Wainey:One of my problems with nairaland users! Y'all somehow expect to put up opinions that will go unchallenged, and when other users make informed efforts to have lucid conversations with you, you term it arguments, as if the other party should be so dumb or timid to swallow whatever you put out here. Whether Zulum proclaimed he isn't a politician or otherwise, it doesn't change the fact that he's currently the Executive Governor of a Nigerian state, a full time political office, which makes him a politician for the duration of his office. |
AntiWailer:Okay. |
Wainey:Goodluck Jonathan became a governor by happenstance and often touted the same sentiment about not being a politician. But he went on to occupy Aso rock for 6years. His emergence as Yaradua's vice in 2007 even, was as a stroke of luck when Donald Duke rebuffed the option of deputising Umaru. |
GeneralPula:El-rufai is just superb at infrastructural development. He's a colossal failure with Human capital development and an avoidable catastrophe where religious extremism is concerned. I know Ganduje wasn't on the list but you can't put it past him when discussing Northern options for the Presidency. He fancies himself as a Northern force in the political scheme of things. |
Ozommadu:FreeStuffs is not MannaBBQ. That barbecue nigga is a very dumb fvcker! He doesn't give insightful opinions on issues. He just copies other people's opinions, does some surgical works on them, cuts here, joins there, pastes the finished work, then puts his retarded slogan "WE at MannaBBQ bastards want the best for our darling nation, Gbamsolutely", and somehow convinces himself that he has made points worth reading. This one on the other hand, looks for threads that launder the oozing image of the APC, composes and copies his comment somewhere else, then drops the thread, followed by his predictable comment some seconds later, so he'll be the first to comment on his own thread. Then when you make efforts to intellectually engage him on the contents of his own thread, he cries to the moderators like a child who's missing his toy. |
GeneralPula:The one mistake Nigeria cannot afford to make is have a President in the moulds of Nuhu Ribadu, Nasir El-rufai, Kashim Shettima and Abdullahi Ganduje. |
Wainey:He's not a politician but he's the Governor of Borno State. Is the gorvernorship seat not a political one..😂? |
AntiWailer:Your argument holds very meagre logic. Until December 1991, Lagos served as the Nigerian capital and had a number of Governors like Mobolaji Johnson (1967 to 1975), Ndubuisi Kanu ('77 to '78), Lateef Jakande ('79 to '83), amongst others. If Lagos as the seat of power then had presiding governors, why is Abuja's case different? |
Babagana Zulum. He's liked enough in the North to court absolute support. And if you put him in the ballot alongside other names, enlightened Southerners will effortlessly vote for him. His likeness for education and human capital development is only rivaled by Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. |
AllenSpencer:Good enough, it's not your money he's using to chase court cases, so try and rest. |
Yahaya Bello is the last person with any moral yardsticks to champion the course for the rule of law. A certified thug preaching the law to even saner minds..😂. Nigeria is such a comic jungle! |
Esomchi77:You bred broilers without a vaccination chart? How many mortalities have you had so far? And I'll like to see the broilers you raised for 2 months plus without the requisite medication flow chart. |
Esomchi77:Wow! Are you breeding for personal consumption? |
How do some of you even sit down to come up with these perceptions on issues?! |
Douglad:An attempt to save face? The first page of where I got my information from? Do you have a copy of the Encyclopedia of biological sciences? If you don't, then you're in no place to know where I got reference from. And if you're comfortable enough classifying a mosquito as an animal, by all means, please go right ahead. The last thing on my mind right now is to argue on elementary biology with a nairalander. |
Douglad:Kingdom - Animalia. Phylum - Arthropoda. Class - Insecta. That it belongs to the Kingdom Animalia doesn't make the mosquito an animal. As of 2022, over 2 million species of animals have been scientifically studied and described. Half of that figure are "insects", close to 100,000 are molluscs, etc. There are even plants that are unconventionally described as belonging to the animal kingdom, like the amoeba. |
You did not remember all of this in 2014 when Buhari was threatening fire and brimstone, soaking dogs and baboons in blood, or when Bashir Ahmad was championing the course for a civil war over subsidy removal or even when Tinubu, Fashola and Buhari wey frothing in the mouth about forming a parallel government. Today, Obi makes an innocent statement with words that have no propensity to foment chaos, and you're already creating threads and pushing untrue narratives just to poison minds. You don't treat a woman in your home like a subordinate under subjugation, then expect her to smile and be proud of that poisonous marriage. The way some of you treat Igbos like people without equal stakes in the Nigerian project, there'll be a limit to this nonsense one day and when that tribe revolts, some of us in the South South will identify with their course. There's a limit to how much any human can tolerate a thing! And Tinubu has to be mad to read the riot act on Obi or even seek to attempt touching him. Obi's support base consisted only of 40 percent Igbos. The rest came from other parts of the SS, SW, NC and persecuted Christians all over the North. So should your drug dealing President decide to be stupid enough to hound Obi, it would do you people plenty of good to call him to order. |
9182736455O1999:Mosquitoes are insects na..😂 |
Douglad:Mosquitoes are not animals baba..😂. |
BadEnglish:Really? You have something to do and you're here by 6am commenting on a supposed lazy person's thread? |
Esomchi77:Day 7 - First vaccination. Day 14 - Second vaccination. Day 21 - Third vaccination. |
Na mumu dey get hope for Nigerian Judiciary! |
Ambber:Because she suits my specifications of a knack-able young woman. I'm going to commit resources to the endeavour. |
ChiefJusticeFuc:You're shouting bros. Calm down and let us follow proceedings together. |
JP Morgan said the CBN is owing banks about 7billion dollars, Shonubi responded and said it wasn't true. Today Shonubi says CBN is going to repay 6.6billion dollars owed to banks. Why then did the CBN deny JP Morgan's initial claims? |
franco3075q:Now imagine that Nyanya scenario being your everyday reality, as is the case in Lagos. |
And for some reason Abuja Electricity Distribution Company just decided we don't need to watch the Tribunal proceedings on tv. Nigeria will always find ways to just fvck up your everyday life! |
Esomchi77:After the third vaccination. You're at liberty to decide when, but I usually begin from day 25. |
Okay. Let us know when he's dead. |
Lol. And I heard the man is in India, closing deals. |
I need some alcohol... |
IconicR:What?! |
