😂. Funny enough, most of these drugs find their way back into the streets. The drug trade is a serious money spinner in Nigeria with a cartel that cuts across politicians, celebrities, billionaires and industrialists. NDLEA simply sweeps the streets of the remnants. And Nigeria having a young population of over 100 million people (most of who are unemployed, under-employed and frustrated), happens to be the perfect market for these drugs. But finally, "Igbo" no be drug na! |
MichaelSokoto:Them wan spoil Seun face for twitter..😂! |
Na mumu dey sidon watch Nigerian football matches! |
Kyase:I don't even know what's wrong with Father Hyacinth Alia. While others have settled into governance and already commissioning projects, Hyacinth is busy chasing Ortom from pillar to post with stupid press statements everywhere. Even if you want to probe your predecessor, hand records of his crimes to the relevant authorities and face the masses who elected you. Being a man of the cloth, one would have expected him to fare better than our average politicians. |
Lol. This is akin to spraying perfumes on a mature he-goat. We play too much in this country. It's like anybody can just wake up these days, grab a microphone and decide that his opinions are sound enough to be aired to the Nigerian public. |
Throwback:This news is emanating from far away Katsina, between the APC and PDP, yet you somehow managed to find a way to smuggle Peter Obi into the discourse. Men them dey o..😂!! |
helinues:I knew you'd be here. You relish every opportunity to put your tribal shenanigans on display. Do you never get tired? How do you even feel not being known for any other thing apart from your ethnic extremism and intolerance on nairaland? You can't go an entire day without hauling slurs at Igbos or obidients or anyone else with a contrary opinion to yours. O wrong nau! |
Let them put him inside Afokang Prison in Calabar for just one week. He'll come out with a testimony of how fellow inmates helped "cure his craze". |
Best news I've read so far today! That low-budget Neymar should rest. I don't even know how the Glazers sat down to reason before paying top dollar for this unhinged clown. Football you no sabi play, but you say na woman you wan dey beat! Very annoying bastard! |
garfield1:😂. Have you seen the state's civil service? It is largely dominated by Ugep people. Even the police and prisons have been diluted by Ugep people. And you're right, we're preparing CY for bigger things. The Enoh you're talking about, is it the former Commissioner for Lands and Housing? He seems to be the only power horse Idomi has produced in recent times. I don't even know what Goddy Ettah's problem is. Why won't he just sit in the State and show his mettle? He spends more time in Abuja than Cross River. And grassroot politics is not a game you can play in absentia. It's one of the major reasons young men like CY are starting to bury firm roots. |
😂. Another one for the die-hard Obidients and the Emilokan congregation. |
arantess:Omoh! There's simply no love lost between the Igbos and Yorubas here on nairaland. The animosity is getting to very frenetic and scary heights these days. |
garfield1:When you say "end up like Owan Enoh", you make it sound like the man is finished politically. He still has a few usable years left in him and he hasn't done bad for himself so far. Clement Ebri is a spent force. He more or less plays the elder statesman role right now. Obeten Okorn, Nelson Ofem, Usani Usani all have no political value in the overall scheme of things. I don't know if it's bad political calculations that have been the bane of Akin Ricket's career but he hasn't exactly achieved peak status so far, and doesn't look likely to. As for Obono-obla, it is now he's understanding real politics😂. It's not by enjoying presidential clout by virtue of an appointment. Young men are giving him political uppercuts at the grassroots, very reason he doesn't like CY. Already, Eteng Jonas is wiping the floor with his ass! |
Ecosystem4u:I don't know how "less hurtful" you believe the ingredients of truth should be, but I can tell you for free that things should always be called what they are. Whether you call him a mad man or you describe him as being mentally challenged or psychologically unstable, the crux of the matter be say the nigga don colo, and polishing the grammar isn't going to change that. |
Solsix:Benedict Bengioshuye Ayade has no political value in Cross River. The current governor won because he's very liked all over the State. And the PDP decided to field a candidate who's from the Central, in direct contravention of the zoning formula that has long existed in the state. |
VIKTO83:I've had my randy years, but for the love of me, I have never been able to wrap my head around the idea of sleeping with a complete stranger and paying her for it. Like, how am I even supposed to muster an erection for somebody I know nothing about?! The Tinder App is awash with adorable young Nigerian girls and the moment you type "Hello" to anyone, it won't take more than five minutes for her to give you a price list. It's literally a market place for the bodies and vaginas of young ladies. Imagine what young women are becoming, yet they somehow want to be treated with respect and dignity! |
