What? I’ve loved sci fi since I was a kid. I stopped one time because of how ridiculous some of them were getting but I still have innate love for it.

Did you see “the office” yet? That’s where I fell in love with this jack Ryan actor now. He was “Jim” in that show. so funny

Please search for ozark and watch it. You will love it. Starring Jason Bateman

The force is strong with you young padawan. Never really got into watching the Office though. And I will check out Ozark. Thanks.

Politics / Re: Top 4 Nigerian Presidents Who Changed Nigeria By Postingday.com by Bollinger(m): 9:32pm On Sep 02, 2018
Sergentinfluenc:
Controversy, hate, fun and happiness is the simplest watchword to describe Nigeria. Everyone is suffering and smiling, but during the course of time, few people made a great impacts in the progress and downfall of Nigeria.

3. Olusegun Obasanjo

Olusegun Obasanjo became a notable enigma to be reckoned with, when he successfully became the president of Nigeria straight out of prison, and was able to retain his position longer than any other presidents thereafter.

His tenure brought about progress and leveled changes to the continuity of the country directly and indirectly.

Obasanjo established the EFCC and ICPC and also strengthened the Code of Conduct Bureau to fight corruption in Nigeria. This was the dawn of peace and the rebirth of criminals negotiating with the force.

Nigeria was crippled with debts, but his adminstration secured $18 billion debt relief from the Paris and London clubs and got Nigeria free of debt.

Source: https://postingday.com/2018/08/25/top4-nigerian-presidents-who-changed-nigeria/

You can always tell when someone was born in the 2000s in Nigeria. They have no sense of history. OBJ is the main reason Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The man single handedly destroyed the Nigerian psyche by saying corruption is OK. He institutionalized it. During IBB and Abacha's regime, people were still kinda scared to steal funds but not under OBJ. You guys must learn your history or are doomed to continue to make the same mistakes over and over again.

I just started Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on amazon prime. And I have Ozark season 2 lined up on Netflix already. Couch potato life loading grin

You be winch? I am watching Jack Ryan time now. It's not bad at all. I'm just glad they didn't try to make him into a Jack Bauer. Which one is Ozark? Haven't seen it yet. A chick who watches Sci fi. Who would have thunk?

Sounds like you have a fun plan for Labor Day. I don’t even have any plans. Just visiting his family today. I’ll probably just Netflix tomorrow

Lol. There's nothing wrong with Netflixing all day. I do that occasionally too sometimes. Have you watched Altered Carbon? Best sci fi on netflix i swear. If you have Amazon Prime check out The Expanse as well. It's the game of thrones of Sci fi. That's if you are into sci fi that is.

I know and he actually bought it from roadside sellers, but then I wouldn't want to have that experience again, I think I'm allergic to pork meat.

It's not that it's pork. It's because it has too much fat. Nigerians are not used to eating fatty foods. Lean pork on it's own is about the most delicious meat you could ever taste. I thought i hated pork too until my colleagues played a trick on me. We went to complete a road project and decided to go to a restaurant i had never been to. They said they'll order for me and a plate of grilled meat with salad and rice was placed in front of me. I ate and ate until i could no more. It was later i was told that it was pork i had just woofed down. Normally i detest pork but i found out the best way to consume pork is to remove the fat completely. Take bacon for instance. You'll change your mind the day you taste a BLT.

Religion / Re: The church is the solution to Nigeria's socio-economic problems‎ by Bollinger(m): 11:41am On Sep 02, 2018
oneolajire:

It takes vision to pursue a mission, it takes a man who sees the need to fill in the gap, it takes people who sees a lack before provisions can be made. God be praised for these exploits from Pastor Oyedepo, We pray for more visioneers for greater mission in nation building.

UyiIredia:
I highly agree. If the rate at which Nigeria builds churches and mosques especially in Lagos here went to schools, hospitals and craft centres Nigeria will be better than it is especially if we have good leaders take advantage of the ensuing skills and collaborate well to ensure such thing entities work well.

However, kudos to Oyedepo and I hope more churches follow in his footsteps.

So, let's look at it objectively and without emotion. After decades of Nigerians flocking to churches and having ashy knees from kneeling, what impact has it had on it's people or country for that matter? In this day and age you guys are still talking about an abnormal route contrary to what normal right thinking countries have taken to be successful. What has religion got to do with economic or social development? Sometimes i wonder why most of you even venture the thought of acquiring an education. Did the Japanese flock to churches after the second world war to become successful? Why una be like dis na? The simple truth is that poverty has evaporated the thought process of most Nigerians and because of that they cannot conjure up any good ideas so the next best thing is to do what every lazy man does; Which is to fall on their knees and Pray. Meanwhile, successful countries are on their feet running around and making milestones. Carry on.

And how does that make sense? If they don't disclose it, how are they going to fill positions?

How to grill;

1. Season well with salt, pepper/suya mix.

2. Fire up your grill and let the coal turn from black to ashy white.

3. Pour the coal into the grill in such a way that it fills half of it.

4. Let the grill heat up for 10 minutes.

5. Start placing your meat or chicken on the flame part of the grill. The objective is to sear/char your meat.

6. Once it is charred/seared, remove from grill.

7. Lift the wire mesh and place chunks of firewood on hot coal. The objective is to smoke your meat.

8. Place a flame resistant pan filled with water on the cool side of the grill. The objective is to ensure your meat stays succulent and not turn into kilishi.

9. Place the grill mesh back on the grill and place your meat on the cool side of it. Objective is to create oven conditions.

10. Keep adding firewood chunks as needed until your meat is well smoked and grilled.

See the animosity a well respected artist like 2face is getting on the subject of corruption. This is the problem in Nigeria. Not one single person hasn't been tainted by it to the point where no one has credibility on the issue. You guys are truly and royally phucked. Until everyone in Nigeria recognizes what the real issue is with corruption it's only going to get worse. You guys think it's bad now. Lol......you have no idea what's coming.

Yeah true.. things have been bad. Nigerians have been fleeing but it has never been this worse.

That's what my dad told me in 1980. Everyone says that every 4 years. You know what? It's still going to get worse until Nigerians recognize and accept what the real problem is.

Damn Buhari doesn't still realise the the current high rate of illegal immigrants from Nigeria trying to cross into Europe using the desert and ocean is as a result of his ultra poor leadership the has made hopelessness the only currency most Nigerians now come across which has seen Nigeria turn into poverty capital of the world in just 3 years with a mind boggling 6 Nigerians plummeting into abject poverty every minute .

Nigerians have been fleeing Nigeria in droves since the 80s. I don't think Buhari has been president since 1980. As dull as he is, he is not the only reason you all have problems.
