SportsEquatorial Guinea...a Poor Representation Of African Football by bodescous(op): 10:31pm On Feb 05, 2015
With what I can view on my TV screen this evening,I can categorically say that Equatorial Guinea has disgraced African Football...In the last concluded World cup football, Brazil the host nation were whitewashed in their own country but didn't raise any alarm neither raised an eyebrow..... Why Africa at this time? Am ashamed and feel so bad.
TravelRe: Usa Visit Visa by bodescous: 9:17pm On Feb 02, 2015
Good evening friends in the forum. I have an urgent question with good advice from you guys.
I have a wife who is an LPR and a son who is a citizen in d state.I want to go for my father in law 70th birthday coming up this may 2015.My concerns goes thus!
1.I have a pending immigrant filing by my wife which I learnt it is very difficult to get non immigrant visa while you have a pending filing. So I don't know if I could fill in d-s 160 that its my wife I wanna go see.
2.I think my father in law got to the state thru visiting visa and later converted it and became LPR thru remarriage... My concerns is that if I mention his name and they enter it in their computer,I don't know what effect that can have on my chances.
3.Back to me......I have strong ties to d country Naija as I have a well paying job...An independent petroleum marketer with roughly income of 400k per month...tho classified as business earning ...Also our first son of 10 years old is here with me in Naija ...He's not following me this time around to d state...I just have d intention of using maximum of two weeks .....Just for d birthday and ofcourse to see my wife and my other son...

please guys, how do I go about this?Thank you.

VisaOfficer:
Good questions! First of all, the 2014 Diversity Visa season ended on Sept. 30, 2014, and we are no longer seeing any 2014 cases whatsoever. We're seeing a very few 2015 cases -- people who are chargeable to other countries but who now reside here in Nigeria. Not very many at all, though, and definitely not enough to affect the rest of our operations.

I don't think Nigeria's graduation from the Diversity Visa program will lead to significantly shorter waiting periods for other types of visa. This is because DVs are processed by a different agency in the U.S. than the agency that processes traditional immigrant visas. However, we are expecting to see our regular IV numbers increase substantially and significantly this year (starting in February!) because USCIS has released a great many more cases than expected. We're excited about the increase, and my goal is to make sure that everyone is scheduled for an interview as soon as they are eligible. It's going to be fun!
Yaaaayyyyy..This is awesome if I have to go what you just said here,I think you have made my day.My wife submitted the I-130 Oct 2014 to USCIS and I hope our priority date would come sooner than expected? The distance between us seriously killing.

Pls,any share idea would be appreciated. Thank u.

Good morning VO.Please l will like to have your
invaluable advice on this issue.I have
once asked question concerning how to
go and see my wife who is a LPR in the
state through non immigrant visa but I
wasn't given a positive reply that I
would be granted visa.
VO,here comes my question I have for
you now.Which is more faster?
1.My wife to wait till she gets her
citizenship and file for K-3 visa for me.
2.My wife to start the spouse visa right
now that she has changed all her
documents to my name but still LPR.
I learnt one of the process is faster than
the other.I appreciate your good
response to this.Thanks always.

Hello VO,Thank you for your invaluable advice you give on this forum. You really awesome....
I have a wife who is a LPR in the state and a son who is a citizen. My wife came home last year for our court marriage..And since then she has been able to change her driver's licence, SSN and green card to my name and on the verge of starting the spouse filing..
But we got a clue that it might take up to two years and I don't think we can't wait for that time to see each other because we missing each other seriously... She does not want to risk coming to Nigeria as of moment because she lost her job last year she came home and a lot of pending bills for her and my son too fell sick then..
Right now my question goes thus!
Can she invite me now that she not put in the filing so I can come visit her for like two three weeks in the state...I have strong ties to Nigeria which I believe. Am a petroleum marketer in NNPC and also our older son here with me in Nigeria.. Your prompt response will b highly appreciated. Thank you.
