BLINGZ88: would you mind giving me an example of the hard choices needed. 50 million dollars was recently found in a house in lagos. Before that, an amount close to that was found in a shop. Corruption, which is in the blood of most Nigerians, is the bane of the country because the society fuels it. For example, giving policemen bribes is as normal as breathing in Nigeria. It is as if a child born today in Nigeria has no choice but to become corrupt because of the society he/she grows up in. How do you think these kinds of behavior will stop? Bros the hard choice you need to make as a people is; Do you choose to continue to live your lives the way you have been or are you willing to shed blood through revolution to save your future. If Ghana can do it then why can't you? Ghana is better for it today. Start googling. |

mightyhaze: take ur time b4 u pass out on dis thread adamu!
How can u be comparing an African region that was reduced 2 rubbles in a relatively recent war, with developed countries of the world? If u had compared former eastern region with other Nigerian or even African regions,it wud hav even made a semblance of sense.
Take it easy
And take heart adamu! Lol. Keep making excuses. Germany was reduced to more than rubble after WW2. The whole country. I say again, not one region but the whole country. It was decimated completely. Why is it that they were able to turn the country into one of the cleanest and most beautiful countries in the world. Or are you saying they are superior to you? Face reality my brain dead neanderthal. Majority of Nigerians are no different from cavemen who do not know how to function in the modern world. You guys are still burning people in the streets, littering uncontrollably, looting yourselves blind and the funny thing is, you keep burying your heads in the sand and making excuses to make yourselves feel better. Carry on. What a people. Smh |

BLINGZ88: excuses, I never make excuses for my failure, I'm currently repeating a semester in medical school and I never blame anyone for that. but you can't see a problem and not call it a problem because you don't want to give an excuse. let me give you an example, more than half of Nigeria's economy if from the oil in the Niger delta, but the north get a bigger bulk of the budget and they disguise it as special intervention fund. do you think the people recieving this money will want change?. no, statues quo is a better alternative for them right now. northern politicians own 80% of the oil block. you heard that right oil blocks, this is not propaganda bullshit, it is public knowledge, the constitution support it. their northern brothers support it because somehow, the Monsey tickles down to them, and guess where the oil blocks are, you guessed it, Niger f*cking delta. nobody can affect change while being the unpopular minority. in kano state alone, they are 3million almajiris (homeless Islamic school children), ready to be used in any political game. when the odds are against you, you will just have to find a way to improve your situation and that of those directly around you, that what most of the south are doing. the north is not to be blamed for the problem alone, we the southern part have to take some of the blame too, for fracturing because of simple and temporal political gain. simple, if you are not friends with the north, you can't affect change in anyway. More excuses. You are identifying problems but can't face the fact that hard choices needs to be made to effect the change you want. Carry on. |

BLINGZ88: you still make me laugh with your lack of knowledge about Africa, nigeria is as religious as it gets, the south are Christians while the north are Muslims. the Christian south are more open to change, hence the little development they have while the north are kinda extremists, they believe anything their Muslim priest tell them and their politicians control those priests. so, any development is stop by that mentality. many changes have been proposed but non saw the light of day because the north see most of them as a treat to their religious and political status quo. they also make up 70% of the population. nigeria and African problem are as complex as they come. most of the knowledge I offer you can't be seen on textbook because its an eye witness report. many uprising were cursed before it started. I find it charming that you think you have all the solution to Africa's problem. again, if you stop the insults you might actually learn. Smh. I remember when i came to America for my bachelors. I still had your kind of phucked up mentality. Things were so hard because i had to work and go to school at the same time. This is not a culture we are used to in Nigeria. The pressure of paying bills, schooling, and working was overwhelming and it started to affect my grades. Guess what one of my professors told me. "if you don't want to prolong your stay in school which eventauly gets very expensive down the road, you need to get your shiit together". Immediately i realized that i was in a society that does not accept excuses. I was making excuses. I had to learn to do what my predecessors did to survive and achieve in other to accomplish their goals. You have a problem, you identify it is a problem and you fix it. You guys are so used to making excuses for yourselves. Who's fault or problem is it if you don't get your shiit right? I can tell you one thing for sure; it's not the rest of the world's problem. You are making excuses as if you are expecting someone else to come fix your shiit. Guy, continue. |

