Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigeria’s New Job Creation Decreased By 69.9 Percent by Bollinger(m): 6:01pm On Aug 22, 2015 |
Mogidi: How anyone would think Bubu who couldn't create a job for himself (since 1985) would provide one for them is beyond me. What you don't realize is that the information is totally inaccurate. For you to have accurate variables, you need information. We all know how much Nigeria sucks in that regard. The large part of the statistics is based of of civil service jobs and large to average sized companies. What about the millions of Nigerians who engage in private business as sole source of income but don't pay tax. Those individuals are undocumented and there is no way the government can add them to their data in other to get true output. Their findings could be higher or lower, there is no way to know. |

What we have on Nairaland are just some self deluded arm chair presidents, policy strategists, economic giants etc who cannot even manage common recharge card business successfully. Lol. Seasoned. Are they not the same seasoned military hierarchy you blame for the problems in the army? So, let me get this straight, you don't trust their decisions normally, but you trust this one. You think Buhari is any better that jonathan. A leader is a reflection of it's citizenry. If the citizens are small minded and dull, guess what? it means the leader will be small minded and dull. Why, because the leader is selected from the citizenry. So, if the majority is dull and small minded, there is a high probability of picking mo.orons to lead you. |

philips70: Intelligence chief well done. This Nairaland is surely a comic site. Your common logic told you illegality and common sense cannot exist in a military force. It didn't tell you the morals of soldiers is next in line to training and weapons in winning a war of this nature where you don't even know who your enemy is. Well done Mr Logic. Type into google. "why is mutiny not good for the military, even if the mutineers have all the justification". Maybe if google explains it you will understand better. |

Tintinnoty: the first question you should answer is were they well moltivated? It does not matter. Mutiny is something that can you never let happen in the military. That is how coups begin. I know. When they say jump, you say "how high" period. Pride in defending your country supersedes all others. Discipline is paramount. Back in the day, why do you think they used to shoot soldiers on the spot in the battlefield for refusing to fight? When a soldier is told to go die, guess what? that's his job. That is how wars are won. |
Politics › Re: Army Screens, Recalls Dismissed Soldiers (dailytrust) by Bollinger(m): 5:52am On Aug 21, 2015 |
Tintinnoty: good move Nigerians think with their asses. How is this good. No wonder BH is winning. When it comes to soldiering and war, this is what you can never let happen. What is most important, even more than weapons, is loyalty, and pride. Granted, they had fears, but as soon as they were dismissed, they should have stayed that way. Soldiers are a supposed to be a different breed. what message are you sending to other soldiers. "oh, it's ok to question orders. it's ok to mutiny" Nigerians are too emotional. They've just sowed the seed of defiance in the Nigerian army. |

Fashion › Re: 5 Advantages Of Darkskin Over Lightskin by Bollinger(m): 1:17pm On Aug 19, 2015 |
misspicy: Dark skin is cheaper and easy to maintain, most people refer to darkskinned peeps as naturally beautiful or handsome, infact darkskin represent our african legacy.so we checking out some advantages of been darkskinned, this post is aimmed at educating people who feel inferior because of their darkskin and become pressure to change their skin colour....just know that you are beautiful and handsome just the way you are...you dont need to listen to Mrcork because he secretly wish to be like you...Now lets get it on
1)You dont have to worry about maintaining your skin colour unlike Lightskinned people Most times you see lightskinned peeps changing creams up and down all in the name of looking for one that suits their skin colour, they spend thousands of naira just to get a suitable cream and most times this products are not readily available, well darkskinned peeps need no bother about all that, all we do is buy shear butter or vaseline from any store or market and you are good to go,inshort it wunt cost us more than a hundred or two hundred naira
2)No one will accuse you of bleaching Some people are accused of bleaching even if they are naturally lightskinned because of the crase of bleaching creams nowadays,in d race of trying to maintain their lightskin they go for damaging cosmectic products this is not the case if you are darkskinned,No one will even suggest that you are bleaching.you only look more radiant with #50 vaseline, although vaseline is getting scarce now thanks to our three legged brothers
3)wearing of bright coloured cloths won't bother you, because you look nice in them. Have you all noticed a lightskinned girl on yellow or red gown, she looks like rainbow,a darkskinned person need no bother about colours because most colours look nice on them
4)A scar on the darkskin does not easily show unlike lightskin unlike lightskinned people scars are almost invisible on darkskin, while it leaves a black patch on lightskin, most times they dont play rough and even avoid the use of sharp objects, they know it will leave an everlasting mark on them
5)wound heals faster on darkskin than lightskin Have you all noticed that when a darkskinned person get a wound on their skin,it heals faster compared to a lightskinned person
The list is inexhaustible, please add yours....... Another 12 years old's topic. |

Politics › Re: Buhari Orders Probe On How ISIS Leader Got Nigerian Visa by Bollinger(m): 3:32am On Aug 19, 2015 |
IbnSultaan: The Nigerian government has ordered a full investigation into how a wanted terrorist was granted Nigerian Visa in Lebanon to visit the country. An official of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign affairs told Vanguard in Abuja, Tuesday evening, that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to investigate the circumstances surrounding the issuance of Visa to the wanted terrorist who has been on the wanted list of several governments.
It would be recalled that a radical Muslim cleric, Ahmad al-Assir was arrested by Lebanese authorities as he attempted to leave Lebanon to Nigeria via Cairo.
He was said to have arrested while attempting to travel with a fake Palestinian passport with a valid Nigerian Visa at the Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport early Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Lebanon.
According to the official of the ministry of foreign affairs who spoke with Vanguard on the condition of anonymity, the ministry of foreign affairs has been directed to explain how the wanted terrorist was able to get Nigerian Visa.
“The reported arrest of the wanted terrorist is a huge embarrassment to Nigeria and the President has directed that the matter should be investigated. The embassy in Lebanon has been directed to furnish the ministry with details of how the man got the visa. The National Intelligence Agency Officer has been directed to provide details of what happened” the officer said. Details later…
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/08/buhari-orders-probe-on-how-isis-leader-got-nigerian-visa/ Seriously? is he just waking up to the reality of just how porous our customs and immigration really is? No need for probe. Waste of money. I can sum it up in these words. " YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF CORRUPT OFFICIALS" |

Anasko: http://saharareporters.com/2015/08/18/nigerian-army-appoints-commander-final-offensive-against-boko-haram-insurgents Sometimes i wonder if people understand the gravity of their utterances. For there to be a final offensive, then it means a war has almost been won. Does it look like the war against BH is being won so far? Before anyone responds, think about the daily attacks and the death rate. Terrorism is not what you fight in the bushes; it is a door to door, CQC assault/guerrilla warfare/espionage. It does not have a time table nor an expiration date. It is ongoing. Why? because what drives terrorism is an ideology. It is very difficult to kill an idea. You can only suppress it. Only re education can change an idea and that is almost impossible when it comes to terrorism. If our leaders don't understand this fundamental concept, then i fear for the war. From an experienced warfighter. |

You are absolutely correct about the pretty girls around the guy. He tried recruiting a very close trend of mine and my younger bro but was not successful.
