EducationStudents On Rampage In Lautech. by bodescous(op): 10:52am On Apr 09, 2013
Students of the Ladoke Akintola School of Technology have been on ranpage since yesterday morning at around 11 am.It was known that the said school started a 3 -day warning strike for an unknown internal crisis before a fatal accident that occured outside the school gate which resulted into the death of a student. The students later took the streets, burn tyres and distrupt normal activities..The pandemonium escalated more this morning when the undergraduate students had to invade the halls where the postgraduate students were preparing for the exams thereby causing chaos, beating some postgraduates students especially the female ones...The dean of the postgraduates students had to come along and beg the PG students to see the students as their younger ones and see the issue as one of those things they have passed through...He later assured that the exams will go as planned.
