ACCA far better ,

I dumped ICAN when i heard about what i stand to gain with ACCA

Presently i work with an American company in Nigeria, where am been paid in Dollars,i got the job through ACCA Nigeria office,i have not even gone far at all in ACCA before i got that job,and the same goes for two other people i know who are presently with multinational Companies though they are through with their ACCA,they also got their jobs through ACCA Nigeria.

With ACCA you can get a B.sc from Oxford brookes University and also MBA.
See what ACCA have done to some peolple who are wise : you can imagine the Discrimination among B. SC holders and HND holders in Nigeria.
With ACCA, an HND holder in accounting just need to pass (5) papers in ACCA (f5-f9) and after she will wite a project and LO AND BEHOLD she becomes a B.SC holder from a foreign University, there are lot of people who have benefiting from it. And for those people who one way or the other could not make 2.1 or First Class tthis is another chance for you to get that, one of friend had first Class and by Gods Grace thats my Target too,all you need, is to get at least 68% in all your 5 papers and Pass your Project.
The same goes for a person that read Accounting Education from a university (just 5 papers)you have your B.sc.
Recently i met a very young girl an SSCE Holder at a study centre, and she was studying for CAT papers as she is not yet 18 to go through the MATURE ROUTE and she explained to me that after her CAT papers she will go for the ACCA papers that will qualify her to get B.SC from Oxford brookes and go for NYSC,i was amazed, she said NYSC recognise it ,that Oxford Brookes just need to send her Transcript to NYSC,which ACCA office in Nigeria help students to do, by her calculation she just need 2 to 2 and half years to get her B.SC and go for NYSC.By 20 yrs she's done with B.SC and service and she will continue with her Final Stage with ACCA.
There are load of benefits you can get with ACCA.And am telling you right here in Nigeria multinational companies will consider an ACCA holder to an ICAN holder.
And to an ACCA holder, ICAN is not a problem after your ACCA you will go and collect your ICAN with just an hand shake with ICAN president. smiley

FYI,you cannot use ICAN to work outside Nigeria.

I have said that base on what my friends over there says even my aunt She is an ICAN holder, she had almost 10 yrs of experience before she relocated to UK,she got a job quite alright but she was told she still have to apply for ACCA MEMBERSHIP.

And please misleading who with what false information even ICAN cannot do anything about the present growth of ACCA in Nigeria.

@he-guy.

If you go thru my earlier post, like i said i got my present job thru ACCA and even during the may forum i attended i met some other people that got their job thru ACCA and they are foreign companies.
so my dear in my own opinion it really worth it.And if Toyin the country manager want to be generous this time again she might pay for some peoples transport ,during the last trainning, some people that came from oustide Lagos were paid their transport.PLS DONT GO THERE AND BE REQUESTING FOR TRANSPORT OH!,PLS GO WITH YOUR MONEY IN CASE SHE DOESNT WANT TO BE GENEROUS THIS TIME oh!
But really even without that it really worth it.and you will be given a good treat u know plenty plenty to eat ,ACCA souvenirs at least go and eat out of your subscription money(the pounds u have been sending to UK) tongue
Go with your CV they will request for CVs specially from people who are in attendance, didnt go with mine but we were given an email to forward our CV.

Religion / Re: The Truth About Christ Embassy Healing School by bollyaddy: 8:27am On Nov 24, 2008
Now hubreality, unlike Pastor Chris, I have not claimed to have a special gift of healing or miracles; if I did, then I should live up to it like some of the Apostles did. Apart from claiming to have the special gifts of healing and miracles, Pastor Chris claims (and teaches same) that the new creation was recreated on terms of equality with God. He teaches that we possess the same miracle working and creative abilities as God (wow!!) and that we have exactly the same ability Jesus had when he walked the earth.

He makes all these bogus claims and yet he would not minister to real cases of physical disability and deformity (if you believe he actually does, then you have been misguided); doesnt this show that he doesnt posses these special gifts afterall or that he does not have the same ability as Jesus contrary to what he teaches. It is such erroneous beliefs as these that will push a man to stage miracles in order to replicate the acts of Jesus. For someone to teach that the born again Christian is in the same class as God, he sure has put himself in a tight corner and would do anything to get out of it.
My dear hubreality, these false teachings find its root from ‘The Word of Faith Movement’ and its associated demonic doctrines which elevates man to the level of God and reduces God to the level of a mere man.
I love you once more hubreality but "Open rebuke is better than secret love." Proverbs 27:5
Be wise!!

@SIR JOHN
We have the same ability as Jesus, the question to everyone one of us is, why cant we do what Jesus did, live our lives absolutely by his word.
That saying that we are born into the same class as God will put oneself in a tight corner and would do anything to get out of it IS NOT TRUE.

