further downvote the post, or they can just read the post and leave. This one button will eliminate 90% of the problems with mods, and eliminate 90% of their workload. Allow users to gain a "reputation" Utilize a point system that allows users to reward helpful, informative, funny, etc posters with "reputation points", "badges", etc. This will encourage posters to maintain ONE user ID, it will encourage users to MAINTAIN THE GOOD REPUTATION of their user ID, and it will make it incredibly easy to identify who should be (and who shouldn't be) a mod. People like Lawyer in the property section will have huge reputations, and it will encourage them to keep posting. It will also allow newer members to realize that his posts carry more value than the various omoniles with disposable accounts who also post in that section. One of the best websites for this is Huffingtonpost.com. That woman is almost a billionaire, so I would do what she does and not be so arrogant. I fully expect you to ignore my three suggestions, because it seems like people have been asking for these things for years. However, the solutions are just too obvious to not mention them at all. PS - I think Maclatunji should be banned. Mostly because he doesn't care about the rules in the Islam for Muslims section, he just moderates according to his emotions. To make matters worse, he puts thread, after thread, on the frontpage and then furiously bans and hides anyone who isn't a Muslim. |
AbdH: I and all the Muslims i know did not take part in the poll or at least they never mentioned it and I know they would have if they had been questioned. This statistics is a lie!Be honest...you know some of your Muslim friends support Al Queda. |
What have the Northern governors been doing with their monthly allocations anyway? |
Opinions of al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden remain largely negative among the Muslim publics surveyed by the Pew Global Attitudes Project. Majorities of Muslims in five of the seven countries surveyed in 2010 express unfavorable views of the extremist group and say they have little or no confidence in its leader. Only in Nigeria do Muslims offer views that are, on balance, positive toward al Qaeda and bin Laden with roughly half (49%) expressing a favorable view of al Qaeda compared with 34% with an unfavorable opinion. Similarly, Nigerians express support for bin Laden by a 48%-to-40% margin.http://www.pewresearch.org/daily-number/nigerians-support-al-qaeda/ |
dougivilla: Pele. Shit happens. But seun must take the piece of advice seriously. NL exists because of its members. I have personally followed sincere9gerian since he joined NL and and observe that his sincere opinions are sometimes misunderstood or hijacked by the opposing voices who rain abuses on him and are hardly banned.I am only in support of this if Maclatunji is banned. |
PDP is SHAKING!!! Your party is falling apart and you are busy congratulating yourselves. How much did you dash the professor to pass your JAMB? |
Loool...these PDP fools are shaking. How many Igbo leaders are left in the PDP umbrella...? APC now has Rochas AND Ameachi. PDP has Obi, who was booed at Achebe's funeral. You can try to pretend this is not a big deal, but the amount of energy the President has expended trying to silence him (and remember Ameachi STILL WON HIS ELECTION) proves that PDP thinks it's a VERY. BIG. DEAL. Lagos is done for GEJ in 2015. Rivers gave GEJ the most votes of any state. The North is gone. The South South and some Middle Belt voters are all that's left. Face it...with just a little campaigning by Rochas and Ameachi, the Igbo vote will start to break in two. |
Please update this! Maybe even put it on the FRONT PAGE! |
I think Seun is selling these front page posts. How much did she pay for this publicity? |
