Car TalkCar Is Difficult To Start When Engine Is HOT, Very Ok When Engine Is...SOLVED by boldx(op):
My car is 2000 sienna. 3.0 Litre V6 engine.
The engine cranks well when cold and comes alive but does not start easily when Engine is HOT unless i throttle a little. I have scanned and there are no codes at all.
The car runs extremely well, doesn't drag at all when climbing a steep slope. No rough idling at all.
On live data, STFT is -3.8, LTFT is 0.0 for bank 1 and 2. Timing advance is 15-17 degrees.
The thermostat is still very much in the car and it doesn't overheat. Normal optimum temperature is 91*C. I don't think its a fuel pump issue.
Am thinking of ECT sensor from my online research. Please help. This is complicated for me.
Many thanks in advance.
FamilyRe: How Do I Forgive, So I Can Get Married? by boldx(m): 9:53pm On May 30, 2016
obowunmi:
God has no hand in marriage. It's all a myth and it's a blatant lie that Pastors sell. I was one of those disillusioned people who felt that God had a hand in marriage and selected our mates.

I have done all kinds of fasting (7 days - no water and no food, 14 days until dawn-7pm, 3 days, 21 days... ) since I was 21 years old. My parents gave me the deadline of 30 years to start my family.

I am NOW approaching 30 and still there's no one that speaks to my heart. Its very hard and I find myself very frustrated with God.

Now, I have to resort to my parents finding me a girl who I will marry and will be forced to grow to love. Something I had been trying to avoid.

I have been heartbroken and vulnerable with those who didn't deserve it and I've become mature in the process. Women only interested in me for my money and such.

Ooo well... Where is God in this matter? He is no where to be found. sad sad sad

I have to settle for arranged marriage. I am not angry, I just want anyone praying for a spouse to stop it with immediate effect. Have sex, do drugs, and enjoy yourself because there is no such thing as "the ONE"

You are the one who decides that you want to spend your life with someone - what everyone needs are skills to (1) choose a "nice" woman (2) learn how to get along with people

God will never send anyone. God has no hand in marriage. Don't believe the LIES that most people tell.

In one of the topics you posted, you said God has no hand in marriage. You can as well go to the street and pick another lady so they can continue giving you street behaviour. All the best, Mr CAT

I am sorry to say but it seems you are on a fast lane. Why will you desire a CAT when God has created you in his image. Please answer this question: How many ladies have you disappointed in the past?

Please what does the name OBOWUNMI mean ?
FamilyRe: How Do I Forgive, So I Can Get Married? by boldx(m):
I had d same experience growing up. By God's mercy, i am married. Such experience could be quite challenging. It is well. You need prayers and counselling and accept God's love. With God ALL things are possible. If u have taken advantage of ladies in the past. You need to ask God for forgiveness, repent and accept Jesus. Let the love of God take deep root in your heart.

With the current dollar rate, each plug is about N500 though platinum single tip cost about N1000 each but the N500 plug will work very well. You dont need a mechanic to change plugs for you. If they charge you much more, you might be paying for your ignorance. Be very CAREFUL! A guy living outside outside Lagos posted pictures of one fine Nissan pathfinder 2000 series planted with milk-like colour on this very nairaland even yesterday. I showed interest, he agreed with my price and i requested for more pictures. I copied the plate number for verification even to peruse the validity of the registration. But I discovered is invalid. Please be careful of awoof!

He that hath ears let him hear what capoditutti is saying.

Please download the excerpt (ms-word document) i attached in my blog on bloodline curses in a family. It will blow your mind and you may start having some connections about particular destructive/negative trends in a family as experienced by this man .
FamilyRaised By An Abusive Father - John Turnipseed by boldx(op): 1:30pm On May 17, 2016
I watched this guy on DSTV channel 344 today. I was quite inspired and I felt like sharing.

A little more than two decades ago, a yearlong residential drug-addiction treatment program at Minneapolis-based Eden House helped turn John Turnipseed’s life around.

Though today he is two decades sober and vice president of the Center for Fathering at Minneapolis nonprofit Urban Ventures, Turnipseed’s earlier life was consumed by drug addiction and violence. A member of the family that founded Minneapolis’ notorious Rolling 30s Blood gang, Turnipseed was a drug dealer — and user. He eventually spent a decade in prison for his crimes. Thirty of his relatives remain in prison. Ten were convicted of first-degree murder.

Earlier this month, Turnipseed was a featured speaker at the Humphrey Policy Fellows’ second annual Big Think alumni conference, which focused on shaping policy around mental health, addiction and recovery.

Turnipseed told the group gathered at the University of Minnesota’s McNamara Alumni Center that he credits his own successful recovery from addiction to his lengthy treatment program. In recent years, shorter treatment and recovery programs have become the norm, he said, and he doesn’t believe they are as effective in promoting long-term sobriety.

I asked Turnipseed to expand on this point:

MinnPost: Why do you think long-term treatment and recovery programs work best for people battling addiction?

John Turnipseed: First off, when a person goes to treatment, especially in the urban community, it is usually because they have messed up everything in their life — financial support, housing, everything. I know from personal experience that turning yourself around is an enormous job. A person who goes into treatment for addiction to crack has probably for two years been off and on a crack run. For those two years, on a weekly basis, they have probably taken a hit of crack 2,800 times a week. If you spend $100 on crack a day, you are going to hit that pipe. That means you have taken your brain from ground zero to 1,000 miles an hour something like 700 times. That’s hard on your brain and your body.

A treatment program that lasts for 21 days or even for two months only gives you time to let your body adjust to being normal. When they are in the process of physically coming down from addiction, people can’t sleep. They are depressed. There’s a whole lot going on. After those first two months of recovery, that’s when you’re finally receptive to hearing the stuff that people are telling you. Really letting the recovery messages sink in takes another few months. Then, after your body is rested and recovered, you’ve got to figure out your next steps. About six months after going sober is when — taking into account that you’ve eaten correctly, your stress levels have gone down and you’ve seen a doctor about health issues — it’s time for you to start looking for a job, which, for the average person, is going to take three to six months to find. You shouldn’t have to leave treatment without having those pieces in place.

Ideally, to be successful in recovery from addiction, when you leave treatment you should have a job and a place to stay and a relatively good health record. I can’t see anyone doing that successfully in under a year.

EducationAdvice - Requirements For A 2nd Degree In Law by boldx(op): 1:40pm On May 08, 2016
Hello Nairalanders,

Please i need an advice particularly from Law students in Federal, state and private universities in Nigeria.

I have a first degree in Engineering from University of Benin. (Second class upper). I have a great inspiration to study Law as a 2nd degree.

Please i need you to help me get the requirements for studying Law through Direct entry for your university. I did not do Literature, History or Government in secondary school.
I may have to register for WAEC again if that will be my last option. But I heard lots of Nigerian universities accept 1st degree holders as Direct entry students.