Going by ur post, just because your sick folk was not healed, doesnt make it not real, yeah is not everybody that hands is been laid on and that is not to say that they are all people with real cases of physical disability and deformity.i will say we have different stories,i know of people with such cases that were prayed for and they got healed. there is no doubt that is everyone that are healed but am telling u there were people that are been healed .
JOHN ,ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE NO MATTER WHAT.

                                             BE HAPPY ABOUT TODAY!

Say not thou,What is the cause that the former days were better than these?for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.       (Ecclesiastes 7:10)

In the scripture above the Spirit of God is letting us know that its pointless wishing for so called " good old days"God wants you to be happy about today; not wishing you could go back in time and live in the days of your forebears, because you believe in things were better back then they are now.The bible lets us know that it's not wise to make such a comparism.
When you say things were better five or ten years ago than are today, you're inadvertenly making a self contraditory statement. For if truly, things were better five or ten years ago, that certainly ought to have given birth to better days today.Remember,a good tree will only produce good fruits. Therefore, what you're harvesting in your life today are the investments of five years ago.Whatever you did then was programmed to deliver to you what your life is today.
Always remember that todays's problems didn't arise of themselves. They're the offspring of yesterday's choices and manipulations. This is why you ought to ensure that every day ,you sow the right seeds for your tomorrow.Rather than wish for yesterday,be happy about the day in which you’re living. You’re here now,so this is your time.Be excited about  life and be hopeful about tommorrow’.Don’t wish for days that have passed because they will never come back again.
The problems of today are not for you to cry about; they’re your opportunities to create a change in your world.
Start programming yourself now for a better tommorrow by using all the necessary tools found in the Word of God.

                                   Confession

My path in life is the path of the just, which shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day! Thus for me,today is better than yesterday, and my tomorrow is better than my today.I’m on an upward and forward journey, and the story of my life is the testimony of God’s grace, mercy and kindness!

Hi,  Trust the facts

This is a real story of a young ex Unilag girl who passed away last month. Her name was Lola.
She was hit by a train at Oyingbo on her way to work at Apapa.

She was working at the MTN call center. She had a boy friend named Emeka, a banker who was recently transferred to Abuja. Both of them were true lovers that even distance could not separate them.
They were always talking on the phone. You could never see her without her Cell phone.

In fact she also changed Emeka's SIM from Celtel to MTN, so both of them can be on the same network, and save on the cost of calls.

She spent half of the day and most nights talking with Emeka because she got free calls.
Lola's family knows about their relationship.

Emeka is very close with Lola's family in spite of the tribal differences. (Just imagine their love).
Before she passed away at LUTH she told her friends "If I pass away please bury me with my Cell phone" she also said the same thing to her parents.

After her death at LUTH, the attendants couldn't carry her body to the mortuary.
A lot of them tried to do so but still couldn't.
They called more people and everybody tried to carry the body, the result was still the same. Eventually, they called a person who knew one of her priests in church who had the gift of communicating with the dead.

He sprinkled some salt and water on the body and started speaking to himself slowly. After a few minutes, he said "this girl misses something here."
Then her friends told him about her intentions to bury her with her phone.

He asked them to bring a coffin, and then he opened it and placed her phone and sim card inside the casket. After that they tried to carry the body. It could now be moved and they carried it away easily.

Everyone was shocked and sad, they were so shocked that Lola's parents did not inform Emeka that Lola had passed away and buried her quickly because of all the unusual circumstances.

After 2 weeks Emeka called Lola's mom,

Emeka:"Aunty, I'm coming to the house today, it is Lola's birthday please I hope you will cook something nice for me.

Don't tell Lola that I'm coming to Lagos today, I want to surprise her."

Her mother replied,  "OK You come to Lagos first, I want to tell you something very important."

After he came, they told him the truth about Lola. Emeka though that they were playing an April fool's joke. He was laughing and said” don’t try to fool me - tell Lola to come out, I have a Birthday gift for her. Please stop this nonsense".

Then they showed the original death certificate to him. They also gave him other proof to make him believe. (Emeka started to sweat) He said,  "It’s not true. We spoke yesterday. She still calls me.

Emeka was shaking.

Suddenly, Emeka's phone rang. "He said, see this is from Lola, see this, " he showed the phone to Lola's family. All of them told him to answer. He talked using the loudspeaker mode.

All of them heard his conversation. Loud and clear, no cross lines, no humming. It was the actual voice of Lola & there was no way others could use her staff sim card since it is nailed inside the casket before she was hurriedly buried.

They were so shocked and asked for the same priest (who can speak with the souls of the dead) again. This time he brought his Bishop along to help solve this matter.
