I'm commenting here for the first time and I want to commend each and everyone whose contributed to making these forum active and also sharing all necessary information for the success of delivery in obodo oyibo .

Please I have tried reading through , but I realized the more you read the less you understand and too much of information brings confusion (lol)

All I ask is if you have information on birthing in Arizona , please help share with me

My sister, I feel you. Same thing is happening to me now. Came in Tuesday morning, had 7 boxes and three car seats. Only two boxes and a car seat landed with us. Been calling them and threatening to sue. They even sent one box bearing my name that isn't mine and have refused to return the box to wherever they brought it from so they have recorded it that I have gotten that box. God being faithful, so far I have gotten the other 2 car seats and 2 boxes. Still praying and hoping for the other 3. I have been going to the airport everyday since I came back. Now they are asking for receipts for the items in the other 3 bags which I don't even have. Please let me know how it goes with yours cos they keep telling me they don't know where the other 3 are. It's well

I think you can fill a claims form. Thou check the website to see the of things u can claim plus u'd need ur receipts.

The legal route too can help if u ve a gud lawyer.

Thanks for the responce.... I have filled all the necessary forms they asked for receipts but unfortunately some of them are copletely wiped out

Hi wonderful people in the house....
Here is my POE experience
1st of all I was able to get pta 4k for myself also 4k for hubby don't ask me where cos he is actually a staff of the bank as pta has become a big deal now but I thank God I also did form A of about 7k for hospital bill.
Getting to JFK with my 2 other kids and hubby, my second child being American citizen. The cbp officer did not ask any single question from us he just started stamping us us in without duration. All he asked was "your daughter has blue passport how did she get it? He also answered by himself that was it when you came for vacation u had her and we said yes..... that was it
BTW I had all my papers together and was ready to declare but what was I supposed to do in that situation when he already wished us enjoy ur stay...
All praise to God....

Chai this thread has reached part three....

To God be the glory I had my baby girl at Northside Hospital( yeah I know Atlanta is not a favorite destination but I must still drop my comments) she turned three months yesterday grin grin

Dear future Atlanta bound mamas the $3,550 hospital fee for a two day stay is only an estimate as stated in the letter you get from price.estimate email. Hmmmm..
I refused to fall into labor normally oh at 40+ weeks and doctor told me cervix was closed and high up. To summarize the dramatic story I ended up going in for induction and ended up spending a total of $5,410 for hospital bill only (after discount) for three days stay since I ended up being induced and it was only successful at the THIRD attempt. Infact i discharged myself after day 3.( grin grin) So long story short if u are headed to that hospital hold vex money oh hmmm. but I must confess the hospital is FANTASTIC, the services and CARE are oh la la. plus the freebies. upon the gbese I incurred I MAY use them again sha for baby nos 2.

Epistle over...

signing out to return in the nearest future

Bleep

Please how much can you remember was the total bill all inclusive of those mentioned?

U are Right, After using her first B1/B2 Visa for childbirth, she has renewed her B1/B2 visa recently. The problem is that she also wants an F1 US visa(Student Visa) But was denied. May be she also wants to study in the US notwithstanding that she already have B1/B2 valid visa in her passport which is not meant for studying in the USA. so she wants to know the implication of her using her valid B1/B2 visa for child birth next year. In my own opinion i dont think she will have any problem next year when going for another childbirth since her current Visa covers for child birth. Just Notify the Embassy of your change of plan, arm yourself with necessary documents including the receipts for your past baby delivery and Have a good cash at hand, then u are good to go. They felt that u have another thing in mind and only want u to continue with the B1/B2 visa u have..

Thanks for the reply, the VO concluded during the F1 interview that I was not honest and was busy typing on his system so that really got me scared thinking he has not written anything funny under my information even though he didn't cancel my current B1B2 visa. I probably shouldn't have tried changing the visa from here but that's a lesson learnt. Hence the reason why am seeking advise as to what to do next against my next travel. But reading from this thread have concluded I will write the letter before traveling next for child birth.

I need your advice guys I applied for F1 visa last month but was denied the VO did not ask anything about my intended purpose this time all he pulled out was 2 years ago information as to why I didn't inform the VO that interviewed me that I will be having a baby in the US. We applied as a family then myself husband and son and it was a smooth interview cos we said we were going for vacation and other information asked was provided but nothing asked about childbirth and so we didnt inform them about it.however we traveled and had a baby. Again before the visa expired we travled again for vacation spent 3 weeks no issues at POE theofficer only checked my receip for1 child birth for my 1st visit During the F1 interview he asked what we went to do in the US I told him the truth vacation and delivery eventhough we have all renewed our visas without issues. So he concluded I wasnth honest then and denied me on section 214b. Now I intend to travel again sometimes next year for another delivery. What do you bus advice I can do. I still have my valid B1B2 visa which we just renewed.
