So the 3rd classes and drop-outs have it! What's the point going for lectures then?or to school at all for that matter? My 3rd class will certainly be secure if I spend all my university days in the female hostels and my weekends at the never ending raves n'parties . And in the unlikely event I miss the coveted 3rd class shot n' I'm politely asked to withdraw from( or I'm booted out of) my chosen course of study-that makes me a potential Bill Gates(an often cited drop-out) WHEN IN GOD'S NAME WILL WE STOP CELEBRATING MEDIOCRITY? It's high time we re-imbibe the legacies of excellence, hardwork, integrity and self-esteem and bequeath these to the up-coming younger generation. GOD help us! |
Utterly unverifiable allegation. |
What a diverse world we live in. Still can't come to terms with the fact that anyone would have anything against that advert. GOD!It blew my mind from the first time I set my eyes on it!! The mere fact that out of all the ads we have in this country this very one has become our topic of discussion gives credence to the ingenuity it epitomises. People, when it comes to romance it's an "all-or-none" law. You either have it or You just don't have it! To all who have contributed in favor of this ad(Seun,Ra,Femi, etc) Big hugs people!! |
Well, well, well.'Nuff said. There are thieves and there are thieves. In present day Nigeria I'm made to believe there're 2 major classes- the thieves on Baba(OBJ)'s right hand(good side) and the thieves on his left(bad side). Ribadu antagonists are wailing that he's only hounding the disfavored thieves.Does that in any way undermine the simple fact that THEY ARE THIEVES? Should corruption be condoned @ all? Na wa for Nigerians O! Can we ever be satisfied? Ribadu carry go jo!! Deal with them! We are solidly behind you. RIBADU FOR PRESIDENT 2015!!! As for the thieves that may still be cowering in Baba's right hand shadows, their time will definitely come. At least accountability and transparency have become an issue in Nigeria at last. This is just the beginning, stay tuned. |
Could this be true? Am I hearing(or is it reading)well or is it my fertile imagination @ work? Am I still in Nigeria? Am I dreaming? Somebody pls wake me up!Words fail me, I weep for joy, I weep for joy, Behold the emergence of a new and glorious Nigeria. GOD bless NIGERIA. Further comments after others, |
GNature:Thanks GNature. I am from the South-West(Osun State to be precise) and I'm simply making a case-not for any individual I endorse but for a hitherto marginalised region. I leave the S-Southerners to determine who among them is competent enough to serve in that capacity. Deep Soul:The purpose of having a president from the S-South transcends the betterment of the lot of that sole region-No! It is more far-reaching than that. It is giving every sector of this country a sense of belonging. It is imbibing the tenets of equity and fairness. Nobody is "born to rule"and nobody is "born to serve".Let the unborn child in the least minority tribe of this nation come to life knowing he has as much rights as any other from any place to aspire to any position in this nation. Only after righting these wrongs can we boast of a level playing field for subsequent electoral engagements. This is my humble submission. |
Nice one Seun. Really loved it. Sure pray the message permeates our political consciousness. |
As laudable and ideal as the concept of a detribalised approach to the rulership of this country is,we must come to terms with the reality on ground: For a section of the country to have held on to power for over 37yrs out of the 46yrs of our corporate existence while a section in the same geographic entity cannot boast of 2minutes in power is unthinkable. It simply insults our corporate sense of justice, fairness and equity. The average Nigerian from the South-South will not listen to such 'unwholesome crap' and justifiably so especially in the light of the marginalisation, rape and degradation they have been subjected to all these years. Maybe after 2 terms in office their pains and agitations would have been soothed enough to consider this (presently) utopic ideal. Only then can we unanimously say "BEST CANDIDATE". For now it's"BEST CANDIDATE from the SOUTH-SOUTH region". |
kristin baby girl, did U the read the question @ all? S'all bout their looks n' skills, not age or criminal records , |
Oh really? Well I sure think he does. Are U one of those who believe in overnight billionaires? One minute we never heard of him and the next he's donating hundreds of millions, brandishing multi-million dollar companies. How often does that happen over there in Europe?EFCC may indeed be a tool for witchhunting OBJ's real and perceived enemies but believe me they don't go after people who don't already have a case to answer, My dad is a retired civil servant living on his meagre pension-believe me EFCC don't know he exists and same applies to millions of honest Nigerians spread across this nation both in and out of civil service. Let Adenuga be a man and call Nuhu Ribadu's bluff instead of scurrying away with his tail between his legs, |
I share your sentiments Oxygen. Now every Nigerian will believe he's got something to hide, Staying back would have at least given him a chance to clear his name;redeem his image or evoke the sympathy of the Nigerian public(as if that amounts to much to our moneybags) after Ribadu might have done his worst. |
There's obviously no basis for comparison.Usher can't stand up to Kelly in a hundred lifetimes, |
. And in the unlikely event I miss the coveted 3rd class shot n' I'm politely asked to withdraw from( or I'm booted out of) my chosen course of study-that makes me a potential Bill Gates(an often cited drop-out)
