ophilly:Wow!!! N1.6M for this Naija used ride? Tokunbo is N1.25M in Lagos. That is pretty too ridiculous. A used car is a used car especially with bad roads in Nigeria. Forget repackaging oh !!! |
kevyngbash:Nope! |
papiroza:Its still available. |
llade:llade, I hope all is well. You left Abuja for Cotonou. Hmmm |
Rubbish, Rubbish, Excellent Rubbish. I use a Toyota car with 3.0Litre V6 engine. 3 years and waxing stronger by the day. Immediately i saw this thread, i knew this guy will include Toyota 3.0 Litre V6. My car engine is well maintained with 5W30 engine oil. |

esiri4jesu:I had the same experience for the past 2 weeks. . After my trip to the east, I came back and my sienna started dragging. The gear transitions were perfect. The ride hesitates when I push the gas pedal at about 60 - 80km/hr. I did all the troubleshooting I could. No result. I scanned the ride and yet no result. After so many days, I felt i should check my camshaft sensor (near the oil cap) and it was a bit loose. I had to fix it back securely and now, my ride is back to life. Am so happy. Solution a) scan your ride if there is no positive result b) then do manual checks.

pasally:For one leg. Abuja price. We have a lot of fake toks here so brand new was better for me. My mechanic insisted i buy brand new. I bought toks first and he asked me to return it. I wouldn't spend my whole day looking for that. I don't trust those guys selling toks spare parts. |
I bought a brand new one for N8500. Please do not buy tokunbo. Its not worth it. The tokunbo i bought was also bad. My mechanic told me to return it and asked me to buy a brand new one by myself. |
ARABICAN:Call me on Friday evening or Saturday. 09099447385. Lets fix time. Venue is Wuse 2 by Ferma. Opposite Dominos |

Driving behind an overloaded pickup truck is not entirely safe most especially when you are driving at a relatively high speed. A friend was driving his car (manual transmission) on a long express way precisely on Kubwa road. He was driving on the speed lane (inner left lane) and since other cars were almost beside him on adjacent lanes. He just thought his lane was just alright and there was no cause for panic. Incidentally, he found himself driving behind a Toyota Hilux pick up van that was carrying lots of furniture which were not tied up. Kubwa road. Somehow as they drove at a fairly good speed at about 100km/h, once of the chairs which was not tied up, fell off from the pickup truck and landed on his bonnet. With the sudden impact, the same chair fell on his windscreen and shattered it, making him to lose control. In a fright, he swerved his car to the left and his ride hit the concrete at the middle of the road making him to loose control. The impact on the car was so severe that his left fender, front bumper, headlights bonnet were badly damaged. Funny enough, the driver of the Toyota Hilux did not wait to stop to sympathize with the driver of the accidented car. He just zoomed on and disappeared. What a funny world! We can learnt a few lessons from this but we still hope on God to save us while driving. *Do not drive directly behind a loaded truck or pick up van *In a case where this is not possible to avoid, do not drive too close to such a truck. *Slow down to a speed you can control behind such trucks.
