Troyconcepts:Common causes 1. Wrong php version. If your app is running php laravel, it requires at least php 7.0, most servers are configured to run php 5 by default, so onc of the vendor files throw error. 2. Misconfigured .htaccess file. If there's ANY error in the .htaccess file, then you'll keep getting error 500. 3. Run time error. if there's some sort of runtime error in your code e.g requiring a file that doesn't exist missing bracket or semi colon, you'll get this error. Login to your cpanel, goto metric -> errors, you'll see the last errors, copy and paste them here for further help. |

primemedia2017:Nulled themes are wordpress premium themes that have been cracked, so you don't need to enter a license key. The problem is, those who null the theme usually embed malicous code (hard to spot) in it before uploading for people to download freely. So, you can just visit your website one day and see it redirecting to another website. As for quotation, you might even see someone willing to do it for N10,000 or less, difference is quality and guarantee; and some are just desperate - i can't speak for them though. As mentioned earlier, the quotation includes the following: cost of getting premium theme(usually between $20 to $100) cost of getting premium plugin(s) if needed - average of $20 Cost of domain - N4000 Cost of hosting - At least N5000 And continuos support for 3 months i.e I won't leave you stranded with the website |

kb77: If by business email you mean an email like name@yourdomain.com, it's easy and free. Just login to your cpanel and click email accounts. You'll be able to create emails from there. But I must tell you, you need to always login via mail.yourdomain.com to check your mail. You can set up mail forwarders though. So all your emails are forwarded to maybe your Gmail account. Also, you can set up the mail client on your phone so you receive incoming mails from your phone and can reply. If that's too complicated, you can try Google business email, it's not free though. But it allows you have name@yourdomain.com and login via Gmail. If you need further help, you can ask or mail me at adeademi2@gmail.com |

Aare2050:MobileNig provides APIs that allow third party websites accept payment for bills, airtime and data plan. I've used the API for a client website. If you want a website like that, then you must have access to the APIs that does all the above too. Else, the developer will just give you a fine website that does nothing. lizzypro:It depends on your need and expected features. To design a simple wordpress blog with a nice theme (and maybe few plugins), that's between N20,000-N50,000 depending on your specific design requirements. But if you require more features that wordpress doesn't really offer, you might have to pay more cos that might require custom code. A mistake many make when looking to build a website is using vague terms. If you say, "I need a professional website", what does that mean? It doesn't have any meaning, it's just perspective. That's why you got a wide range of prices because perspective differs. Even at that, you might end up having issues with the developer eventually. Cos in your own mind, the definition of "professional" includes certain features. But in the mind of the developer, it's something else. So, you end up with a website that doesn't have the features you're expecting. And the developer will most likely ask you to pay more to get those features. An easy way out is to find a website that has what you need, then ask the developer to give you all the features on that website. With that, the developer has no excuse if he excludes a feature. When I'm agreeing on a price with a client, I always list out all the features I'm doing for the agreed price. So, that when I'm done and the client asks "why can't the website generate a caricature of me", I'll refer him/her to the agreement list to show that the feature s/he's referring is not in the agreed list. So, we have to negotiate the price to add it. ANd if i skip anything, s/he can refer me to the agreed list and I'll have no choice but to add the feature. As an example, I can build you a blog website with the following feature: -User can register and login -User can create posts -User can edit/delete his post -User can quote and comment on other posts/comments -User can edit/delete his comment -User can share post on facebook/twitter/linkedin -User can like a post -Everyone can see post view count -There are post categories and subcategories -The pages (posts and categories) are Search Engine Optimised -There's the admin panel where admin can edit/delete/ban user/post or create/edit category and see all stats All these can be done at just N50,000 within a week. @lizzypro You can reach me via adeademi2@gmail.com if this seem like what you want. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ivumar:Not really. let me give a simple instance. Say you're running a bank and need to attend to client's deposit requests. In nodejs, all clients join a single queue, and there request are forwarded to the appropriate channel while they wait. Once the request is completed, nodejs gets back to them. In essence, all you need is one teller to attend to client requests. In PHP however, for each client, there's a separate teller to attend to him/her. So you need a lot of tellers the more clients you have. In plain terms, nodejs helps you manage server resource, while PHP allocates server resource to each user/request. However, if your app has a lot of internal computations to do, PHP is better cos if you use nodejs, the computations will delay other clients (cos they're on the same queue). But if your app doesn't have much intensive calculations and you need the client experience to seem instant (e.g chat app), nodejs is the way. Most firms are opting for nodejs nowadays cos they believe it'll help reduce cost (lesser servers). 3 Likes |
