Those questions are more of life scenario. Best you can do as a student is to input the knowledge you have gathered from studying that course to solve practical questions. That lecturer did that on purpose because of the following reasons
1. He want to test students on real life case scenario instead of just theories
2. He want students to be subjective in their analysis. The question above is similar to a case study hence there is no specific answer but it depends on how convincing the students are.
3. He want to reduce examination malpractice hence copying from one another might be difficult if not necessary. Lecturers are becoming smart this days.
