Am sure when the baby later become addicted
To weeds people will say the baby is a bastard.

Not knowing the mum happens to be the cause.

When my wife was preggy many years back then we had nothing and rely on my little monthly take home.

We usually took solace on garri and groundnut
Fast forward to today the baby is now 7years old and can't do without garri and groundnut with cold water.

So ladies be ware of what u take duting preggy as it goes a long way int the life of the unborn baby.

I agree with your point wholly but then GEJ caused it. Thousands of people didn't want Buhari if there had been a better highly marketable canditate. PMB won because of media fan fare with billions spent. Many notable but less popular canditate didn't have the money to spend in order to make a lot of noise.

Even Obama emerged as a winner, though from a less visible platform going by his skin colour, a lot was spent to market him.

Who makes the loudest noise win these day o... It's all about noise.
True. Now that we know this, then Nigerians need to look past the noise and search objectively for a prime candidate.

I agree with the bolded and not the other part. Igbos are hated because of their rountinely unwanranted aggression and the civil war.

are trying to tell me now that the North have more competent hands that other regions?

I didn't say Nigeria is a family business but Nigeria, like every entity in the universe is network of relationships.

If we go by your analogy, do companies employ behind close doors generally or they flung the doors open for applicants to fill vacant position?

Therefore, let Buhari throw the opportunity open for screening and let's see, if we are to go by your analogy.
This is how it's done in normal societies. When you elect a president, you are saying that you have given him/her your total trust in running the country. How he does it within the confines of the law is his/her business. If he does not do a good job, then guess what, his party and himself will not be re elected in the next election. The buck stops with him. That is why proper screening is done before you elect a leader. You grill and ask tough questions before voting so that you don't encounter surprises. Nigerians are too emotional. You elect leaders based on emotion instead of objectivity and common sense. Buhari appealed to Nigerians emotion and won. Now everyone is crying over spilled milk. All Nigerians cared about was getting 5000 naira a month for doing nothing and promises of building sky scrappers on the moon. Buhari and jonathan are both useless and as far as i am concerned and Nigerians got and are getting what they deserve. There is nothing anyone can do about it now until his 4 years are up. Then maybe Nigerians will wise up in the next election and decide the next leader based on objectivity rather than emotions.

I would honestly advise you to migrate to another country. Even Ghana is preferable. That country will never change. In fact it's getting worse. Tying to enlighten most Nigerians on what is normal is like trying to teach a monkey how to use a fork; it's never going to happen.

see eh, sweet... Let's be frank, if you had 5 kids and you give to one more that the others, what kind of mother will the others call you? It's simple logic that even in a family, parents MUST NEVER show that they have a favourite child among their children.

What happened to Jacob in the bilble.

I don't why something as simple as this should be a problem to understand. PMB... GOOFED big time. I am his fan, a big one, but I am not the typed that attached sentiments to what I do... Even it were my blood brother, I would tell him he messed up.

That's me offline anyday anytime.
Your analogy makes no sense. Nigeria is like a public enterprise. If you own a company how would you fill your managerial slots? would you do it based on skill, experience and knowledge, or would you do it based on the regions where applicants are from? Nigeria is not a family business and it shouldn't be seen that way in order to succeed.

Buhari should just appoint those he wants and stop this hypocrisy of pacification.

The hand writing of his bigotry is audible to the deaf and legible to the blind.

Sometime ago I wrote that his north needs mind transformation to creep out of poverty and illiteracy; filling his cabinet with hundreds from the millions over there will not change the fact that they are the most impoverished in Nigeria. Ironically, they have ruled more than any other region.
To a lot of people on NL, i sound anti Nigerian because i call it as i see it. The common sense thing to do is for Nigeria to disintegrate. But, Greed and selfishness of a certain few who depend on the resources of the country will never let that happen. On the issue of Buhari's appointments, what should concern the average Nigerian is the quality of the appointments not the tribes of the appointees. But no, that is the least of their problem. The only reason why the appointments are such a big deal is because of the distrust among Nigerians. How do you live and work with people you don't trust? If Buhari caves in to everyone's demands, what will happen is the appointees will only work to further the aspirations of his tribe and not the country's. This country is perhaps the worst country on earth with the dumbest most blood thirsty archaic people alive on the planet today.