BLINGZ88: lol, is that what you think. that's why you are a soldier, you are born to take orders, nothing wrong with that though, just that sometimes , you just get used. many people here share the same die hard mentality with you but you have to understand that not everybody is crazy. again, I will use middle east as a case study, they have not achieved anything other than the death of almost half a million people. south Sudan tried it, now, they are the poorest country in the world and people are dying from starvation. maybe if you stop all the insults and think with you brain. you might realise that since WW2, conflict haven't really solved any problem. I just don't understand why you only see what you want to see. This is the reason you all are in the predicament you are in. I can just see it. A bunch of brain dead people with your mentality coexisting together can never achieve anything. Hence your lives in Nigeria. The reason the middle east is the way it is is because of religion. Nothing good comes from mixing governance with religion. That is a fact. This is the reason the founding fathers in America were very careful to remove any language in the constitution that would suggest they were partial to any God. Look back at Europe in the middle ages. They were as phucked up as the middle east today. #Spanish inquisition, etc. Fast forward to today. One section of the world has learnt it's lesson and removed religion from state and the other is completely immersed in it. Boom. I just expanded your knowledge again. You need to start paying for this. I doubt if you can afford though. |

BLINGZ88: you still haven't answered how that is an analog to Nigeria's situation. it still haven't changed the fact that was not a revolution against the leading class. slavery was the main reason, there are other reasons but that was the main. Haven't I said it before that you are too re.tarded to understand? Let me try this again. Your lives are miserable because you are like children who want to be led like sheep. You bury your heads in the sand hoping and praying that freedom will miraculously fall on your laps so that you don't have to fight for it. The weird part is you are the architect of your own predicament because you put the people oppressing you in the positions they are in today. You claim to he powerless in changing the status quo upon which I gave you an example of a country whose ordinary citizens changed their own outcome. I just showed a 12 year old kid what I just wrote. He understands. I can guarantee you won't. |

BLINGZ88: I find it hard to believe that you are a soldier, because real soldiers know the horror of violent conflict. no one deserves to die for an idea. maybe u are a boy scout or something but you have never been to a battlefield, only then will you know that violent/war/revolution must be used at the utmost end of need when every other option fail. Well, unfortunately what you believe and what is reality are two different things. That bold statement of your is precisely the reason you are living in a dilapidated society. And bros, i am a veteran of the Afghan and Iraq wars. Freedom comes at a price and only citizens who have fought for it understand it. BLINGZ88: when people with similar selfish interest bind together, congratulations, they now have a revolution. what is the difference between a revolution and civil war. just the terminology used. you keep referring to my mindset, have you ever gone to protest?. I was at Abuja during the bring back our girls campaign, against Jonathan and I'm igbo. I'm every man had his limit, when some people don't want things to get better and your are among the few, you don't have any other option but to survive by yourself. I don't support and independent biafran state but I don't support a central government nigeria either. true federalism is the only way forward in nigeria with every geopolitical zone to handle their economy and tax with some present age going to a central government but nigeria is the other way round. look what is going on, imprison any oposition in ideology that he can, from nnamdi to the shia guy from the north with out trial. you don't know the mindset I have because I have tried for the country but I bet that you just sit and type all day on social media.
You throw the word REVOLUTION around like it is nothing. I bet you don't want to be in a country that is revolting, look at the middle east, after the Arab spring of 2011 or Ukraine. be careful what you wish for, and I hope you won't run at the first sight of violence.
read about the biafran war, the origin I mean, then you will understand why it was a revolution turned civil war. Loooooooooooool. Guy any meaningful change will and always involve bloodshed. That is a fact. Nigerians are so timid and love to bury their heads in the sand. You even used the French and Russian revolution. I'm sure your version is that they were singing kumbaya to effect the change they needed . And bros, I am a war fighter. You might be a warrior behind a computer but I do it for a living. |