Franzinni:You're not a good person..😂 It's totally determined by your mind anyway. If you're too buried in the sensual pleasures of the moment, you'll lose yourself in there and probably beat Usain Bolt's 100m record atop the shenkes. But if the aim is to tease, please and satisfy the kuntus, your mind works to that rhythm. And while you're clapping those butt-cheeks, your head be telling your down-below "come on fool, show this barney who's boss! Give it to her hard and long! Make her scream and pant cause you're the man." |
Nairalanders sha.🤦♂️! |
Una don come again this sunday !You people will not allow somebody to knack in peace. One of the very few ways a Nigerian man can unwind and lose the entire stress that comes with living in this country, and you people still want to take it away? How can anybody tell me not to press well-rounded and succulent bress in this life? Please how? |
garfield1:CY has always had that domineering persona. He does his best to be the alpha in any set-up. I don't know whether to call it arrogance or tenacity. After he won the Mr Leboku crown in 2013, he went ahead to be a strong voice in the processes and outcomes of all the subsequent yearly contests. Same way he wormed himself into the Cross River politics machinery. So I won't be surprised if he's already starting to call shots at that level. John Ifere is just another basic Nigerian politician. Expectations of him are at best, average. |
God abeg, which kind problem be this with Nigerians na😂? Person just wake up decide to transfer him life burdens give another person, and you even still get mind dey find money on top. Even that engine no good. |
garfield1:Lol. Of course Cyril James Omini has to do well. He's always had a good heart even before politics. He appeals to the young and the old. And at this rate, it's safe to say that his political career in Nigeria has just begun. |
Uba Sani of Kaduna has really surprised me so far. I didn't exactly expect much from his government considering his predecessor's woeful performance in terms of security. But he has thus proven that the apple can sometimes be found far from the tree. I am still very sceptical about Prince Bassey Otu. But if indeed he has seen fit to clear the backlog of gratuities left him by that Obudu clown, that's then a positive for his administration. Though I still maintain that he has been slow to settle into governance. I have nothing but effusive commendations for the rest of the governors on your list. Mostly Babagana Zulum of Borno. One would have thought his second term would follow the usual path of securing his "retirement package" with the commonwealth of the people. Alas, he's still continuing his stellar performances. I sincerely love that man. Borno State struck gold this time. |
Adaisback:Wifey, are you nairalanding from the church😂? |
DiamondPant:Nothing irritates me like when sane humans decidedly relinquish the use of their brains. Look at where Nigeria is today! Wicked men are running our daily affairs, leveraging the lives of our unborn generations to satisfy their selfish and inordinate ambitions, yet we keep worshipping and praying to a god that is either too deaf to hear, or too nonchalant to care. Muslims will kill christians. Bandits will kill christians. Terrorists will kill christians. Armed robbers will kill christians. Kidnappers will nab christians for ransom. And through all of this, the god you're serving will tell you that serving him comes with trials and persecutions. Why? Why should a supreme being be subjecting you to all of those unfortunate sufferings and deaths? It's like a parent making his own child to suffer, which is insanity taken to worrisome heights. Next thing they'll do is threaten you with hell fire, as if any hell anywhere can be worse than being a Nigerian today. |
Lol. |
YorubaRonu01:You people can sha look for ways to squirm out of real life issues. You have a supposed "almighty god" who sits back and watches the consistent massacre of his flock, a god who in his infinite strength allows natural disasters to befall his adherents year in and out, but you're somehow too deliberately blind and overly compliant to doctrines and dogmas for you to ask the right questions. "Ways of god are not the ways of men" bla bla, while the same men keep being butchered and persecuted. What then is the essence of worshipping that supreme being if he cannot prioritise your survival? Even our local deities don't end up this toothless. Any god who's all words and no bite doesn't even deserve recognition. He works in mysterious ways koh! |
triple996:When did banditry become a general Nigerian problem? |
Bluntemperor:Why are you victimising the OP for simply passing a message? Is he the owner of the "nairametrics" news platform? Abi you have opted to pick the soft target for your rage over the sordid activities of the CBN in the last administration? Haba! |
flexyrule:"Incommatose" is not a valid word, neither is it a slang. |