And why do you think we voted Buhari? regardless of whether he performs or not, people voted for him because they believe-no-they hope, he can clean out corruption which means that the majority of this country would actually like to see corruption cleaned out. Not everyone has a dirty mindset sir. Emphatically no!! In fact i would say that the majority of people in this great nation are the victims, in a way or another, of crimes that are committed by a minority. if my personal observation will not suffice then note that Pareto's law(the 80:20 principle) certainly supports this assertion.

Is this the same Buhari that you'all have started crucifying before he has even began working? You all say you want change but the criminal minded always want the status quo to remain the same. Always.

Allow me to make an amendment: you would clean the house because you realize that the house itself is not bad but it is just dirty and if you have the mental strength to stay and clean it up, you would have a very nice house.
Like i said bro's. One of three things would happen. you have stressed option one while it think it's more of option three. And if you insist on option one; how is the clean up working out for you all. I know what you are going to say next. "it's going to take a while to clean up the dirty house and you can't do it alone". My answer is how do you clean with others when everyone has a dirty constitution/mindset?

You don't need a "mental criminal sense" (if there were such a thing) to succeed in Nigeria. Talking about "making it" though, might i point out to you that crime for the sake of economic gain exists everywhere just perhaps in different forms? You think the Bernie Madoff's of the western world are anomalies abi?? I laugh. Anyhoo!! I'd be happy to agree to to disagree.
If you are about to rent a house and during inspection you find out that it is dirty, one of three things will happen;

1. You will clean the house because you are not a dirty person

2. You will leave that environment and never come back.

3. You will leave the house dirty because you yourself are a dirty people

Oga I have spent time in at least 6 different countries including the US and UK so tell me something else. Nigeria is not perfect of course but let me tell you a lil secret no place on earth is!!

Most of what you allege in your post is trash. Criminality and illegality are embedded in the mind of the average Nigerian?? What an insult but i'll overlook it because from your usage of the word average there i can tell you never took a class in statistics(or you took it without paying attention) so it's not your fault.

It's no one's fault if you lack the mental strength to make it in Nigeria sir but there are plenty plenty and plenty success stories in Nigeria, people who made it through clean hard work and the grace of God.
You are right. I don't have the mental criminal sense to make it in Nigeria. I just can't do it. It's just not in me. I recently left Nigeria to go back to base. Needless to say it was a horrific experience. I experienced what i thought was impossible. Immigration officers asking for bribes in plain sight of everyone at the airport. AN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Policemen asking for bribes in plain sight of everyone. Touts asking for money in plain sight of everyone. Military men beating people in plain sight of everyone. Policemen beating citizens in plains sight of everyone. And nobody saw a damn thing wrong with this. If this is normal to you then i'm really sorry. It's not to me.

Yet people, live, survive, thrive and prosper in Nigeria. Hmmm, something doesn't add up.
If you call it living. Which is why i said to explore. Survive yes. The human nature is built to survive. Thrive? once again like i said, you'all need to explore. When getting an education or skill does not guarantee success? i wonder your definition of thrive. Prosper? when criminality and illegality is embedded in the mentality of the average Nigerian why won't they "prosper"? Survival of the fittest. Law of the jungle. If anyone considers this living then i wonder.

True talk
The biggest problem with Nigerians is that they don't explore. Just visit ordinary Ghana (it's not too far) and your perspective will forever change. If you do, you will immediately realize that nowhere in Nigeria is fit to live in or safe. The fact that most people don't have a choice necessitates your need to hype what you cannot change. God help that country.
