Submit to what? Are we returning to slavery? To your point about striking USA soil, that would have ended this war a long time ago. There is already a growing opposition to this war. So if their soil was being hit, Americans would have revolted against their government to stop the war.

A very corrupt process with kickbacks. Just like when Donald Rumsfeld casually held a press conference and announced the Pentagon had lost trillions. U.S. Congress has been bought by lobbyists and special interests, while the executive branch has the same issue and is controlled by the military industrial complex. Those politicians get compensated by military contractors. The Pentagon isn't spending that much to do anything. It is how the government officials get paid. They are not living on their official salaries with some engaging in inside trading.

The U.S. hegemony is maintained by wars. It is not a surprise that they are the world's largest arm producer. Always money for war, but never for taking care of the people. Same country is ravaged by homelessness and inaccessible healthcare. The military industrial complex wins again.

Stop saying this without putting it into real context. So minimum wage is 70k a month, how much or how many percent of the minimum wage should go into electricity bill and and pray tell how much you think or know people pay already. This will enable us know if we are paying enough or not.

Because you cant expect a household whose income is 200 monthly to pay 50k for 24/7 electricity. That wont make much sense.

Edited: so I did a lil research and for Band A, a kw is 209- 225 so a household using 200kw a month pays up to 45k monthly. Not sure how accurate this research is but thats about 64% of the minimum wage.

Now in Manitoba, (one of the cheapest in canada) it's cost about 220 dollars monthly thats about 7.8% of the minimum wage.

Finally , we shouldnt just look at it from a point of high cost to better value, some other intricacies are involved and that is where the government, good government comes in.
