It is obvious what the Visa officer wants. Just simply send 1 year bank statements for your husband and your bank statements for the period when you transferred the fund to your husband's account. You should also write a LOE that the money is a gift to support your application. You might also include your 1 year bank statements too (not compulsory though).

Thanks dupyshoo

WOW!!! Your post made my heart skip a beat. 1 year bank history ke? WHY?

I looked up the word 'provenance' (it means origin or earliest known history of something) so i guess they want you to show them the earliest record of the money. maybe where it came from (your bank account statement in this case) or how you got it.
Out of curiosity why do you think they asked for 1 year bank history? how many months bank statement did you submit upfront or what did you submit as POF?

Thanks Sleekchic..........The VO is curious because of our country of residence now and because the PA's status with 2 dependants. Also his bank here didn't give us a bank statement all they issued was a summary showing when the account was openened, address, names and the current balance. So I guess the VO didn't see the transactions break-down or the flow of money in and out. All is well

Good afternoon everyone, please i need your assistance seniors in the house
We got ADR yesterday on (a)Bank history for a year (b)provide details on the provenance of funds.
We have the bank history from the principals applicants account already but 80% of the fund was transferred from my account to his account without authorization letter because I got to know about the authorization letter from here after we submitted. Do I need to show my bank history too or just for the principals applicant alone.
What do they expect for the second question.
Please house assist me because we need to respond to the ADR as soon as possible. Thanks in anticipation

My Nairaland Family,

All glory to God!!

Finally got the golden mail today.

First my story.

We got interested in this journey in Jan 2015 when express entry was introduced, but we didn't take the 1st step till Sept of 2015 when we took our IELTS. Started following this thread around mid 2016. I started my ECA in January 2016. My ECA took 1 year to process all because I wanted to have my Unilag Diploma 1 certificate accessed to meet the then very high cut offs. The program was defunct and there was no trace of any records. Finally, records office generated the result from my statement and sent in December 2016, only for WES to totally ignore it. By this time, scores had started to come down. But I still needed the 25 points that 2 or more certs would have given. ECA came out in March 2017 as BSc only. At this point, we were still contemplating making wifey the primary applicant as she was younger and had a masters and an LLb but only 1 year work. Long story short, cutoff visited 413 in May just to pick us up. We submitted out application on the very last day. Time line below.

ITA- May 31st
AOR-29th August
Meds passed and IP1- Sept 12th
NA2-Sept 13th
File moved to London VO- Oct 25th(got message of how to find a job in Canada)
Sent mail to confirm VO on 12th Nov, got confirmation of London on the 15th
Request to pay RPRF- Dec 5th
PPR- Dec 6th

We used a gift deed and only a small part of my bank statement as the six month printout was too large to upload.

Marriage cert had Civil Engr(my education) my job was in another NOC.

No LOE or anything
No ADR even though wifey has had a couple of visa refusals in the past.

I would like to encourage us that there is absolutely no reason to fear the dreaded London Visa Office as our very imperfect application scaled through in a reasonable time. Package your application to the best of your ability, be truthful, and follow CIC's instructions.

All the best to all hopefuls..

Congratulation....... we have almost same timeline. ITA was May 31st and AOR was 29th of August and nothing yet. We still dey baba God hand o. It will end in praise

Though it's not explicitly required to notify them of situations such as this, you should know that you need to inform them if the reasons for the denial is security-related. Usually they want notification if there are important changes to your application, like marriage, divorce, family composition, address maybe, etc. But if there's a security situation (or development) causing that visa denial, you'd need to raise a CSE and let them know. If you don't and they find out and have to investigate, it could delay your application significantly.

Thank you so much......it is not security related, the VO wasn't convinced enough. I appreciate ur response

Hello Everyone,
I have constantly followed the thread jejely but I think I need to share my story because I am so so down right now. Hubby and I got ITA May and deadline was Aug 30th meanwhile I was pregnant then, so we decided to wait for the little one to come so we can add him straight to the application, which was why we waited a day before the deadline. We could not get his passport and birth certificate early like we planned so we ended up submitting on the 29th without the little one but we gat POF for the three of us. We didn't hear anything from CIC for a long time then hubs raised a CSE when we had all the document for the little one. We got a mail to upload his documents before 30th of Sept but we did on the 11th of Sept which was a day after the mail came.
Fast forward to November.....no changes yet not even medical passed. Then on the 24th of November we noticed they already created application for the little one on our CIC timeline and after that nothing happened till now. Not even medical passed since Aug 29th.
My concern now is that we wanted to visit our family members in the state but we were not granted visa last week, .Do we need to inform CIC about the new visa denial?
.Do we call them or raise CSE?
.Hubby and I gat two visa denial before which we already stated before submission, will all ds visas denial affect our chances and application?
Note* We have called them twice and the lady that spoke with us told us sincerely that the file was not yet treated since August o. Egbami o! I am so confused and frustrated.

Sorry for the long write up.

Hello,

Congratulations on the new addition.

I don't think its compulsory to update your profile with the recent visa refusal as that happened after your submission.

As regards your application, sure its being worked on. you can send a mail to request for update.

I wish you all the best

Regards

Thanks at pampem....... I really appreciate it and I hope it is been worked on also. Should I send a mail to ask for update or I need to call them again.

Hi Olamide, when you added your spouse, did you pay the fees for her application, have you done medicals and PCC for her? If you have not done that, i advise you do that and raise a CSE to send the documents asap. I have a feeling that is what they are asking for.

Please how do I raise CSE coz the link is no longer available . Or is there a new link or way to go about it?

Do you mean you don't have anything like "confirmation of online application transmission" or "acknowledgement of receipt" in your CIC account?

Or you have that but no further update afterwards?

I hope it is number 2, then you have no cause to worry. Medical passed will come smiley
Yeah......i meant nothing like Confirmation of online application transmission or acknowledgement of receipt. Or is it because I submitted a day before the deadline. I am Just so worried

Hello everyone, I am a bit worried........ I submitted my documents a day before the deadline which was 29th of August. No mail from CIC yet abt documents received or verification started. And I have seen people that submitted same August and also passed medical in the same month. Is it normal or I am just worried.

Please I would like to know if the legal change of name for ladies should come after the date on marriage certificate or it can be before the date on the marriage cert. My newspaper publication for change of name reads September while my marriage cert reads October. I 'll like to know if that 'll be a problem or it should come after the date on the marriage certificate. Thanks in anticipation

Good morning everyone, I am a new member of this forum and I would like to ask few questions as I am 8 months gone. I am currently in Europe with a valid temporary resident permit and I just started considering giving birth in the state.
1. What are my chances of getting a visa as I am 8 months gone.
2. Should I tell the VO I am going for child birth or just family visit because I have an invitation from my sis in law.
3. Like how many weeks do i need in total (booking an interview appointment, getting the visa and leaving for the state).
Less I forget, I am a new mum and a first time mum. Your advice and contributions will be highly appreciated. Hope to read from you all soonest. Thank you.
