Since the father denied the child, why not give the child 3 name. These names will be the child's names, don't add surname even yours.
When the child is of age of understanding, you can tell him his story.
In future, He may choose to do change of name if he reaches out to his father and he (the father) accepts him.
This is what I would do. |

They wouldn't kill to get rich Recently, there was a story about a Hausa lady who the Hausa husband killed because of her father's properties. This applies to all tribes. Let us pray we don't meet the wrong partner. |

Bespiel: Dear Graduate Mechanical Engineer, as there are no jobs tailored towards your discipline or otherwise, I have a simple suggestion for you.
Instead of wasting your valuable time, Why not take up some practical skills acquisition training in automobile (It could be road side mechanics if you don't have the funds for high class auto shops) or even on Air conditioning repairs and installation or other more practical mech Eng majors. I tell you, before you know it, you would be your own boss in no time. Coupled with the fact that you are a graduate, you'll easily develop a far better approach to managing your business whilst caving a niche in that line of business. The people you wanted to work for will turn out to be your customers or better still business associates as the case may be. Wish you the very best. My thoughts exactly! |

2014 when my doctor informed me I was going to have a CS, I said OK!
With shock on her face, she asked REALLY?!
I said yes and asked her why.
She said she was expecting me to scream God forbid, not my portion. I simply told her if that is the only way left to see, carry, cuddle, care for the fruit of my womb, so be it.
2016 and still counting, you need to see the handsome ,smart, funny, witty boy.
The prayers should be that may God make it successful, shikena! |

Evina: Actually it's Water Closet!
The Cistern is where water is stored, that is the tank. The writer is clueless as already depicted in her article. Thank you very much. You are very polite. I didn't bother to find out before making that comment. I will modify my comment. Thanks once again |

lonelydora: Lol.......... I was in my second year in university when I learnt it was cistern and not system.
We learn everyday shaa. We truly learn everyday. However, ranchoddas has done justice to the misconception. Water Cistern is very wrong. The correct word is actually Water Closet... |
Celebrities › Re: "If Wizkid Had Some Sense" - ThankGod Eboh by bolseas(f): 9:11pm On Apr 04, 2016 |
Ranchhoddas: WC is actually water closet.A cistern is a tank that holds water especially on or within the roof of a house or connected to a WC.The OP is an ill-educated slowpoke who just needs the attention. He can't possibly be sitting on the cistern.Don't get it twisted.Thank me later. Thank you Ranchoddas Chanchar.... I googled it too. You are very correct. Can we then call it Water Closet, WC? |

I initially wanted to scream BLOODY Coward, but when I read your story further, I realised that you have tried a lot of things but the outcomes are not what you expected.
People have written, advised you.....
I am happy you now have a rethink. A problem shared is a problem half solved. But in your own case, it is a problem fully solved. Sometimes it is good to open up.
What I keep thinking is that what if after killing yourself, those places where you went for interviews called you to offer you the job. I mean about 3/4 companies called almost at the same time.
You are a hard-working and honest person, your command of English is soooo on point.
I believe that we will congratulate you soon. |

@austinosita,
This is soooo touching. I can say all these about my parents. Especially my dad. My dad suffered, suffered, suffered so much for me. He fought for me, he defended me..... I still give thanks to God that He left me a parent who is reaping the reward for the Labour they both had for me and my siblings.
Your prayers for your mum Will not go unanswered. God bless and continue to strengthen your mother. She is priceless.... |

Off topic, my younger brother graduated from polytechnic as a mechanical engineer. Right now, he is training with the kind of mechanics we call road side mechanics.
Back to topic, I think, orthopaedic surgeons could go and train with very good, professional Bone Setters. It will improve their expertise.
Just my opinion. |
